Fox News’s Heather Childers ‘Protects’ Twitter Account After Criticism

And the site to which she linked needs to get a visit from the Secret Service
Wingnuts • Views: 21,521

Fox News anchor Heather Childers, who tweeted links to a radical right wing conspiracy website yesterday accusing Barack Obama of threatening to kill Chelsea Clinton and faking his birth certificate, has today set her Twitter account to protected.

Meanwhile, LGF reader RadicalModerate took a look at “Godfather Politics,” the site to which Heather Childers linked more than once yesterday, and discovered many comments advocating the overthrow of the US Government, and talking openly about assassinating President Obama. A couple of examples out of the deluge of insanity:

Stephen L. Buechler sr.

We can’t wait until the election. We must make this man disappear now.We must be willing to sacrifice our selves to save the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. WE HAVE TO RISE UP NOW! We need to put an armed force on the ground when he’s in the W.H. and take him and his whore of a wife and make them disappear. I know this may seal my fate but I can abide no more. If we continue to whine and moan it will be to late and we all become slaves. I am sure they are reading this as I write it but I can do nothing about that. I sleep with my weapon beside me already. I ask all red blooded American patriots to rise up immediately and join me on a cavalcade to Washington D.C. as soon as we know for shure he is at home or some place where we can get to him. steve_buechler@###.com ph.# 850-###-### be prepared to defend yourselves. I heard yesterday that an operation is already planned for this month. Perhaps we can join forces with them. They said to lay in a months food, water and toilet paper. Said you’ll know it’s on when people are taken into custody and no one knows why. Gave no date other than to say it is in April so be prepared. Supposed to be peaceful operation with law enforcement being backed by military who have already said they are in so be alert . LOVE AND VICTORY TO YOU ALL! Stephen

Reading that (OK, skimming. I can't force myself to fully read that filth) makes me almost as uncomfortable as when I've been in the same room as people espousing this sort of talk. I mean, it doesn't have quite the "Oh my god. What am I doing here? I need to get the hell out of here. Should I call the police/FBI/Secret Service?" feeling to it, but it's still pretty bad.

I mean, I'll admit that during some points of GWB's presidency I was pretty cross with him to the point of almost supporting impeachment, but talk of arresting or harming him? Dude, that's just fucked up.

Let us recall the central image of the Tea Party: a rebellion against a tyrannical foreign government that taxed us without representation. The notion being that the current government occupies the same position and it is our duty to overthrow them by all means necessary, including "Second Amendment remedies".

AFAIK, Obama and the current government were elected freely, fairly and democratically. So what these folks are advocating is actually sedition...

If you read the posting history of Buechler that's in his TP profile page (not to mention that pic of him posing with his rifle), as well as the Godfather Politics post he made yesterday, if the Secret Service doesn't see this guy as an imminent threat, I will eat my damn hat.

Catching up on last night's comments, I was dismayed to read about Daniel Patterson in Arizona. I used to know him when I lived there, and politically he seemed a decent fellow (on the issues and such), and it's a shame he turned out to be such an awful human being.

Ain't Stephen L. Buechler sr. a serious asshole!

Cowards like these always talk in the Third Person.

It's a proven tactic mostly used by the likes of Glenn Beck. He didn't personally called for the assassination of that abortion doctor.... Just let others take the hot potato out of the fire.

Their playbook:
Always insinuating, denying liability and responsibility.

His desire to herd the rest of us into that reality needs to be tempered by a little outside meddling.

Paul, I have been praying that he will be defeated or something will happen to him. For some reason, God allowed him to be elected. WHY? WE probably will not know until we reach Heaven. I know he is not going to be there.

I want this FAKE POTUS GONE. PERIOD. I do not care if he is brought out in a body bag, just let his deceitful sorry butt LEAVE and go to Kenya, the real place of his birth. He has no right being in OUR WHITE HOUSE.

Beware of the WOLF in the clothing of a SHEEP.

I am terrrified of him stopping the election in November and declaring MARTIAL LAW.

How in this world will we live and on what will we survive? We will be locked in our homes like prisoners unless some brave BLACK MAN gets rid of him.

THE MILITARY IS TRAINED TO FOLLOW ORDERS AND NOT THINK. 90%+ WILL FOLLOW ORDERS. RIGHT NOW THOUSANDS OF INTERNMENT CAMPS HAVE BEEN BUILT AND THE TSA IS HIRING THE STAFF TO MAN THEM RIGHT NOW! THE DEPT OF HOMELAND SECURITY HAS PLACED AN ORDER FOR 450 MILLION ROUNDS OF .40 JHP AMMO THAT IS DESGINED TO PENETRATE WALLS AND THEN MUSHROOM WHEN IT HITS FLESH. THAT'S ENOUGH AMMO FOR 450,000 OF OBAMAS GESTAPO (TSA). ALSO 175 MILLION ROUNDS OF NATO RIFLE AMMO.

Even scarier is when you are stuck in the room with people espousing this sort of talk and they are all either active military or police. Especially when the person you'd report them to, is sitting right there saying the same things.

I take comfort from believing that they are in the minority. At least I hope they are. They are in the minority, right?
