Right Wing Blogs Still Stalking and Spewing Hatred at Sandra Fluke

In the gutter
Wingnuts • Views: 33,532

Rush Limbaugh may have gotten himself in trouble with his disgusting misogynistic attacks on law student Sandra Fluke (who committed the unpardonable sin of testifying about women’s health insurance needs), but the right wing blogosphere is still spewing hatred at Fluke like an out of control firehose.

And not just hatred — they’ve now graduated to stalking her, digging into her private life like evil little ferrets.

Today’s example of how low the right will go comes from Tea Party loon “Brooks Bayne,” who apparently has more than 100,000 Twitter followers, and has discovered the damning fact that Sandra Fluke’s boyfriend is … a Jew. Worse than that … a socialist Jew. A rich socialist Jew. The worst kind of Jew: Sandra Fluke’s Boyfriend, Adam “Cutie Pants” Mutterperl, and His Radical Socialist Family | the Graph.

Anyway, on to Adam’s “typical Democrat family”. The term BIll O’Reilly used to describe Bill Mutterperl is “Democratic stalwart”. However, as soon as I heard his name in a story about Sandra Fluke, I almost choked, due to my sudden epiphany. Why? Because anyone familiar with Boston and New York political history knows about the wealthy Mutterperl family’s long tradition of supporting the typical Jewish variant of socialism. Bill Mutterperl’s family are much more than Democratic stalwarts.
I’ll let Woody Allen give you the basic overview:

(Transcript of the video clip: “What’s your name… Allison… You’re like New York Jewish, left-wing, intellectual, Central Park West, Brandeis University, socialist summer camps and the father with the Ben Shahn drawings, really strike-oriented. Stop me before I make a complete imbecile of myself… No, that was wonderful! I love being reduced to a cultural stereotype.”)
Allen’s description probably describes Adam’s childhood, right down to the Ben Shahn drawings. I wonder if Adam has ever been to a kibbutz.

Can the right wing possibly get any more despicable?

Actually, yes. There’s always the Internet’s Dumbest, Most Hateful Wingnut, Jim Hoft: Poor Sandra Fluke… She Wants You to Pay for Her $9/Month Birth Control as She Frolics in Spain & Pompeii | the Gateway Pundit.

And of course, Dan Riehl always likes to get in on the hatin’: No Wonder Sandra Fluke Needs So Many Contraceptives.

And let’s not forget the knuckle-draggers at Jawa Report, who can always be counted on to plumb the depths of the right wing sewer: I’m Boinking Sandra Fluke UPDATE: #JollyGreenCondomsCondom.

Horrible people, in every sense of the word.

No wonder these people don't like the idea of contraceptives. Their personalities do the job for them.

Utterly repellent.

2 Kragar  Thu, Mar 15, 2012 11:10:46am

I don't suppose any of them could actually point to the section of her testimony where she said she used contraception or needed assistance paying for her own contraception?

Yeah, that is what I thought.

So now they've graduated from just tossing misogynistic attacks at Ms. Fluke to adding massively anti-Semitic attacks against her boyfriend. I wonder which group they'll go after next in relation to this? It's so exciting! We need to start a pool. I say...a lesbian Chinese-American friend.

It stopped being about her testimony the moment Rush the Hutt sounded the charge. Now it's the politics of personal destruction running at top speed, attempting to destroy Fluke in such a complete and vivid manner that it serves as a "warning" to other women who might choose to come forward in the future.

In a way, I almost feel I need to thank Rush for helping totally derail the "religious freedom" argument with his spewing and allowing the discussion to be properly re-centered on women's health. Almost.

This would be like going after Rush Limbaugh's wife, his parents and/or his in-laws. Is this the route that the right-wingers want to take in "debating" their opponents? Guttural trash worthy of a Latin American military dictatorship? Are these the new rules? Smearing families instead of debating issues? Is this a "family value?"

Sandra’s connection to this particular Jewish-American socialist dynasty is a “little” secret that they don’t want you to know. Which begs the question… if you’re so connected to the Mutterperl family, Sandra, why not go to Brandeis, a school much more aligned with your worldview, instead of Georgetown University, a Catholic Jesuit school? Are you admitting that a Christian school is better than a neo-Marxist school, or is there some other agenda?

heh

No need to thank him, but it ws actually a fortuitous turn of events. It showed that the right-wing shouting is no longer a controllable force, once the genie is let out of the bottle the foul vapors will spread everywhere.

I seem to remember that it all started with an article that I saw linked here, which I at first took to be an Onion parody, calling fluke a sex-crazed skank. Rush just picked up the ball and ran with it.

And in doing so exposed the entire agenda behind recent anti abortion/contraception legislation.

The following is from the quote (of the right-wing blog) in the LGF post:

"Anyway, on to Adam’s “typical Democrat family”. The term Bill O’Reilly used to describe Bill Mutterperl is “Democratic stalwart”."

This is one of my pet peeves. A few years ago, I remember seeing political consultant Frank Luntz on Fox News. He was explaining his latest contribution to our politics: in his research, people thought badly of the Democratic Party when the adjective was "Democrat", instead of the correct "Democratic". As he explained to the TV audience, the reason was the association with the word "rat".

As we see in the quote above, the right-wing blog used the incorrect "Democrat", while Bill O'Reilly (perhaps forgetting the wisdom of Frank Luntz) used the correct "Democratic".

I recently saw a "pundit" on CNN slip in the phrase "Democrat Congress", and I immediately reminded myself that I don't watch CNN when the pundits are on, and changed the channel.

This is why I am in disagreement with a few who are calling for the FCC to get Rush off the air due to his hate speech. He's doing a wonderful service with his verbal diarrhea exposing the true rightwing agendas. I do want to see him and those like him mocked, ridiculed, and shunned for their fucktardery and lies. I would be delighted if that public pressure and refusal to any longer tolerate the hateful rhetoric that has so harmed our political environment in the past 20 years drove them far away from the public airways.

CONCORD, N.H. -

A state lawmaker opposed to repealing New Hampshire's gay marriage law plans to offer a tongue-in-cheek amendment to the repeal bill when it comes up for a vote next week that would bar a left-handed person from marrying another left-handed person.

Yeah. Threw me off. We've been seeing a lot of these things this year.

Ah he's just fucking with the thing. I was gonna say, are there seriously people who believe left handed people are sinister these days?

Not just that, but a Republican lawmaker! One that apparently understands he's in New Hampshire.

Notwithstanding what her actual testimony was, and notwithstanding that it would be insurers not taxpayers footing the bills, wouldn't the relatively low cost of BC (as Hoft is aledging) mean that insurers wouldn't be paying all that much to provide it? I'm really not understanding the anger and vitriol here in general, and that directed towards Ms. Fluke especially.

Because people like Jim Hoft thrive on fake outrages.

Somebody should ask Mitt, in light of his acceptance in 2007 of the endorsement of Bob Jones III, the (now former) head of the notoriously racist Bob Jones U that ended anti-interracial dating policy only in 2000.

More here:

GOPer Seth Cohn Warns Against Repeal Of New Hampshire Gay Marriage Law

New Hampshire State Rep. Seth Cohn has warned against repeal of New Hampshire's gay marriage law, The New York Times reported.

In 2009, Democrats legalized gay marriage in the state. The following year, Republicans gained control of the House and Senate, and the law came under constant threat of repeal.

However, not all Republicans are on board with making New Hampshire the first state to legislatively overturn a gay marriage law...

Teh Stupid It Burns!1!

I am so fucking sick of this meme. Sandra Fluke SAID NOTHING about how much her own oral contraceptives cost, or about requiring her own health insurance (NOT THE FREAKING TAXPAYER) to cover the cost. She was talking about a female acquaintance who needed to take a non-generic course of hormone medication for treatment of ovarian cysts.

AAAAARRRGGHH!

Speaking of which, isn't it just plain sad that Romney's most passionate moment during this campaign has been defending corporations? That's really sad.

I've been very successful. I've made lots of money. I'm not gonna apologize for that

I need to ask my uncle about that. I'm the only left hander in my immediate family. I love it. Made me a much better baseball pitcher than if I were right handed.
