Limbaugh: Michelle Obama Booed at NASCAR Because She’s ‘Uppity’

Outright racism
Wingnuts • Views: 18,679

The day is approaching when Rush Limbaugh will dispense with the evasions entirely and start calling the Obamas by the word he really wants to use, the word that starts with an N.

Because this is no dog whistle, folks. This is outright, overt, in your face racism: Limbaugh: Michelle Obama Was Booed At NASCAR Event Because She Has Exhibited ‘Uppity-Ism’.

And everyone knows it, including Limbaugh’s debased wingnut audience. I’m sure they’ll still try to excuse it, but they know what this is.

Gush Limbaugh...another civil, caring orifice who knows everything there is to know about uppity

Well, what is a black person doing at a NASCAR event in the first place?

Wow. I guess he's decided the subtle approach wasn't working.

"NASCAR people understand this is a bit of a waste"
(Obamas traveling on two different planes)

You mean, the people who watch cars drive around in a circle burning up fuel for several hours?

Watching the car her husband's Army sponsors make left turns.

My husband likes NASCAR. He also doesn't care too much about how the President moves around.

from the comments...

Yeah, typical Rush, what does it say about the collection of wife-beating, car crash porn watching, meth smoking, inbred, violent, racist, provincial, freak-show rejects that make up a typical NASCAR audience?

What kind of people boo the First Lady? Especially a First Lady who has remained out of politics and done her best not to make waves? DO you think people like Rush who exist to dehumanize people like Michelle Obama to the drooling evolutionary dead ends that comprise the NASCAR audience?

Hey, I'm sure there's some decent human beings who go to NASCAR events, but they get drowned out by the hordes of hateful idiots who would boo a lovely and gracious mother of two, like our First Lady.

It's not because she was "uppity"... it's because they are low-brow hillbilly scum.

A bit, per reports. She was also cheered.

"The Obamas don't like a lot of people."

Neither do I, Mr. Limbaugh, especially demagogues who conflate Mrs. Obama's opinions on obesity, cars, etc. with some kind of coercive dictate. They are no such thing: You don't have be problem with "being told what to do," you have a problem with other people having opinions.

Posting this to both threads: The First Lady of the United States cannot be 'uppity'. A person of her social standing can, at worst, be described as 'aloof'.

Which she isn't.

Not everyone is a fan.

I've said it once and I'll say it again - it's racism. But it's also more than that. I don't care even about Limbaugh, although he of course once again shows his racist spout. I'm amazed at the general treatment of Obama's family, who are in no way responsible for his policies. Hate him all you want. But when you call his wife a "wookie", "uppity" and his innocent daughters "ghetto trash", you transcend even "mere" racism. It's some pathology I don't have a name for.

He sounds like she personally called him "fat". Which she didn't. But I think he has a weight problem because he's rebelling against any suggestion from anyone that he should do something other than whatever the hell he wants to do. And then he projects that all over his radio audience, who lap it up. It's all about freedom to be and to have as big of an ass as he wants.

Lawhawk has called the anniversary of the JFK assassination downstairs. I'm pleased and a little surprised that the President has made it this far.

So are my old students. First thing after the election, my kids started praying for Obama every time there was a call for special intentions. Their parents and grandparents were scared.

The tragedy about this situation is that Limbaugh basically gets to choose the GOP candidate for POTUS, or if he fails there, he gets to strong-arm the nominee about the VP.

I wasn't trying to disparage NASCAR and/or it's fans, just pointing out it seemed like an odd complaint from Rush, as if the President throwing out a pitch at a baseball game "was a waste of rosin"

No, no, didn't take it like that--I just get tired of Rush and his like acting as though just watching NASCAR makes you this pure all-American type who will surely agree with them about Obama.

Must be different on the west coast. Most NASCAR fans I know are mouth breathers.

The speakers do not think of her as first lady, they look at first lady and see n*****.

They keep saying this over and over, yet nobody listens.
