Fox Nation Commenters Spew Yet Another Deluge of Racism at Sheila Jackson Lee

What right wing racism?
Wingnuts • Views: 33,161

As we’ve noted at LGF many times, Fox Nation, official discussion forum of Fox News, has become utterly indistinguishable from a neo-Nazi hate site like Stormfront. And here’s another graphic, disgusting demonstration.

Yesterday, whatever race-baiting goon runs that site posted a video of Sheila Jackson Lee, criticizing Newt Gingrich’s racist code words:

Sheila Jackson Lee: Newt Using ‘Codewords’ to be Racist - Newt Gingrich - Fox Nation

Of course, they knew exactly what would happen; that’s why they posted the video. Fox Nation commenters responded with a torrent of outraged whining and denials: “Democrats are the real racists,” “Sheila Jackson Lee is the real racist,” “There’s no racism in America,” “I’m sick of being accused of racism,” etc. etc. etc.

And these comments indignantly denying Ms Lee’s statements about racism were posted right next to hundreds of comments like these:

Quick get the zoo keeper, Magilla has escaped!

[…]

Shelia Jackson Lee is a good an advertisement for the movie runaway slave as almost any public figure.

[…]

Have we paid enough for this to the point we have had enough?
What would be the outcome if we stopped being politically correct and started using the “N” word?

[…]

A person like Lee is what the N word is used to describe.

[…]

She is a prime example of where the N-word comes from.

[…]

I think shiela would win the Patrick Ewing look a like contest.

[…]

LOL ! Or play King Kong with very little make-up !

[…]

It appears we have Jane Goodal’s prize primate on Foxnation today.

[…]

Barak Obama is codeword for “Affirmative Action”.

[…]

Proof gorillas can talk !

[…]

Sheila’s fortune cookie is a watermelon with food stamps in it!!

[…]

Blacks act like animals, they don’t value education, home, or work ethics, most don’t know who their daddy is.

[…]

The reason this crazy *&%(#& keeps getting elected is her district is full of welfare queens and crackheads…

[…]

It used to scare people, they didn’t want to be called racist!! To me, anymore it is a complement. I am sick of: the give aways, the welfare, the crime, the stupidity of these sick animals! Time to kill’em all!!

[…]

sheila jackson is living proof that her father had s ex with Bigfoot.

[…]

don’t forget about when people describe her as “silverback”, that’s code, I think, Well, that’s what I heard…………….

[…]

Amazing isn’t it folks every time someone, anyone, mentions the word “work” bl acks go berserk.

[…]

This negrocom acts as though she is fresh out of the trees…..Who in their right mind would have voted for her?

[…]

I’ve got a code word for you Sheila; ghetto-skank-ho.

[…]

Jackson Lee is a welfare-loving loud mouthed ugly GorillaBitch who hates white people.

[…]

She aint human…..she’s a gorilla in a skirt. Throw the beotch a banana and shut her up !

[…]

Kong !!!!

[…]

makes me think she’s slobbering for the chance to arm every person of “color” and give them marching orders to elimate every “cracker” in this nation.

[…]

That is one uuuuuuuuuuuugly beeotch. She looks like an ape. How anyone could pro-create with that is a mystery.

[…]

It tickles me to see how these chimps show their strupidity and how the Media runs things like her on the air.

[…]

An ignorant porch monkey, blabbering to a dithering idiot.

[…]

This GO Rilla headed f o o l would drive any one to be a r a c i s t .

[…]

I have a code word for you ms Jackson. Moron. I don’t think there is one indication that I was racist by calling you that. Now Gorilla Face might have some possibility of racism because there are only a few albino gorillas. I will stand by my decision of calling you Gorilla Face, and just say I am not and have never been a racist.

[…]

This id iot N woman needs to be hung from a tree as strange fruit. Anyone not understanding me needs to listen to Bessie Smith’s song.

[…]

Until the districts are re-drawn this porch monkey will continue to be in office.

[…]

OMG, How would a baboon know what a code word is?

[…]

No, wrong, she is just a vindictive niqqer, nothing more, nothing less.

It goes on and on; there are currently almost a thousand comments posted there. These quotes are from a quick scan down the page — I’m sure I missed some.

Now I think I need a shower. There’s a real sickness on the right wing, and organizations like Fox News are deliberately feeding it and making it worse.

Difference between Fox Nation and Stormfront is that the latter doesn't install word filters in some vain attempt to stem the tide of unabashed racism.

With about 50% in the cities (black) that don't even graduate high school, and 75% who have un-named fathers, and for 4 generations have lived off Taxpayers, we're not allowed to say it because it's "insensitive" or "you don't understand the culture".

I understand the culture: welfare is the only way of life they've ever seen, and they are taught to milk the system to exist, without working (unless drug-dealing, theft, and pimping are considered "jobs"), because they have a "Right" to a plasma TV, Michael Jordan Air tennis shoes, baggy-ass pants worn at the mid-thigh, and straight-billed baseball caps worn sideways......that's a lifestyle that votes 95%+ Democrat EVERY TIME, and calls WHITES the "racists".

Heh...Team Romney has been bussing in young Mormons from the DC area to boost his crowd sizes in South Carolina.

But this wasn't a grassroots youth movement rooted at the University of South Carolina. No, many of the students cheering on the candidate told BuzzFeed they were actually BYU students and young Mormons from D.C. and Virginia who traveled to the Palmetto State to give their coreligionist's presidential effort a much-needed jolt of energy.

Kat Wardle, a 23-year-old BYU student who is spending the semester in Washington, D.C., said she and several young Latter-Day Saints have been following Romney around the state, playing the role of cheerleaders at various campaign stops.

I love the smell of desperation in the morning.

The RNC is *so* going to regret trying to copy the 2008 Democratic Long Slog -- the more exposure these contenders get, the more independents love Obama.

The Dems had the advantage of having two truly credible, historic options with tons of enthusiasm for both, the final result came down to whose ground game could register the most new voters and turn them out. Those new voters and newly built-up turnout operations (from both candidates) gave their all not only to the eventual nominee, but to the down-ticket races as well. The Reps aren't registering anybody, they're putting all their energy into TV spots.

61 jhrhv  Sat, Jan 21, 2012 2:59:12pm

OT sort of.
Kind of alarming how we forget history

1920's boom
Huge economy
Big party
Most everyone making good money
1929 ripped off by wall st / banks

1930's bust
Recession brought on by republicans who cared for business in 20's at expense of everyone else
Blame Jews blacks and other foreigners
Rise of fascism
New deal bailout
Drawing down of extreme new deal
Economy start to slow
People that suffer worst by economy in 30's the poor, blacks and foreigners
1939 Hitler starts war

1940's war
50 million dead
War industry boosted economy
50's
60's
70's
80's
90's boom
00's bust
I think we are someone around the mid 30's by comparison
10's ????

Okay way simplified but I think you get what I'm saying
The money the POTUS put into saving the economy is largely spent. He won't have an easy time getting more with the obstructionist Republicans who from what i have seen don't have a problem with totally trashing the economy if it means they get Obama out.

Has anyone in the Republican clown car even had any real job or economy plan other than tax the poor?

I hope I'm not the only one seeing a bit of a pattern here or that I'm just wrong and that what I'm think of as conclusions are wrong because if I'm right could be the big war coming. Ahmadinejad could be the new Hitler in this version and the rethugs well they've pretty much come full circle.

I'm just getting ready to head out for dinner and a movie with the Mrs. If any of you care to point out the flaws in my rather succinct history and it repeating I'd be happy to read your responses. I'm more hoping people will tell me how wrong I am an not that I'm right.

I believe a lot of the commenter's here are rather tuned in and have a better grasp of both this history and or what's happening now than I. Hey excuse me if I want to use the Internet to get peoples input rather than another picture of a lolcat or to wish someone happy birthday on facebook. Also excuse me for skipping over several decades I am trying to keep this from becoming too huge.

Hoping this won't get me banned or make me look too stupid just what I was thinking today.

I see your point, but with one problem.

Ahmadinejad and Iran are in horrible straits. Economically in shambles, and the top two duking it out for dominance.

If I were to worry about a country, I would worry about China (they forced Tajikstan to cede several thousand square kilometers last year, and have massive issues, along with Hyper-Nationalism) and the Netherlands (the only nation in Europe to not sober up after 7/22).

Protesters Throw Bricks and Bibles at Police in San Francisco

Occupy San Francisco’s “Day of Action” turned violent Friday night when protesters occupied an abandoned hotel and began throwing objects at police officers from the roof, police said.
“Once they gained access [to the hotel], some of them made it to the top of the roof and they then began to throw bibles down at the officers,” San Francisco Police Department spokesman Carlos Manfredi said.
“One of officers was struck with a brick to the chest and one of our lieutenants was struck in the hand with an object and may have damaged or even broken his hand,” he said.

I heard a Gingrich radio ad the other night here in NY, and that's exactly th line they use - 'The only man who can beat Barack Obama.'

And it seems to have seeped into the wingnut consciousness - I read a comment from a woman today who voted for Newt because 'he's the only one who can stand up to Obama.'

I really don't see it, but the wingnuts seem to have convinced themselves already, so whatevs.

I Kept Warm by Burning Money: Climber Reveals How he Survived Two Days in Mountain Blizzard

A seasoned mountaineer, who was lost for two days in a snowstorm on a mountainside, told rescuers he survived by burning dollar bills and dreaming of a sauna, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday on its online edition.

Kim Yong-chun, 66, started a fire and first burned leaves - before resorting to the contents of his wallet and his socks.

The pensioner, from Tacoma, became stranded on Mount Rainier in Washington after becoming separated from a group who were also snowshoeing on Saturday.

Kim, who served in the South Korean military in the Vietnam War, told local station KOMO-TV that he had fire starters with him and first burned some leaves before turning to personal items.

The 66-year-old also kept moving to stay warm, took cover under a tree at night and dreamed of his wife and being in a sauna.

Seriously, trying to imagine the debates with any of this quartet of rejects against Obama is just hilarious.

Romney will work well up until Obama slams him on his own duplicity, when he'll start stuttering and making excuses.

Newt will spend the entire time talking down to the audience, making Obama look friendly by comparison.

Paul will seem like ye olde snake oil salesman, up there trying to convince folks how dismantling everything they rely upon to live normal lives will be good for them.

Santorum, I think, might be the only one who might be able to debate on near even terms. At least until he starts trying to argue that marriage is the cure to poverty.

Small and amusing factoid, again noting that the sample size is too small to produce a reliable test for the future.

Since 1972, the winner of the SC primary has always won the GOP nomination. Neither NH nor Iowa can make that claim.

fwiw, at this point I'm going to guess the winner of Florida is the higher odds candidate for the nomination. Right now Romney's got the lead there. On the other hand:
a) Romney led in South Carolina ten days out; and
b) Gingrich has been climbing in Florida polls.

I was referring more to the electorate at large. The longer Newt is around, the more that people at large will remember that he's an asshole.

The GOP base has already established themselves as batshit insane and determined to vote for anyone except Mitt Romney. They want a bomb thrower for a nominee, just like the Dems did in 2004.

Think the main difference is that the Dem chief bomb thrower in '04 went pretty much nowhere quick, especially after his freak-out in Iowa. Newt seems to have learned from his playbook and isn't making similar gaffes. In a way, what we're seeing what it would have been like had Dean not exploded in Iowa and survived longer into the primary season.

re: #133 Targetpractice, Worst of Both Worlds

I chalk a lot of Newt's apparent resurgence in SC to all of the above, but don't forget a couple of very important things.

Newt's a Southern boy (by way of GA), so this is his real home turf. Also, the more derpity people here in the South (the types that see the Civil War as the "War of Northern Aggression") tend not to look at Northerners (which Mitt is) too favorable to begin with; I have no doubt some are calling Mitt a "carpetbagger" or worse.

my parents in SC drop the "Yankee" thing more than you can imagine.
