Geller and Spencer Get Lathered Up, Spew Insults and Conspiracy Theories

“Who is paying you?”
Wingnuts • Views: 29,476

My earlier post about the latest attempt by Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller to drum up hatred for Muslims by inventing an “honor killing” apparently got under the bigots’ skins, leading to this exchange on Twitter in which Spencer and Geller spew insults and make up conspiracy theories about me. I have to admit, I do enjoy getting them worked up into a rabid state. (Doesn’t take much.)

Notice that Geller breaks some big news here — her hate group SIOA is “working up legislation” to make sure all stealth halal food products are labeled as dangerous. Idiot.

I give this outburst an 8.1 in the publicly known mad dog bloggers category. Style was good, with an especially rich froth. Originality, not so much. They tried but there was the misfire with "bagelboy." Conspiracist insults need not be true, obviously, but they should at least resemble one or more of the actual crazed allegations being made.

As for these mysterious paymasters of yours, are they hiring and where do I apply?

The logic goes like this:

Pam: Guy was a Muslim, and murdered his wife and children.

Pam: This must have been an honor killing.

Charles: It does't look like an honor killing. It looks like a plain old homicide.

Pam: WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING THIS MAN? HE'S BAD!

Pam: Also, he's a Muslim. So this must have been an honor killing.

I’m using Twitter’s new embed feature to show the tweets in something like conversation form…

It would help if the Tweeters involved were better at this "conversation" stuff.

10 FreedomMoon  Wed, Dec 28, 2011 4:16:54pm

Duh Charles, can't you see the logic? Since you don't make up/believe fictitious hate claims against Muslims, you must be fine with innocent little girls being killed. This of course is right on par with your support of babies getting slaughtered...

Circular logic.

// Not to mention that Charles is under contract with Our Zionist Overlords, so he can't be taking money from the Muslim Overlords as well, as that would be a definite conflict of interest and contractual violation.

Pretty much...no matter what the facts are or what the police say, in Pam's and Robert's fevered imagination, this is an "honor killing" and is being suppressed by the media and the authorities from being announced as such.

To me, it's just looks like the guy went psycho...what more does anyone really need to know?

Standing w/ Erickson, Paul, & Heritage against Obama, Wasserman Schultz, and Conyers -- WTF?!?

Let me establish some bona fides here: Erick Erickson is an arrogant clod, Ron Paul is a proven racist who shouldn't be let near the White House without an armed guard, and the Heritage Foundation has the intellectual depth and integrity of a Ronco commercial. Having said that, it's beyond weird to me to find myself aligned with them, and against Barack Obama....

...here I stand, flanked by the likes of Ron Paul, Erick Erickson, Darrell Issa, the guy from HotAir, and the flabby minions from the Heritage Foundation. People that I have admired for a generation stand on the other side, ducking their heads and counting their money. It's fucking shameful.

War on Christmas nonsense reaches Iowa voter:

November's unemployment rate in Iowa was 5.7 percent, almost 3 points below the national average. That leaves more room for voters here to raise other issues with the candidates.

When Romney opened the floor for questions, one man wanted to know about religion.

"Yeah, I was wondering what you're planning on doing to get 'In God We Trust' back into this country again because our kids can't even celebrate Christmas in this country for fear of offending someone else," said the potential supporter. "Y'know, when we came here, we were founded on 'In God We Trust' and I'd like to see that back in this country again."[Link: www.npr.org...]

@BadAstronomer: ABC running dangerous antivax ad in Times Square on New Year's Eve.

This is an especially dangerous time to be spreading fear about vaccines in New York City, where the NYC Department of Health has confirmed 126 cases of whooping cough since August 2011. Whooping cough is a serious disease and infants are especially at risk of serious illness or even death. Vaccines are our most powerful tool in defense against diseases like whooping cough. However, if NVIC’s ad is successful, we may see more people refusing vaccinations for themselves and their children, and a rise in illness and death within the US.

Police also said Wednesday that they have no evidence that the shootings were an honor killing and are pursuing evidence that the motive in this case resulted from the dissolution of Yazdanpanah’s family and financial troubles he was experiencing. The last time the water bill was paid in the Colleyville residence where the Yazdanpanah family lived was on Sept. 13 and water service to the residence was shut off on Nov. 29, according to Mona Gandy, a Colleyville spokeswoman. Tarrant County court records indicate that Yazdanpanah filed for divorce on April 1, 2002, and his wife filed April 3, 2002. The cases were dismissed on April 17, 2002. In his filing, Yazdanpanah gave the date of their marriage as Aug. 22, 1986. Her filing gave the date as Aug. 21, 1987. Property records indicate that the couple faced foreclosure three times on their Colleyville home during the 2000s. The final notice was sent in August 2010. Yazdanpanah still lived in the house, friends said. Records also showed that the Yazdanpanahs had filed for bankruptcy four times from October 1999 to August 2010.

re: #92 freetoken

I take then that you are a supporter of SOPA?

Not particularly but I don't believe the hysterical interpretations about the end of the internet, free speech, political websites and an impending global fascist New world order. I'm sure there's a lot of interesting and reasonable debate to be had but most of the conversation seems dictated by radio transmissions from Pluto.

Why am I not surprised you think that?

I don't care about your surprises or what anyone thinks. I stated a verifiable fact.

That would be the New Horizons satellite.

As far as SOPA and related legislation - I've yet to make up my mind about it (as I've not spent any time researching it), but I am very wary of governmental and inter-governmental control of free assembly (even of the idiots, which assemble quite a bit), physical or electronic.

Well Son of Sam was getting instructions from a dog as well. And bad things came from that.

im still trying to figure out if pamela geller finished that exchange by calling herself a scumbag. I might be missing something.

What I really don't get about the "secret Halal" nonsense is that there are so many foods that are secretly Kosher. Geller knows this, obviously. In the past, anti-Semites have used the existence of the tiny kosher certification marks (on all kinds of foods you would never notice if you weren't looking for them) as evidence of Jewish conspiracies. That's why many kosher foods dropped the insignias and you have to look in the kosher magazines to see who they are.

To me, this is one of the most disturbing aspects of this particular anti-islamic slur, it is exquisitely familiar to Jews.

Off point and not critical... when you quote someone and add the incredulous question mark, the question mark should be outside the quotations. I.e.:

"Bagelboy"?

The '?' is not being quoted, you see. Not to distract from the conversation.
