Still More Overtly Racist Comments at Breitbart.com

Dan Riehl: “I believe in taking personal responsibility”
Wingnuts • Views: 30,352

NOT MY PROBLEMSince I posted yesterday about Dan Riehl’s ugly race-baiting article at breitbart.com and the deluge of overtly racist comments that followed, hundreds more comments have been posted there: Hoodie-Wearing Gunmen Kill 1, Wound 5 in Bobby Rush’s Chicago District.

None of the sickening hate speech quoted in our previous post has been deleted; instead, they’re just piling more onto the heap.

WARNING: this stuff is ugly and offensive. But it shows you what the breitbart.com team is now encouraging and permitting at their site.

This is what we need My African brothers and sisters! We need show everyone we don’t f|_|ck around. We real n199as!!!!

he can’t help it. it’s just the animal instinct.

[…]

Does anybody here know the local number of the “Klan”?

[…]

This is just violent, criminal, damn Niggers doing what Niggers do best. No surprise here.

[…]

You have got that right. Can’t argue that.

[…]

The Blacks from Chicago are the worst. Just take a look at our current POTUS and you see no character, no morals, no kindness, JUST GREED

[…]

Looks like the problem is taking care of itself. If we are going to continue giving these animals free stuff it should be limited to ammunition only.

This is just from a quick scan of the first couple of pages, and as usual, all of these comments have high ratings from other readers.

When Dan Riehl was made aware of these comments, here’s how he responded on Twitter to me:

The Breitbrats display the mentality of anti-social 12 year olds, and think they're clever while doing so.

But you really couldn't find a more picture-perfect representation of modern conservatism.

Justice Antonin Scalia erupted after a lawyer suggested the justices might go through the bill and decide which parts were constitutional. ... "You really want us to go through these 2,700 pages?" he asked the lawyer. "And do you really expect the court to do that?"

"...We're here on safari in one of the most dangerous regions on earth, the domain of the unpredictable and insatiable right wing blogger. While they can sometimes appear normal and non-threatening when addressed directly, the true colors of the blogger become apparent when they are being observed covertly. Let's sneak up on a nearby hive and see what lurks inside...

...my goodness! This is extraordinary. Truly some of the most vile and disgusting hatred I've seen in all my years traveling the world. These bloggers truly are reprehensible creatures. And to think they attempt to hide their terrible behavior behind the guise of "love" and "respect".

This is truly fascinating behavior...but it may also be self destructive. According to an expert on bloggers, this particular species could potentially become so aggressive and so unpredictable they may viciously turn on one another. Such behavior could ultimately cause the annihilation of their entire race. From what we understand, there are signs the bloggers could become even more dangerous and unpredictable sometime after November of this year, though how much so remains to be seen.

Astounding...if you look closely over there, you can see one of them making a token effort to delete a few comments off their site...unfortunately we've already caught them redhanded so their attempt to erase the past is unsuccessful.

Oh, look at this, it's feeding time...You can see over there in the corner a television has just been tuned to MSNBC for an upcoming speech by the President...what transpires here in the next few minutes should be utterly fascinating...and perhaps a bit disconcerting.

We're out of time for today, but do join us later for more Wild Safari Adventures. Cheerio."

Seriously. It's double spaced with about 5-7 words per line. Scalia is a dumbass.

It might be good they won't read it. If the law stays it's because Kennedy both won't read all those pages AND wouldn not want to repeal the whole law just because of the mandate.

Dear "Steely" Dan Riehl,

I have noted your use of the nickname "Chuckles" to refer to Charles. While he may indeed chuckle at your ignorance, he is hardly the only one. Upon reading your vacuous and unintentionally hilarious drivel I often chuckle, if the response isn't contempt or disgust instead. Therefore I would appreciate it if you could add me to the roster of Chuckleses (Chucklii?).

Sincerely,
Mirthful Me

That's the saddest part of all this, IMO. Modern conservatism has degraded to the point where being condescending, racist, anti-intellectual, anti-science, anti-reason, and mean spirited are considered virtues. It's pathetic.

I know that there are sane folks who don't believe those things and still consider themselves conservative, but the truth is, other conservatives would disagree and call them squishy moderates or liberal plants or whatever.

Why should he? What's actually there can not make any difference when the decision is pre-made. Strict constructionist, my ass. He's the single most activist judge in the history of the SCOTUS and even more of an insult to the court's honor than Thomas. He, unlike Thomas, knows what he's doing.

Can't the laws that sent Dharun Ravi to jail send Lee and Rosie O'Donnell to jail, too? It wasn't the suicide that got Ravi in trouble, it was the tweets. I would love to see Rosie O'Donnell in jail, for a host of reasons!

She also retweeted that incorrect address! (Not that the fact the the address was wrong really has anything to do with the stupidity of the action.)

(And she's still gullible! See this [Link: www.hollywoodreporter.com...] Though I certainly agree with the sentiment of that tweet, and it's not meant to hurt any specific person.)

Not even close. Nobody was hurt by Spike Lee's tweet. It was stupid and reckless, and could have resulted in violence -- but it didn't. And the couple reached a settlement with him, so they're obviously not pursuing it any further.

Yeah, well, you see, it doesn't say O'Donnell retweeted the address:

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a tweet from a fake Will Smith Twitter account (@RealWillSmith) went viral, being re-tweeted by Lee, Rosie O'Donnell, and Omarosa. The alleged tweet says "We live in America where a girl that threw flour on Kim Kardashian was arrested on [sight] But the man who KILLED Trayvon Martin is still free."

37 ReamWorks SKG  Sat, Mar 31, 2012 3:58:46pm

re: #30 Charles Johnson

I certainly don't want to diminish the fact that Trayvon Martin was killed for no reason, and that "Stand Your Ground" as implemented in Flordia is idiotic, dangerous, and can only lead to more senseless deaths.

But "Spike Lee" did hurt some one. They were forced to leave their home. They received threats. That hurts, by any definition. They accepted a settlement to be made whole again. They wouldn't have been offered one if they weren't "hurt."

Seconded. The mental age of Mr. Riehl seems to be on par with those who post in his support. I suppose that is to be expected.

47 Ming  Sat, Mar 31, 2012 6:24:52pm

That last tweet, about a bike riding accident, may be worth showing to law enforcement.

Getting the hate out in the open, which Charles is doing, may be the best approach. Right-wing bullying is suited to shadows and fog. It does less well when it's out there for everyone to see.
