Climategate Hackers Slither Again
This one goes out to the right wingers who’ve emailed demanding to know when I’m going to cover the Son of Climategate pseudo-scandal, in which still-unknown entities have released another, larger selection of emails from their original theft in November 2009.
The short version: pathetically bogus.
But after seven independent investigations have cleared all the scientists involved from any wrongdoing, what else did you expect? DeSmogBlog has a good overview of the situation, appropriately titled: Climategate Hackers Slither Again in the Night.

It’s no coincidence, of course, that this release of more stolen emails occurs at the same time as the latest UN climate change conference, and it should serve as proof that this was not the act of a whistle-blower, but a deliberate attempt to sabotage efforts to address the increasingly dangerous problem of global climate change.
