Breitbart.com’s Dan Riehl Blames Obama for Random Twitter Posts, Commenters Spew Hatred

More derp from Dan
Wingnuts • Views: 33,531

In the strange logic-deprived world of breitbart.com blogger Dan Riehl, Barack Obama is somehow to blame for a Twitter account with the name “Kill Zimmerman:” Blame Palin? ‘Kill Zimmerman’ Twitter Account Launched.

Here’s Dan “Darker is Guiltier” Riehl, connecting the dots:

DERPBarack Obama has remained silent as the usual suspects have been busy stirring up hate aimed at George Zimmerman, the Florida Hispanic involved in the shooting death of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin. Now the anger has taken a new twist, breaking out on Twitter with an account named “Kill Zimmerman.” It features an image of Zimmerman in crosshairs.

After the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords, a political ad associated with Palin and featuring a cross-hairs focused on Gifford’s District, the issue of the ad rose to the level of national debate… Perhaps they’ll blame Palin for this latest use of a cross-hairs, as well.

Notice that Riehl is now calling Zimmerman a “Florida Hispanic,” because remember — to a wingnut, Hispanics simply can never be “white,” and it’s important to stress that point in every rant.

The “Kill Zimmerman” account is disgraceful, of course, and Twitter will very probably suspend it soon for violation of their terms of service. But drawing a line between this nutjob and “Barack Obama remaining silent,” and implying that the President is responsible for denouncing every random Twitter account is the kind of loony rhetoric we’ve come to expect from Riehl, an unabashed racist with a severe case of Obama Derangement Syndrome.

Meanwhile, the commenters for Riehl’s post at breitbart.com are… you guessed it… spewing racism and crazy conspiracy theories about “race war” again.

a favorite negro saying”cant we’ss jus gets along??’when they get caught in crimes after rodney king debacle, for white folks though, etc.bring out the lynch mobs???

[…]

The way it is looking, the only way Obama gets to stay president is if their is no election in November. Civil War anyone?

[…]

Been saying that for awhile. A race war is what the left wants and rule by elites. I live in the most racist city in America. If you are not black, don’t bother doing anything other than paying taxes and dying.

[…]

The Obama psy-ops continue, driving us toward civil war. And the media thinks that would be a good show for them, do they?

[…]

the liberals rioters will soon turn to murderers, Holder and Obama will remain silent.

That is, until someone tries to fight back. Wait till the retaliation bounties start going out for all the race pimps. Wait till the race pimps who have been calling for blood finally get it, and then become the targets of the targeted. Holder will then mobilize thousands of federal agents who will rain down to calm the uproar by arresting those of us who refuse to let the race pimps mark us for death.

[…]

Correct. Soon enough the hunters become the hunted. They are out numbered and needless to say, out gunned.
I like the Obama hoodies. I. D.’s the target as a hostile.
Even comes with a desired bullet impact designation.

[…]

The Democrats truly have a deep-seated desire to hate—proving they are mentally ill or at the very least, unable to reason.

[…]

He still has the blood on his hands of those ICE Agents who were killed in Fast And Furious and neither he nor Holder has satisfied Representative Darrel Issa yet. Obama also has the blood on his hands of Usama and methinks that Obama wants to win another 4 years becase there are probably 600 million radical Muslims who didn’t want to see Usama put down, so instead of Run Obama Run, it’s going to be “Run Obama, run” and he’ll be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life.

[…]

Could the president be charged with conspiracy to commit a hate crime for trying to stir up a race war?

[…]

Doj and dear leader are waiting for the race riots to break out so they can impose martial law. At least that’s my take on it.

[…]

Here’s the crazy thing—3 years ago people were saying that Obama would divide this country and impose martial law. Those people were laughed at and accused of racism. But over time, we’ve had #ObamasOWS, then the “War on Women” and now the ginning up of “race wars”—with bounties out up by the Black Panthers and Spike Lee tweeting addresses!! This is a vindication to all those who were laughed at three years ago. It is OBVIOUS to me that Obama is behind ALL of this—from #OWS, Sandra Fluke and certainly Spike Lee (he held a fundraiser for him in Jan.).

Obama will take this country down to win this election. He hates America, that’s pretty clear now.

To restate the obvious, some very disturbed people post comments at breitbart.com — because the articles posted by people like Dan Riehl are just as disturbed.

ODS is pretty easy to boil down when it comes to things like this: "Obama's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't."

What's a "Florida Hispanic?" Is that like a "Florida German?" No wait! I know. It's their way of telling their audience "he's not Mexican" he's a "Florida Hispanic" which means Cuban American! He's a Democrat but he's "one of us." Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

What's next, "Illinois Hispanics?"

These people are very odd.

Remember, when someone on the other side does something reprehensible, it means that everyone on the other side thinks it.

When someone on your side does something reprehensible, he was a lone wolf who had no real affiliation to your side.

Ironic that Riehl gives his readers an "Extreme content warning for language," for the twitter account, but not for his own comment section. I guess he sees no need to warn of vulgar racism.

Santorum To ThinkProgress: ‘The Only Reason You Don’t Have A Voter ID Is You Want To Continue To Perpetrate Fraud’

SANTORUM: I think that’s a state issue. I support voter ID. In my opinion, the only reason you don’t have a voter ID is you want to continue to perpetrate fraud.

KEYES: What about folks who don’t have access to a voter ID though?

SANTORUM: As you know, in every state they allow free access to free voter ID, so it’s not a problem.
...
Here are just a few people that Santorum believes “perpetrate fraud.” Dorothy Cooper, a 96 year-old African American woman from Tennessee who was denied a voter ID because she didn’t have a copy of her marriage certificate. She said the ordeal was worse than anything she’d experienced in the Jim Crow era. Ruthelle Frank, an 84 year-old Wisconsin woman, who may be forced to pay as much as $200 to get the proper documents for a voter ID, despite the Constitution’s prohibition on charging citizens a fee to vote. A Texas resident named Jessica Cohen also finds herself unable to obtain the necessary documents for a voter ID after she lost her identification in a robbery. These are just three of the more than 23 million people committing voter fraud in Santorum’s mind.

Robert Spencer Questions Loyalty Of Top CIA Counterterror Official

The long Washington Post profile this weekend of a top Central Intelligence Agency official contained a remarkable number of details about the man that heads the Agency’s Counterterrorism Center — remarkable because the man remained shrouded in mystery, referenced only by the first name of his cover identity, “Roger.” Roger chain smokes, swears, worked in Africa, was “pudgy” in his youth, and — oh, yeah — he’s Muslim.

This last fact was too much for one of America’s foremost Islamophobes to bear: to an Islamophobe, Islamic extremist terrorism is inseparable from Islam at large, so how could a Muslim head up a counter-terrorism operation? Leave aside that Roger presides over a CIA unit that he expanded from three unmanned drone aircraft to an entire fleet firing missiles that have crippled militant networks — including Al Qaeda — in Pakistan.

Leave aside that Roger presides over a CIA unit that he brought from having three unmanned drone aircraft to a fleet of them that fire myriad missiles which crippled militant networks — including Al Qaeda — in Pakistan. Never mind that retired Gen. David Petraeus, who now heads up the CIA, said of Roger: “No officer in the agency has been more relentless, focused, or committed to the fight against al-Qaeda than has the chief of the Counterterrorism Center.”

None of that was enough to convince Robert Spencer, a long-time ally of anti-Muslim mainstay Pamela Geller, that “Roger” just might be a Manchurian candidate foisted upon the CIA by Muslim extremists looking to destroy America:

Study: Conservative trust in science has been declining for 40 years

But here's a really telling piece of information from the article:

In 2008, half of all conservatives believed in climate change. By 2010, only a third did, compared to more than 70 percent of liberals, according to a Gallup poll.

That's a 17 percent drop in just TWO years.

Got some bad news for the warhawks:

Haaretz: Israel's plan to attack Iran put on hold until next year at the earliest

At 8:58 P.M. on Tuesday, Israel's 2012 war against Iran came to a quiet end. The capricious plans for a huge aerial attack were returned to the deep recesses of safes and hearts. The war may not have been canceled but it has certainly been postponed. For a while, at least, we can sound the all clear: It won't happen this year. Until further notice, Israel Air Force Flight 007 will not be taking off.

According to a war simulation conducted by the U.S. Central Command, the Iranians could kill 200 Americans with a single missile response to an Israeli attack. An investigative committee would not spare any admiral or general, minister or president. The meaning of this U.S. scenario is that the blood of these 200 would be on Israel's hands.

The moment the public dispute over whether to attack Iran is put in those terms, Israel has no real option to attack in contravention of American declarations and warnings.

re: #64 Targetpractice

Having just returned from Israel, I call the whole notion that Israel was going to attack now or next year complete nonsense. Anyone who studies Israeli military history - or knows a thing or two about a minor issue called logistics would find all kinds of issues with announcing intentions to go after Iran's nuclear program.

Israel didn't broadcast its intentions before the Osirak raid. Nor did it announce it was going after Syria when it took out the Syrian nuclear processing facility. If Israel was to act, it would do so when everyone was least expecting it - maximizing the chances for success.

However, logistics dictates that an Israeli raid would be near impossible given the circumstances of any such raid - hitting multiple targets at a distance twice as far from Israel as the Iraqi raid, across hostile airspace and without knowing all potential underground nuclear sites. Israel would have to commit a serious portion of its air force to the raid - and most of the aircraft involved would be for refueling/buddy stores rather than carrying out the attack itself.

Well...Zimmerman has been tried and convicted in the press already of wantonly executing a boy on his way home with some skittles (because he was black). To find out that there are wanted posters offering a reward for his death in circulation and random twitter posts calling for his death is certainly no surprise.

As the facts slowly come out in this case it becomes more and more apparent that Zimmerman did indeed exercise racial profiling and extremely poor judgement in following and harassing Trayvon. What happened next however is not so clear, who started the final altercation, how did Zimmerman end up on the ground with Trayvon on top of him (witness testimony). When Zimmerman was calling for help (yes, it was Zimmerman and not Trayvon yelling for help according to witnesses on scene) was Zimmerman being beaten and did they later struggle for control of his gun (as his representatives claim)?

One party who could have testified is dead, the other has already been vilified so completely that anything he could say would be instantly dismissed as a self-serving lie. This case is not going to end to anyones satisfaction and the more it gets built up as page view fodder by both sides the more disgruntled people there will be when it soon becomes apparent that any meaningful prosecution in this case is nothing but a pipe dream.

I would really hate to see anyone else get hurt because of a violent response to the lack of perceived "Justice" in this case. Perhaps we might want to step back a foot or two, take a deep breath, and then re-examine the currently known facts again before continuing to call for Mr. Zimmermans conviction for murder.

Is it Zimmermans fault, yes. Did he racially profile, follow, and harass Trayvon, yes. Was it murder, given limited witness testimony (no one can yet testify as to how the physical altercation started), no, no it was not. :(
