Anonymous Hacks White Supremacist Site, Finds Direct Links to Ron Paul

Ron Paul’s connections to neo-Nazis revealed
Politics • Views: 79,250

The “anti-fascist” wing of the “Anonymous” hacker group has broken into a website run by the white supremacist American Third Position (A3P), and released a document dump consisting of private forum messages, emails, organizational notes, and other personal information.

The documents show numerous connections between Republican candidate Ron Paul and these racist Neanderthals; they’re heavily involved in campaigning for Paul, and according to the messages, have held regular meetings with Ron Paul himself: Ron Paul, the American Third Position Party and Stormfront.

Also revealed: Ron Paul has held meetings with A3P and Nick Griffin, leader of the British National Party — the notorious UK fascist group with neo-Nazi roots.

Ron Paul with white supremacists Don and Derek Black at the 2007 Values Voter debateMembers of the nationalist American Third Position Party (A3P), whose website was defaced by Anonymous, organised Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul’s meetings and campaigns, according to emails hacked by the collective.

Chairman of the British National Party (BNP) Nick Griffin also took part in meetings with Paul and other representatives of A3P.

“According to these messages, Ron Paul has regularly met with many A3P members, even engaging in conference calls with their board of directors,” read a statement from Anonymous.

Not directly related, but I have a sneaking suspicion that whoever the eventual GOP nominee is will run at least one campaign ad suggesting in non direct but obvious language that a good reason to vote for them is because they are NOT black.

The Hat Trick of Hate: Stormfront-->Ron Paul<-->Neturei Karta<-->Dinnerjacket

16 lawhawk  Wed, Feb 1, 2012 11:50:37am

None of this is particularly surprising considering his newsletters and all the links that have come out since the newsletters were made known in 2008. Yet, why is it that the IBD's UK news site the one breaking this news? Where's the US media on this?

And then, there's this devastating bit at the end, which tells you all you really ought to know about Paul:

Paul's connections with racist supporters have been highlighted by the media in America. Bill White, a former member of the neo-Nazi group the National Socialist Movement, became disillusioned with Paul after a spokesman for the Republican candidate called white supremacy "a small ideology".

Following the incident, he wrote on a popular white supremacist website: "Both Congressman Paul and his aides regularly meet with members of the Stormfront set, American Renaissance, the Institute for Historic Review, and others at the Tara Thai restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, usually on Wednesdays," he said. "I have attended these dinners, seen Paul and his aides there, and been invited to his offices in Washington to discuss policy."

"Paul is a white nationalist of the Stormfront type who has always kept his racial views and his views about world Judaism quiet because of his political position," he added.

Racist and anti-Semitic bigot knows how to spot 'em.

17 lawhawk  Wed, Feb 1, 2012 11:55:09am

Charles, btw, you might want to add this IBD link to the story above since it directly talks about the anonymous claims and what they found.

The group claims to be engaged in an ongoing campaign called Operation Blitzkrieg, which is aimed at attacking and exposing the websites of neo-Nazi organisations in Europe and the United States.

Oh, and thanks for the promotion of the AGW-WSJ article.

18 abolitionist  Wed, Feb 1, 2012 11:55:46am

Semi-off-topic, but I do worry that if the SOPA/PIPA/ACTA interests get their way, Stormfront (and Ron Paul, for example) might be in a position to easily quash bad press stories like this one, merely by making claims of "unauthorized use" of copyrighted materials --such as excerpts from Ron Paul's newsletters, photos, and news stories.

The American media always shy's away from stuff like this no matter how outrageous. Exposing this kind of stuff is just too divisive no matter how true it may be.

Bryan Fischer finally gets censored... for talking about Newt

Fischer, who is not one to apologize, began his radio show last month to by offering “my apologies for yesterday” for the “intensity” of his attacks on Gingrich over his marital affairs, and had his post labeling Gingrich “a serial adulterer” had been pulled off the AFA’s homepage.

For a radio host who constantly complains that Muslims, liberals and gays and lesbians are trying to suppress his views, it seems that the only one actually censoring Bryan Fischer is none other than his own employer.

re: #21 ralphieboy

That's probably part of it, or rolling back some of the hate speech laws so that these groups can operate more openly than they have over the past 20 years. Some of the hate groups also push economic policies that are in line with a libertarian perspective (though in White's case, he's all over the map ideologically other than when it comes to being a xenophobe, racist, and anti Semite), so that plays into things as well.

A3P uses an image of Charles Lindbergh and the Spirit of Saint Louis in their logo. They apparently have permission from the Lindbergh estate to do this.

As an aviator and aviation historian, this bothers me, but it is a fact of history that Lindbergh had racial ideas that were controversial at the time and would be beyond the pale today.

We can have peace and security only so long as we band together to preserve that most priceless possession, our inheritance of European blood, only so long as we guard ourselves against attack by foreign armies and dilution by foreign races.

Alabama State Senator Thinks Increasing Teacher Pay Goes Against A ‘Biblical Principle’

“If you double a teacher’s pay scale, you’ll attract people who aren’t called to teach.

“To go in and raise someone’s child for eight hours a day, or many people’s children for eight hours a day, requires a calling. It better be a calling in your life. I know I wouldn’t want to do it, OK?

“And these teachers that are called to teach, regardless of the pay scale, they would teach. It’s just in them to do. It’s the ability that God give ‘em. And there are also some teachers, it wouldn’t matter how much you would pay them, they would still perform to the same capacity.

“If you don’t keep that in balance, you’re going to attract people who are not called, who don’t need to be teaching our children. So, everything has a balance.”

I say lets cut this fucker's salary in half, kill his benefits, and see if he still feels the calling to serve in public office.

RT:
The Ron Paul-related super PAC Revolution missed FEC filing deadlines, claiming that its credit card company sent bad data and that it has to reconcile the reports.

A Super PAC supporting Ron Paul was the only major presidential fundraising operation to miss Tuesday's federal deadline for disclosing its donors. The Revolution PAC blamed an error by its credit card company.
Because of bad information provided by the company, the PAC told the Federal Election Commission, it didn't know who its donors were.
The Super PAC is not the same as the official campaign for Paul, a libertarian and Texas Republican member of Congress. The campaign filed its report on time, and by law the PAC can't coordinate its activities with the campaign, although the PAC is operated by Paul supporters, including his former political director.

"To Whom It May Concern," the Revolution PAC wrote to the FEC at 11:48 p.m. ET Tuesday, just 12 minutes before the midnight deadline for its legally required report.

"Please be advised that on the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan 31, Revolution PAC ... was advised by one of its credit card processing vendors that said vendor had provided erroneous information. As a result, credit card donations reported by the vendor and recorded by the PAC were erroneous.

I personally don't think Ron Paul is as much deliberately racist, as much as he has a completely tunnel-visioned ideology that makes him completely, ludicrously naive about the implications of whom he rubs shoulders with.

Either way, the thought of him getting anywhere near the White House is a scary prospect.

The weight of evidence goes against the claim that he's just managed to rub shoulders with former KKK, Stormfront, and other neo-Nazi, white supremacist, xenophobic, and other hate groups but doesn't share those views.

You really have to go out of your way to rub shoulders with those kinds of groups - and once you're made aware of those connections, you'd think that he would stop doing so.

He hasn't.

And he continues to utilize support from these groups in his ongoing 2012 campaign.

This is how sick the GOP is. There's a link from this article to another about how Republicans are against the federal government's import ban of pythons, saying it will hurt a small but thriving economy of snake breeders and retailers. I guess the devastation the pythons are inflicting on native species in the Everglades has no economic impact. Last year Missouri Republicans were up in arms over a bill to shut down puppy mills. Their disconnection from reality is stunning and does not bode well for this country.

I have felt for some time that Koman was little more than a marketing and branding effort, having long forgotten about the original good goals. All that pink ribbon crap was to sell products, not support women's health efforts and research.

That seems now to be pretty much proven.

I've always felt that many of these charities like Komen are quite the racket. The CEO of Komen is raking in close to $400,000 a year in salary. They made a big mistake with this decision and will likely lose a lot of contributions. From now on all of these "Race for a Cure" events will be seen as another anti-choice group coming through town.

A restaurant I went to while in college had their version of Green Goddess salad dressing called "Soylent Green". I ordered that for my salads in appreciation of the reference. And had to explain it to my friends, who thought it meant the salad dressing was made from soybeans thus would be tofu-flavored.

They lost their focus. It's now on collecting money, and using it to collect more money rather than collecting money and passing as large a percentage on as they can while maintaining some organization geared for collection.

I dealt with professional money raisers a few times while working as a volunteer for the fraternity. They can bring in some invaluable expertise and ideas, but they also often seem to have a disconnect to why you want to collect, and that your contributors are often more than simply some faceless resource to drain as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I associated with engineers and computer geeks. Often not broadly read or experienced at that age. Very good at math and general science, but generally were not readers beyond narrow fields, and practically none of them were foodies yet. (Pizza, mac and cheese, fast food, some Chinese food types.)

Tofu was an alien soybean substance. Though at least two of them ate it with Chinese food without realizing it. One commented afterwards that the chicken in brown sauce had seemed a bit odd.

I donate directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Personal connections with both unfortunately, but that makes the giving all the more important. At least with MSKCC, I know the money's going to the hospital facilities, research, and improving cancer care.

Cancer charities run the gamut on directing money to actual cancer research/treatment.

Charity Navigator helps sort out the good from bad charity, but in Sloan Kettering's case, it receives most of its funding from medical care program services rather than donations, and thus does not qualify for the Charity Navigator rating system.

A3P is definitely the upmarket end of the racist spectrum but it is every bit as hate-filled and myth-driven as any gang of skinheads or semi-literate Klansmen. It was only founded in 2010, but its chairman, Los Angeles attorney William Daniel Johnson, has a long history of extreme right, neo-nazi and racist agitation. In the 80s, he wrote a book advocating the so-called Pace amendment, an addle-brained attempt to enshrine popular racist notions in the law.

“No person shall be a citizen of the United States unless he is a non-Hispanic white of the European race, in whom there is no ascertainable trace of Negro blood, nor more than one-eighth Mongolian, Asian, Asia Minor, Middle Eastern, Semitic, Near Eastern, American Indian, Malay or other non-European or non-white blood, provided that Hispanic whites, defined as anyone with an Hispanic ancestor, may be citizens if, in addition to meeting the aforesaid ascertainable trace and percentage tests, they are in appearance indistinguishable from Americans whose ancestral home is in the British Isles or Northwestern Europe. Only citizens shall have the right and privilege to reside permanently in the United States.”

This laughable screed actually has a long-running fan base in racist circles and crops up at Storm Front meetings and the like.

Interestingly, Johnson was a Mormon missionary in Japan, speaks fluent Japanese, and specialized in export/import law in his legal practice.

There's a mirror of the hacked site up. It always boggles my mind how just plain stupid white supremacists are.

Subject: Thanks!
To: JamesinUSA (jameshallman@hotmail.com)
From: Aisling (niata@hushmail.com)

Hi James, It's really good to hear from you! I appreciate you writing back; you guys (WNN and Stormfront) are the closest thing I have to friends who share my beliefs. Trust me, it doesn't mean a thing to be surrounded by White people if those White people are anti-White. Just yesterday, one of my White co-workers was on the 'net (at work, no less) reading some article about a White woman who posted a "Whites only" sign at her pool. She turned to our Black co-worker and said, "Can you believe there are people like that in this time?" She was implying that it is "backward" or something for White people to not want Blacks around. My Black co-worker got this smug look on her face and said, "That's not going to fly
today." I jumped up, grabbed my student, and left the room because I was so close to popping off at them (and probably losing my job in the process). Can they honestly not see their hypocrisy? Blacks have a plethora of things that are just for them, things that exclude White people. Yet, they want to deny us our right of freedom of association. And I just cannot understand why White people would side with the Blacks over their own. Why do you think they have no loyalty to their fellow Whites? Can brainwashing really be that strong?

I feel for you; it has to be hard to work in a place like yours. I believe that all pro-White people have a tough time in our anti-White society, but White males probably have it the worst. How do you deal with the stress? I'm not handling it very well. Some days it is incredibly hard to go into work, knowing that someone (White, Black, or Mexican) is highly likely to make some anti-White comment and knowing that if I say anything, I could lose my only source of income. I just wish I knew how to go about our goal of establishing our own all-White nations. I don't know if there are enough pro-White people in this country to get some pro-White politicians elected. I'm hoping that most White people aren't like the ones that you and I work with every day. I'm hoping that most of them see the problems the non-Whites, especially the Blacks, cause and they want to separate as much as we do. I apologize for the length of this. That incident with my two co-workers has really bothered me, and I don't have anyone but you guys to talk to about it. Thanks for reading :) and for giving me the web site for the A3P.

I'm trying to get rid of a virus on my PC right now, but as soon as I'm done with that, I want to check the site out. Have a good night (or day)! Brandi

Please note that the bit at the end is a very old news, and probably has been covered at LGF as well. Long story short, Bill White is such a delusional twit that nothing he says can be trusted, even when he accuses Paul. Better to stick to what the emails reveal, as well as other authentic evidences (newsletters etc.).

128 Shiplord Kirel  Wed, Feb 1, 2012 1:19:40pm

Future A3P chairman Johnson ran for the LA Superior Court in 2008 and initially received a public endorsement from Ron Paul. This was withdrawn in the face of revelations about Johnson's many racist activities and associations.
Ron Paul statement on the Bill Johnson campaign, and more

(from Paul Congressional chief of staff Tom Lizardo) Over the past several weeks, I have also been involved in assisting Dr Paul with the consideration of candidates who are seeking his endorsement for their campaigns. We have gone through the process of setting up a method by which candidates are to be considered for such endorsements. During that period, we have also received and reviewed requests from dozens of candidates.

Although Bill Johnson's name ended up on the endorsement list, he did not go through this process. In light of this fact, and in light of the revelations regarding his past statements and associations, Dr Paul has retracted the endorsement and hopes that, in the future, the process that has been put into place will mitigate the likelihood of similar errors.

A new political party, the American Third Position (A3P), is stepping forward with honest and rational answers. During Ron Paul’s 2008 campaign events, and patriot meetings since, I was privileged to get to know several of the A3P’s future party leaders and came to respect their courage and vision. Top Gingrich Adviser: Democrats Abort Black Babies

Last night, Gingrich’s most prominent surrogate, former Communications Director Rick Tyler, went on the offensive during an MSNBC interview with Rachel Maddow and the Rev. Al Sharpton when asked about his candidate’s racial rhetoric. He accused the anchors of “race-baiting,” and claimed Democrats are hurting African-Americans:

TYLER: It’s baloney. MSNBC ought to get off this race-baiting kick…The Republican Party was founded by Abraham Lincoln…this was started as a civil rights party. If you go back to the 1856 Democratic platform it’s a racist platform…The Democratic Party — you can ask Al Sharpton about that, I think he would agree that the Democrats have failed in the public schools with the African-Americans. They abort their babies. They’ve done nothing to lift them out of poverty.

“Hopefully by mid to the latter part of 2013 we’ll be able to make a transition from a combat role to a training, advise and assist role,” Panetta said. His comment, while en route to Brussels for a NATO meeting, was confirmed to CNN by a defense official.

OT:

SD Indian Tribe sues over right to early vote. The Pine Ridge Reservation is getting only 6 days of early voting, compared with 46 days elsewhere in state.

This month, members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe went to court. In the upcoming presidential balloting, tribal members will have only six days of early voting, when the rest of the state has 46 days to cast early ballots in the primary and general elections.

Filed in federal court this month, the lawsuit contends the disparity is discriminatory, and amounts to “a denial of the right to vote.” One civic group has branded the state’s practice “a back door poll tax.”

The Oglalas’ complaint names state and county officials, including Jason Gant, secretary of state and overseer of elections for South Dakota, and the commissioners of Shannon County, which is roughly contiguous with the Oglala’s Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and oversees state and national elections there.

“I understand why the plaintiffs want what every other citizen gets, but we’re simply out of money,” said the head of Shannon County’s commission, Lyla Hutchison.

Gant’s official website shows he is not just secretary of state but treasurer of Committed to Victory, a PAC whose purpose is “to elect Republican candidates,” according to documents Gant (as treasurer) submitted to Gant (as secretary of state) in 2011. The website also shows Shannon County with 10 times as many Democrats as Republicans. Of 7,683 registered voters, 5,890 are Democrats; another 588 are Republicans. The rest are mostly Independents.

If you've ever gone to the Badlands/Petrified Forest NP, Wounded Knee, Mount Rushmore, or the towns in and around Rapid City, then you've probably driven past or through the Pine Ridge Reservation.

Part of the suit relates to Gant, who is a GOPer, and may be purposefully reducing the vote on a heavily Democratic county/reservation.

The state's actions against the tribe have been reprehensible, and claiming that they're out of money is asinine and appears that the state is once again violating any number of laws, including the Equal Protection Clause.

Rep. Speier Pulls Support From Breast Cancer Foundation Over Decision To Sever Ties With Planned Parenthood

Today on the House floor, Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) — a “big booster” for the foundation and a participant in its iconic Race for the Cure event — announced that she would no longer support the organization over it’s decision.

Noting that the foundation based their decision to sever ties on anti-choice advocate Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) “spurious congressional investigation” into Planned Parenthood, Speier blasted Komen for falling into the trap of a “political sandbox.” “A hearing has never been held,” she noted. “I guess it means that Susan G. Komen has become a 501(d)(4), because no longer do they want to be providing nonprofits, they want to become a political advocacy group,” she said.

Speier also pointed out the particular irony of another nearly simultaneous statement from the Komen foundation noting that the rate of breast cancer screening for women without insurance is around 38 percent. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood provided 700,000 screenings for low-income and uninsured women last year alone. By bowing to right-wing fear-mongering, Komen is helping to cripple one of its own key efforts.

The only reason that Ron Paul is able to get this far is because he - a qualified gynaecologist - is actually intelligent (even if his worldview is dumb). The typical far-right racist is seldom a political threat because he/she is a low-IQ thug who cannot string a coherent sentence together, and is too dumb / too un-savvy to keep their views hidden. Ron Paul, on the other hand, has a respectable profession and respectable private life. He does a fairly decent job keeping racism (in particular, anti-Semitism) well hidden beneath a well-rehearsed firewall of libertarian claptrap. Apart from getting caught out opposing the Civil Rights Act (his hard-core "libertarianism" doesn't leave any choice), he rarely makes a serious error in front of media. The far-right base know exactly where he stands - which is why they support him; meanwhile, the naive college kids get sucked in by the pro-weed, anti-authority (read: anarchist) message, lacking the life experience to know why his program of undoing every progress of the 20th century will not work.

Alabama immigration crackdown costs state up to $11 bln

Alabama's crackdown on illegal immigrants, widely seen as the toughest in the United States, has cost the state's economy up to $10.8 billion, according to a new study.

The Alabama law, passed in June, requires police to detain people they suspect of being in the U.S. illegally if they cannot produce proper documentation when stopped for any reason, among other measures.

The cost-benefit analysis by University of Alabama economist Samuel Addy estimated up to 80,000 jobs were vacated by illegal immigrants fleeing the crackdown, costing Alabama's economy up to $10.8 billion.

The lost jobs also cost Alabama up to $264.5 million in lost state sales and income taxes, and as much as $93.1 million in lost city and county sales taxes, it found.

I won't support regulations on Sugar in a million years.

Just eat it in Moderation, not that hard.

A million years is about what it might take to wean us from sweets. Sugar, like dietary fat, was a "good" thing for most of human history but has now been rendered "bad" by the over-abundance created by material progress. In tribal times; that is, most of human history; people were usually malnourished and had to struggle constantly for enough calories to keep them going. Sugar, in the broad sense, supplied quick energy. Similarly, fat provided quick energy and was easily stored as a hedge against lean times, which could be very lean indeed in the old days. It was also in short supply since wild game was, and still is, relatively low in fat. Our bodies therefore evolved to crave these substances, since a proclivity for finding them could enhance survival.
Evolution, in turn, trails marketing and production by quite a bit. We still have the taste for sugar and fat, but the need has largely disappeared.

I owe my existence to my father's distaste for farm work. In 1940, when he was 18, he saw an ad for the Army Air Corps. He liked the nifty clothes and it looked easier than chopping cotton so he signed up. Some time later, he was stationed in Texas and met a local girl. She was to his liking, and he to hers. They got married and I was born in England while my dad was stationed there in 1949.

Why would Americans work for minimum wage and no benefits on a hot sweaty farm, when they can work for no-benefits for minimum wage in an air conditioned Wal-Mart?

Actually had a wingnut tell me, when the initial stories came out about farmers not being able to find anybody willing to do the work, that the government of Alabama should address it by "offering" jobs at the farms to those on unemployment, then kicking those who turned down the "offer" off the rolls for "refusing to work."

I asked what the farms should do about the elderly and disabled folks who are collecting unemployment. His response? "Make'em drive/ride on the trucks! Have them pick fruit from a chair! They'll find a job for them on the farms!"

Newt Gingrich’s campaign paid him $47,000 for a list of supporters and paid one of his companies another $67,000 for web hosting, according to a report filed Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission.

The report paints a picture of a campaign that is working to professionalize, but continues to be based in part around the candidate himself and the network of companies and non-profits that he built after leaving Congress.

Valid as can be. The tithe is a bit controversial in the church too. Not whether to, but what level your obligation is. There is a progressive expectation, that is the rich are expected to put up more than a struggling middle class big family. Movie playing in my head right now:

Two massive armies face off.

On one side, the soldiers of the Zionist White Horse Caliphate. Naturally, they all ride white horses and they have a flag with a horse head silhouette, a crescent moon, and a star of David on it.

On the other side is a eclectic mix of evangelicals, hate preachers, counter-jihadists, white nationalists, militiamen, and scared old folks. They carry a modified version of the Gadsden flag—it has a newt on it instead of a snake, of course. They all wear tricorne hats.

Unbeknownst to the two armies, there are atheist/secular/pagan insurgents hiding behind trees, in bushes, in trenches covered with leaves & branches. The armies advance...*

319 ProGunLiberal  Wed, Feb 1, 2012 4:16:59pm

The Death Toll from the Port Said Football riot is now 73.

From Wikipedia on the cause:

As reported by the New York Times, a prime factor in the lethal riots was the involvement by ultras, said to be extreme sports fans who also have been instigators of political violence. The ultras are said to be profane, boisterous, and prone to unpredictable behavior, often committing attacks against police. The group was involved in the initial protests that brought down the government of former president Hosni Mubarak and have engaged in several clashes with dozens of fatalities in Tahrir Square. Additionally, ultras are blamed in an attack on the Israeli Embassy in Cairo.

So....basically militant sports fans are responsible for much of the bad turbulence in Egypt in the last year? (Barring the attacks on Christians and Sufis by Salafists)

Valid as can be. The tithe is a bit controversial in the church too. Not whether to, but what level your obligation is. There is a progressive expectation, that is the rich are expected to put up more than a struggling middle class big family. On his taxes, I guess we can get mad at any and all of the super rich that only pay what the law calls for. Or will we bother with the wealthy that don't run for office?

GTG my commute awaits, and out with family tonight.

There is nothing wrong with paying the legally allowed tax. What is wrong is claiming that this is a fair tax, particularly if, as you suggest, his church which receives even more from him has an expectation of fairness that amounts to a progressive tax on the wealthy.

re: #339 CuriousLurker

I do, I just saw the Wikipedia Article and summary of the Football Riots in Egypt and became disappoint.

Was talking to a friend today who is Muslim. I went out to buy a birthday card for a friend in Colorado. The situation is a bit unusual here. I've known this friend for about 6-7 years. I am very comfortable around her.

The awkward comes in because she fits the personality my mother said would probably be necessary for deeper relationship. Having Asperger's Syndrome does narrow the number of people down, because most will write me off as weird. It helps we share an odd interest (History).

Not only that, but when talking with her before winter break (this was before she found out she was student teaching this semester, which ate half of it), when asked if she wanted to go swimming (I like swimming, and love the smell of chlorine.), she said "It sounds like you want to have fun." The girl I talked to today when getting the card said that the only two ways to interpret that would be a) Thinks of me like family in some way, and is very comfortable around me or b) Has romantic feelings of a sort. This compounded by the fact that, to use an ethnic-religious analogy, she is Croatian, I am Bosnian. But I have heard that in one direction, those sorts of relationships are okay.

You probably see the last issue here. Which goes to this. How do I do relationships being Muslim. I know Dating is a no-no, but beyond that, I am really, really fuzzy. Thanks for help.

Disclaimer: This is only my opinion based on my imperfect knowledge. To get a more Islamically sound, definitive answer, you should seek out an trusted imam in your area who can counsel you personally.

---

Dating isn't necessarily forbidden, per se. What's forbidden is being alone with a woman (like in a room, just the two of you, with the door shut) or having sexual contact with her.

That said, there's what's practical and what's practicable for American Muslims. We don't usually have the extended family or community ties that exist in other places where Islam is practiced.

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to go out in public with her, either just the two of you or in a group. Nothing wrong or un-Islamic about that, IMO, as long as you behave yourselves.

But—and this is a big BUT—if you're going to do that it should be with the purpose of getting to know her as a potential wife, not just to date for the sake of dating. Neither one of you should see anyone else while you're seeing each other as hearts are involved and feelings could get hurt on both sides—i.e. it's something you need to approach with seriousness & respect (for her and yourself).

If you're not emotionally or financially ready for that level of seriousness, then you need to step back until you are.

As the earth warms up, it's going to be ever more important to have clean sources of fresh water. Maybe more important than hydrocarbon fuels. If the fracking process really is a cause of groundwater pollution, we need to know for sure, quickly.

All you have to do is imagine what will happen when the glaciers disappear to see how important clean fresh water will become.

Evening Lizardim. I don't particularly like Anonymous; here in the States, they tend to be a bunch of disgusting, foul, loathsome trolls and are one of America's premier purveyors of child pornography. That being said, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Sound advice. This strategy has kept me single for going on 6 years now. Eventually the ol' libido and even the desire for simple human contact just dries up and falls right off. You'll never even miss it.

Such a positive message. You really are misnamed.

Luckily, GOP congress hopefuls aren't worried about fracking or fresh water, they are focused like a laser on job 1:

Make no mistake, the part about Potential Wife is the thing on my mind. Long-Term is all on my mind in that regard.

Three Fold is a bit low.

Something like just 30-40 quakes between 1970-to-2000ish.

Now, it's happening fairly often.
