Actual News Headline vs. Fox News Headline
From the Washington Post’s blog: Attack Watch, new Obama campaign site to ‘fight smears,’ becomes laughing stock of conservatives.
At Fox Nation, this devolves into: WaPo: Obama’s New Site, AttackWatch.com, Becomes Laughing Stock of the Internet.
You mean it’s the whole Internet, not just the usual obsessed far right anti-Obama nutbags?
The Fox Nation comment section for this post is a rancid sewer of hatred, as usual. And whenever Fox Nation goes full-on loony with a fake outrage story, the right wing blogosphere bovinely follows along, so of course they’re all mooing at the moon, throwing poo at Barack Obama for creating a website (attackwatch.com) to fight the endless deluge of smears pouring out of the right. To the wingnuts, Obama’s only possible reason for doing such a thing is that he’s a paranoid imbecile, unlike them.
Remember, these are the very same people who post daily rants accusing Obama of being a stealth communist, possibly a jihad supporter, born in a foreign country, Kenya, Indonesia, who cares, just go back there. He hates America. His wife hates America. They’re indoctrinating our children with socialist propaganda and arugula.
He must be paranoid to think anyone would spread false rumors and claims about him. Let’s all smirk and laugh.
