At least one woman has come forth to defend Herman Cain; of course, Lori Klein is Cain’s Arizona chairman, but still.

One Cain supporter who was on the conference call suggested to CBS News that Cain is simply in the process of retooling his campaign to deal with the problems with messaging, fundraising and other issues in the wake of the allegations. …

Lori Klein, an Arizona state Senator and Cain’s Arizona state chairman, told CBS News she stands by Cain.

She says she has known him for 12 years and he’s “never been anything but a gentlemen - and I am not an unattractive woman.”

Yeah! If Herman would have gone for anyone it would have been her. That proves his innocence. Good grief.

Meanwhile I thought I remembered the name Lori Klein, so I Googled her and sure enough — she got into the news earlier this year when she pulled a loaded handgun out of her purse during an interview and pointed it at a reporter’s chest.

This could have something to do with the reason Herman never sexually harassed her, despite her undeniable hotness.
