CNN’s Anderson Cooper had a very interesting segment last night on the possible racial slur in the 911 call George Zimmerman made to police before Trayvon Martin died.

Many people believe Zimmerman muttered “these fucking coons.” CNN used state of the art audio editing equipment to clean up the recording as much as possible; the result may not be definitive, but although I was initially skeptical, after hearing this I’m pretty convinced that Zimmerman did indeed use the racial slur.
