Yes, I’m inconsolable over the bail-out of Michele Bachmann (R-Mars). Along with Herman Cain, this means that two of the primary sources of inadvertent wingnut comedy have now “suspended their campaigns,” and we’re all poorer for it.

As a send-off for Michele, here’s her nearly interminable bye-bye speech; the best part is at 1:17, when she meanders into a story about a painting in the Capitol building, and its “poygnant” reminder.

We’ll miss you, Ms Bachmann. (But don’t worry; she’ll be back.)
