Rest in peace, Whitney Houston. A beautiful woman with a truly huge gift for singing, but a sad, sad life.
Whitney Houston via ShutterstockI was in a recording studio doing a session when I first heard Whitney Houston sing — we were on a break, watching TV, and her first MTV video came on. I remember being blown away by how bright and positive and full of life she was — and that amazing voice.
It’s so sad that she couldn’t find a way to defeat her demons.
