Yesterday someone emailed a link to a Fox News article, with a note saying that I wouldn’t believe the vile comments being posted by the Fox audience. The link: UN Says Cholera Epidemic in Somalia.

You’ll notice that today, all the comments for this article have been removed — all of them. But I saved a web archive of the page, suspecting that it might go missing. Notice that many of these comments received numerous “likes” from other readers.

A Cholera epidemic is right around the corner.

And let’s not forget the despicable Pirates.

No matter what type aid we send them, it seems to never get in the right person’s hand. Then again if they did receive food for a couple of months, they’d  gain their strength back and just make more babies.

Sometimes you just need to let nature run its course and I think this is one of those times.

There’s a lot more in this vein. When I captured the page there were 78 comments, and almost all of them were like this. Notice how they use creative misspellings, add spaces, and run words together when they post racist slurs, to get around searches and automatic word filters.

The racist ugliness at Fox News is indistinguishable from the comments at the infamous neo-Nazi site Stormfront.
