I saw Spinal Tap shortly after moving back to The States after growing up abroad. At the time was was experiencing culture shock, as a teen I was learning to use a pay phone and a vending machine for the first time. I hadn't seen American tv since I was very little. I turned on HBO and started watching Spinal Tap. I didn't suspect it was a parody for the first hour or so and wasn't even sure once the movie was over.

Yeah, I found it on Datechguy's youtube channel before he posted it to his blog. I can't quite remember how I got there. I think Instapundit linked to him about something, I can't quite recall.

Meanwhile for those on the left convinced somehow that there is a smoking gun to prove that Breitbart is part of a secret tea party plot to exterminate all who disagree with him (Judging from the comments I’ve seen on the other videos, that seems to be what the “I don’t have a life brigade” think) missing from my videos, here is the missing 13 seconds:

Ah, I see what you're asking. Yes, it was an original find first posted on LGF. I was originally interested in some Datechguy's post of a video with Breitbart spewing some revisionist history about godless communism in America. I checked his youtube channel and found the civil war clips. LGF had the story before anyone else, I feel pretty confident about that.

We had quite a storm about 5am this morning. Serious wind gusts, driving rain, thunder and lightning. My little terrier, Buddy, snuggled in the bed next to me all a-skeered and shivering... I was thinking, since when is he scared of storms like this? It finally occurred to me that in the almost year since he came to live with us, this was the first big storm we've had.
