Occupy Seattle is holding a "brainstorming/awareness" event of sorts a few blocks from where I live. Should I go?
Previous responses from last night point to yes.

And didn't someone say the women who got sprayed were blocking traffic?
How could they do that from behind a barricade, unless said barricade was set up in the middle of the street?

Conservatives do love themselves a good police state as long as it's only hippies getting policed.

That was what the police inspector claimed. Also the second video was edited. In the full version the guy is getting in the cops face, chest bumping, yelling, etc. He gets pushed back a few times before they mace him.

The fine folks from Anon have published personal information about him and his family.......
Pepper-Spraying Cop Gets Death Threats—And Police Protection
The NYPD has given extra personal security to Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna, who was caught on multiple videos pepper-spraying protesters around Union Square last weekend, in response to his personal information being released by Anonymous. Bologna, who is now being investigated by the NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau and by the Civilian Complaint Review Board, has been reportedly receiving death threats and harassing calls at his home. Police are also providing extra security to his family.
I'm sure it's just love notes from the always peaceful leftists because we know they can fo know wrong. The anarchists from Anon have also published the personal information of banking executives....
Hackers release data about JP Morgan Chase CEO
The document released on Pastebin by "CabinCr3w" includes information about CEO James Dimon's addresses, family, business connections, political contributions and legal information. A spokeswoman for J.P. Morgan Chase said the company is declining to comment.
The same hackers posted personal data of Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein and of New York Police Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna

Do you think some day we'll see FBI undercover investigations in the high offices looking over Wall Street below? Ones in which drug use and dealing may be found much like they did with the workers at Boeing? Or perhaps other high crimes and misdemeanors perpetrated by the ultra super rich elites and power brokers of America?
Not likely.
So instead we are once again fed the status quo propaganda in which one loud and lone protester yelling at a cop gets maced. The irony of course is that these cops are politically not to far apart given the demands and back room dealing of the NYPD police unions. It was the anarchists and other left wing protests which included not only yelling at cops but protesters being shot and killed by cops. But it was those protests that brought the high pay and benefits enjoyed by the NYPD today.

Pathetic.
GAMBLING: Mr. Mayor, let’s talk about Zuccoti Park and the protesters. How do you end that thing?
BLOOMBERG: The protesters are protesting against people who make $40-50,000 a year and are struggling to make ends meet. That’s the bottom line. Those are the people that work on Wall Street or on the finance sector. [...] People in this day and age need support for their employers. We need the banks, if the banks don’t go out and make loans we will not come out of our economy problems, we will not have jobs. And so anything we can do to responsibly help the banks do that, encourage them to do that is waht we need. I think we spend much too much time worrying about how we got into problems as to how we go forward. [...] Also we always tend to blame the wrong people. We blame the banks. They were part of it, but so were Frddie Mac and Frannie Mae and Congress.
What a tool.

Good for Stewart. These protests amazingly are not getting much media attention. But with John covering it, maybe the rest of the MSM will start taking this seriously.

Good. Maybe the bankers need to start feeling a little fear.
