Sarah Palin: Chris Christie Has His ‘Panties in a Wad’

Pure class
Wingnuts • Views: 25,795

Yesterday on Meet the Press, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie called Newt Gingrich an embarrassment to the GOP, and today he continued in this vein, describing Gingrich as an “influence peddler.”

Sarah Palin, with her usual taste and class, responded by accusing Christie of getting his “panties in a wad.”

“Poor Chris, this is a rookie mistake. He played right into the media’s hands,” Fmr. Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) said about NJ Gov. Chris Christie calling Newt Gingrich an “embarrassment” to the party.

“Sometimes, if your candidate loses in just one step along this path, as was the case when Romney lost to Newt the other night. And of course, Romney is Chris Christie’s guy, well you kind of get your panties in a wad and you may say things that you regret later and I think that is what Chris Christie did,” Palin added.

The schism is in full swing. The Tea Party's beginning to flex its muscles and the establishment is running scared. They thought it would be over and finished by now, with Romney all but crowned. Now, it looks like Newt could drag this out for months, possibly even win the nomination right out.

Not when you're looking at the wingnut blogs, no. They're dumb enough to think that all the ethics charges against Newt were just a librul plot, that anyone questioning him is either a RINO or a plant, and that he's actually capable of winning the White House.

They've spent months speed dating their way through a shitty slate of candidates dismissing each one as Not Conservative Enough and now they've got Newt, who they love the more that other people point out his flaws.

Well we officially have my Christmas disaster of the year. I think I mentioned this how last year around this given time period I lost my wallet which had around $50 in cash and a 100 in various gift cards, and the year before that I ended up losing my ipod.... this year... well I seem to have lost my copy of "The Onion Our Dumb World" which I can get another copy of on Amazon for about $5.

So yeah, all things considered between this and the GOP primary turning from something that Mitt Romney had in the bag into a freak free for all, things could be worse.

Now that Mitt's been established as the "establishment candidate" and Newt as the "anti-establishment candidate" by the wingnuts, his attacks going forward are just going to be seen as either A) the establishment fighting against the "true conservative" or B) Romney using Democrat talking points to attack the "true conservative."

Either way, it plays into Newt's status as the "victim" of it all, which will only boost him more.

Gregory Brice, Occupy L.A. Protester, Sentenced to 19 Months In Jail

According to prosecutors, Brice shoved a security guard to get into the Bank of America Plaza protest, then ran at a line of officers. When the officers attempted to arrest him, he threw punches and hit one cop in the face. As the cops took him to the ground, he continued to kick and punch the officers.

"He felt he was doing the right thing at that moment. They were there for a cause," said Brice's attorney, Nagmeh Shariatmadar. "He was hoping the jury would be on his side and they weren't."

Rookie mistake? Bwahahahahahahah! *snort* The dimwit clearly doesn't know Jersey politics. She's just looking for attention.

Gingrich/Palin 2012—haters & demagogues unite!

She & Newt want to cash in, that's what these asshats—with the help of the media they pretend to dislike—have turned our country's presidential race into: A cheesy county fair with a bunch of carnival barkers hawking their over-priced, rigged games and tickets to the "patriotic" sideshow.

"Step right up, all you Real Americans™! We'll show you how to take your country back! Hear the Amazing Flip-Flop Rubber Man switch his convictions by the minute! Feast your eyes on the Half-Newt Bog Monster* who can absorb any dirt your throw at him! Meet a real live Crazy Garden Gnome, captured in the Texas Hill Country by ranchers! Take your womenfolk over to see Grand Inquisitor Santorum—he'll make sure their virginity is intact and teach them where their place is: either barefoot & pregnant or dead on a motel room floor after hemorrhaging from a botched abortion!"

And all the idiot yokels come to gawk & throw away their money on sleazy entertainment and ingest a bunch sickening junk food, then they go home with their crappy little prizes believing that they've won something of value and that the carnies actually gave a shit about them. They didn't, you damned fools. As soon as they emptied your pockets, they counted up their profits, packed up their sideshow, and moved on to the next town of suckers without ever giving you a second thought.

Gawd, I am so effing disgusted right now I could puke.

*h/t to Frank. That was the best description of Gingrich evah!

I've been watching the Freepers lately. They're more hilarious than usual in their love for Newt. They love this guy, like he's the savior of True Conservatism or something.

For example:

Well if the Republican establishment is against him...that solidifies it for me!

GO NEWT!!
---

Go, Newt!! Rip the GOP-E a new one!!

Rebellion is on!!
---

Used to be Republicans would line up behind the front-runner to help their race.

This is the first time that I can remember where Republicans turned on the front-runner to help their race. Says a lot about the party and power in 2012.
---

Some Republicans should fear Newt. There are loads of these turds we call RINOs that need to have their butts kicked out.
---

Yada-Yada-Yada-Yada-Yada-Yada-Yada-Yada-Yada.
Bottom line; no Mitt Romney. Not now. Not never.
---

Another example:

Ann Coulter and the rest of the GOP elites on suicide watch!
---

I’m trying not to get too excited before I have a chance to analyze Romney’s new campaign tactics during tonight’s debate, but...wow, you’re making this difficult. I honestly didn’t think it would be so easy to shatter the “electability” myth.
---

Santorum needs to get out now. Newt is clearly the one to win and fix this mess.
The National polls are always about a week or more behind the faster, State primary polls. Romney is headed back to his usual 24%, while Santorum will soon run out of money and support, especially since he does not have the money or the organization to get in on the other states. He can't go much longer. We will soon see Santorum in single digits again before the week is done.

Which leaves Newt to go into steady 40% territory again and stay there. With the debates getting better and sharing record numbers of people watching, Newt will shine brightly in the hearts and minds of the hungry electorate. And I dare the MSM and Romney to try attack Newt on stage again. Romney will do his usual cowardly approach and stab Newt in the back again, but the electorate will not like him for it.

GO NEWT!
---

Was just watching Cavuto and his guests attacking Newt and preaching how he can’t win a national election. What is it with these morons, that they just don’t get it? Newt won S.C. on electability. They said women would be turned off to him and he won the women’s vote (granted it was a Republican election). I am totally confident Newt will win over independents and some democrats, not to mention Republicans will enthusiastically turn out for him.

don't know i you guys link to hot air or not but they have more of palin's statements regarding christie.

“I think if Chris were asked about some of his past actions, taking a state helicopter to his kid’s baseball game, some people may say, well, that sort of embarrassed your party, Chris. And he would then be on the receiving end of a comment that maybe he wished that somebody kept as an inside thought and not blasting that to the rest of the nation. He’s been in office a year or two is all, and he’ll learn that the media goad you. They want you to say things like that in order to boost ratings and make it more of a reality show-type scenario that we’re watching in the GOP primary. And a comment like that just kind of played right on into that narrative.”

but she wasn't goaded into saying this and didn't keep it as an "inside thought".

#firstDebateQuestion

-Mr. Gingrich, now that a little time has passed, can you answer John King's question?

-Show of hands: Who here believes Newt is a Washington outsider challenging the system?

-Mr. Gingrich, can you explain how, exactly, a President gives out food stamps?

I feel really really sad for the poor kids involved with the Cat that was killed today. The one in Alabama.

I hope the Aden Campaign pins it on his oppenent, whose father provided the address out over his radio show.

Looking forward to Mitt trying to act mean.

Here's a video of Mitt "The Streets" Romney keeping it real.

A second worry is making the computer
a)"Future-Proof"
b)Make the computer easier to modify later. I'd imagine this socket will last longer than the ones that have been out for years.

88 darthstar  Mon, Jan 23, 2012 5:26:45pm

Oh yeah...I almost forgot. That fucktard Santorum got a "John McCain" moment today where a woman said Obama was a Muslim with no right to be president, and the cocksucker didn't correct her.

I will also show this link on Radio Dead Air whill on the IRC tonight.

The response may be interesting.

Also, I imagine Anonymous is pissed to high hell. They've gone after people who have done much less to a cat.

Whoever this is will have to deal with the Dark Side of the Internet.

“Why do you guys ask these ‘gotcha’ questions, like it’s my job to go out and correct everybody who says something I don’t agree with?”

Yep...fucking sleazeball. It's his job as someone who wants to represent this country to the world to act like a decent human being...not someone who hopes to profit from birther bigots.

92 jaunte  Mon, Jan 23, 2012 5:29:32pm

Santorum: "Why do you guys expect me to act like a leader?"

Speaking of computers, I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas, because I'm just waiting on my tax rebate before going computer shopping. Be my first new computer in close to 6 years.

94 Amory Blaine  Mon, Jan 23, 2012 5:31:51pm

I don't think future proofing with this refresh will work. The only 6 core 2011 processor right now is over a thousand dollars. The new ones, coming out in~6 months will be mid range, so there is no upgrade path there. Leaving you out in the cold with a motherboard not really upgradeable. For less money, you could get a 26ook processor and oc the shit out of it. (I OC mine at 5.0 Ghz with no problems at all. Gaming is being held back by the aging consoles.

Interesting...I didn't realize KT wrote for ABC:

At the end of his town hall at an American Legion Hall here, several Occupy protesters screamed, “Mic check” and “Stop the hate!” while throwing glitter.

What makes someone who disagrees with Santorum's bigotry an "Occupy protester" anyway?

Hey! We can hold hands and go together skipping! I'm doing the same thing!

I don't plan on buying the parts to a little after graduation. So I might not be completely screwed on that yet.

However, what did you mean with "this refresh?"

As long as there is no skipping along, I think this could work.

Skipping is great exercise, and?

It's impossible to skip and be simultaneously unhappy.

Ask any scientist, he'll think you're an idiot.

Hmm, your argument sounds scientifically sound. Very well, it's agreed.

My wife loves to skip. At night, when we're walking home from dinner (unless we drive) she'll often grab my hand and say, "Let's skip!" I love that woman.

If you are looking for a spring/summer build then you are going to want to follow the news on Ivy Bridge. As these will be the new processors with trigate. They will be using this platform for about the next 2 years based on tick/tock development from the past.

Not sure if you are into it at all but that machine will run video editing really well. I built a good tower for that and gamers drool over it. Heh, they did last week, I suppose it's all passe now.

but she wasn't goaded into saying this and didn't keep it as an "inside thought".

Jesus. The woman had her own reality show.

Sarah is right. Christie erred in calling Gingrich an embarrassment to the GOP. Everyone knows that Palin owns that title.

On the other hand, Gingrich is an arrogant, sanctimonious, hypocritical, self-serving, condescending, race-baiting, morally-bankrupt and ethically-barren scam artist and master lobbyist -- making him the ideal candidate to represent the principles, values, and political agenda of the Republican Party.

108 Ming  Mon, Jan 23, 2012 9:34:51pm

I seem to recall that Gingrich recently said (on Fox, I think) that in his Administration, Sarah Palin would have a "major role".

She knows what side her bread is buttered on.

Yep, she'll be "drill baby drill" Secretary of Energy. She and President Gingrich can talk about their "big ideas" all day long, until the hospital attendants come by to give out the meds.

Like a fruitcake that gets passed around at Christmas. Nobody wants it, but it's a gift.
