Fox has long since dropped any pretence of being a news outfit. It is good that you keep posting proof of their ridiculous propaganda, lies, distortions and fabrications. They are shameless shills and slowly but surely the Average American will come to realize just how much Fox lies, all the time.
In this case, they are castigating Obama calling to create jobs by doing needed infrastructure work on a bridge that everyone knows needs work and most certainly does not go nowhere.
It is lie upon lie that the GOP wants to create jobs - even needed ones doing needed thing. Nothing that would actually help the economy right now is to be permitted - and Fox is right there telling people to act against their own interests.

In Fox News’ dream America, they’ll post 2 pages on walls, for loyal citizens to read and (of course) agree with enthusiastically. Actually, it’s much worse than that. Once you believe something, you tend to disregard evidence to the contrary and believe things that confirm it (i.e. confirmation bias).
So once you believe that government is evil, that taxes are higher than anywhere else, etc. it doesn’t matter what you listen to, you just hear the things you already believe.

Very anecdotal here, but recently a football blog, profootballtalk.com reported on a story of Fox Sports fabricating headlines about Jay Cutler during a broadcast.
Now, I’m a huge football fan and have been a posting member on a few football websites. Generally speaking the commenters on these sites tend to be more of the Tea Party persuasion. My theory on this has always been that the demographic of people who post on these websites would tend to be older, whiter, and more male than the general population which fits in with the Tea Party demographic. Needless to say I was pretty shocked at the comments in that story just ripping apart Fox News for what they really are.
My point is, I get the feeling that the general public is beginning to see Fox News for what it is. I think the phone hacking scandal has contributed to that feel, but I’m thinking that after 3 straight years of bashing the President over everything, no matter what that the public is beginning to catch on to what Fox News really is. I could be wrong about that….I know their ratings are still killer (relatively speaking) but I just get the feeling that they really are being exposed for what they are.
On that note…..Charles please keep posting these Fox headline stories. Other than being extremely entertaining, I think pointing out this type of nonsense on a consistent basis really is making a difference
