Yet Another Deluge of Racist Hatred and Calls for Genocide at Breitbart.com

The firehose of hatred
Wingnuts • Views: 42,988

And here we go again. Out of the blue, breitbart.com editor-in-chief Joel Pollak suddenly tweeted this at me today:

For the record, I do denounce this ethnic slur, but I’m not sure why Pollak is trying to connect me to one comment posted at the Media Matters website — unless it’s another attempt to distract people from the thousands of ugly racist comments posted at breitbart.com every single day.

For example, I just went to the site, and one of the top posts right now is: Jesse Jackson Calls on Blacks to Wear Hoodies to Polling Places.

You can probably guess where the commenters are going with this juicy piece of race baiting:

Well, you know what they say: “Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats every day. Give a man a welfare check, a free cell phone with free monthly minutes, food stamps, section 8 housing, some Air Jordans, a 40-ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe and a pack of rubbers and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.”

[…]

Yep…wear that hoodie…heaven forbid they continue they same old sad stereotypes. Might as well just bring a bucket of chicken and a watermelon too.

[…]

is that their new get out the vote strategy?? wear a hoodie and get a free mellon??

[…]

The sad thing about “Big Race”, is black people believe all this crap. Instead, they should ignore it and get a job, and leave the killing to the gangsters in the hood.

[…]

hoodies are the new burkas…

[…]

Well you put your New Black Panther Party goons out in front of MY polling place with blackjacks and billy clubs and my rifle will need a civics lesson.

[…]

Drink your Colt 45, puff that blunt…and STFU!

[…]

Jesse has done more to create misery and dependence in the black community than the plantation owners ever did.

[…]

The more the blacks act like racist, lawless animals….the better it will be for ” real ” America…..

[…]

I avoid shops that they patronize, areas where they live and events that they are drawn to. I purchased a handgun and have a conceal carry permit, and If I am attacked by any person of any race or gender, one of us is going to the morgue. I strongly suggest every white person do the same. And one more piece of advice… Stock up on ammo. I have a strong suspicion that if the Marxist pig in the white house is not reelected there may well be a race war. Don’t become a statistic.

[…]

Jessie Jackson has the IQ of my dog. Not nearly the character, though. SWA.

[…]

your dog probably speaks better English, too

[…]

I think everyone should wear hoodies to the polls, wear there paints hanging under their ass and speak in Ebonics!

[…]

No wars is going to happen. They realize if they kill the whites there will be nobody to pay taxes which means no more free ride. Someones gotta work to maintain their life style and they certainly don’t wont to do it.

[…]

What these radical blacks are doing SHOULD get them a race war. Being outnumbered 10 to 1, they would be rendered extinct.

Unfortunately, enough white people apparently don’t have the spine to do what needs to be done.

[…]

Thousands of whites are being beaten and slaughtered and raped by these savages every year. At exactly what point do you consider it to be out of control?

The mighty Boa says don’t wait, don’t be late, and don’t hesitate. Don’t wait until it is YOUR wife, YOUR mother, YOUR daughter, YOUR son, husband, father or friend that falls victim to these beasts.

The white community remained almost completely silent while the race pimps held their marches and protests and issued bounties on men not wanted by police and distributed “wanted:dead or alive” posters. Instead of contacting every attorney general, congressman and governor and telling them to put a stop to this lynch mob or else. As long as they fear the savages more than they do the whites, it will continue and it will get worse. Look at the dozens of attacks of savages on whites JUST SINCE Martin was shot. And not a word of it in the media, no whites protesting, no threats to stop it….

The blood of innocent white people not only lies on the hands of the savages, it is also on the hands of all whites who fall victim to “white guilt” or remain apathetic hoping it will all somehow just magically disappear…

[…]

Doesn’t matter if a lot of whites lack the stomach… enough of the ones in the South have the stones for it. At the very least maybe the states can separate once again and the North can wallow in their welfare nation while the South can eliminate the welfare fodder and move on to a better place.

[…]

I dunno about about whitey “being better shots”….

evidently, you have not seen the latest in firearms innovation….

New “accessory sights” are available…no gunsmithing required…

just glue them onto the “side of yo 9’s slide”…

this will definitely increase the accuracy & efficiency
whilst killing ghetto chill-ren……

[…]

Why are blacks allowed to vote???

[…]

THAT is the $64,000 question!

[…]

Because some idiots long ago decided that everyone should be allowed to vote regardless of whether they were a productive member of society or not. In a perfect world anyone on welfare would be banned from voting… after all they don’t have a dog in the hunt they are just leeching off the productive people.

[…]

I remember when you had to own property to be eligible to vote and I was born mid-20th century.

[…]

There is a war coming. You can fight it in your neighborhood, or theirs. Your choice, at least for now…

[…]

Now if we can just figure out how to get ALL of these race-baiting hate groups all in one spot in the desert somewhere, we could just drop a nuke on them and be done with it. There is simply too much mental energy being wasted by EVERYONE on all of this.
I grew up in Mississippi in the 60’s/70’s, and thought all of this was over and done. It just WON’T STOP. Fortunately, down here, we all consider this basically a joke, and make fun of it. You can’t buy a box of crackers at the grocery store, or a watermelon, and keep a straight face down here.
Hopefully, they will just die off, and leave us alone.

[…]

Would JJ be offended if me and my friends showed up in our white hoodies and robes?

There’s more, but I had to stop before I got sick.

Gingrich: 'No reason to concede' to Romney

“Romney is clearly the front-runner, but he has not locked down the nomination,” Gingrich said in an interview, referring to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. “North Carolina could play the same role of turning things around that it did in 1976 for Reagan.”

File this under awkward: Jon Huntsman, who endorsed Mitt Romney after dropping out of the presidential race in January, is "not a surrogate for Romney" and will not be campaigning for him, according to his daughter, Abby Huntsman Livingston.

The thing is, while Huntsman's visible backing might help Romney slightly with independents impressed with Jon's semblance of sanity, he would also serve as another reminder for the hardcore fundamentalist Christians of Mitt's unrepentant religious apostasy.

It's straightforward. He hires "political consultants" to advise his campaign, paying them large amounts of money for unspecified services. Then, when the race is finally over, those same companies hire him at an inflated rate to grace them with his "expertise".

It's all a large money-laundering scam. The sad part is that there are honest (if dim and somewhat bigoted) people who fall for it.

Had a really hilarious encounter with a guy at RawStory. He posted, feverishly, a link to a story that he described as being about two black men beating two white men with hammers--and, just to show us libs, one of the victims was a 'white Hispanic', and the other was Jewish. This proved something about Trayvon Martin, I'm not sure what.

Problem was that, upon arriving at his link, you couldn't help noting that there was only one victim, whose name and race was not being released, and the 'Hispanic' and 'Jewish' names he'd noted were those of the perps, who, as I pointed out to him, had also been arrested for their crime, which was all anyone was actually asking for in the Martin case.

This is the problem with these guys. They frame this as an argument about who is the 'good race' and who is the 'bad race', and seem indifferent to any suggestion that the actual discussion is about law enforcement.

Well you put your New Black Panther Party goons out in front of MY polling place with blackjacks and billy clubs and my rifle will need a civics lesson.

Two men, only two men, at only one voting station in Philadelphia, (who left when asked to by law enforcement officers), out of the thousands across the state, and they still can't let it go four years later. The Republicans have spent millions trying to prove voter fraud, vote tampering, or voter intimidation occurred in the last election and have come up with bupkis.

Yet it still remains an article of faith amongst certain circles of Republican voters that widespread voter intimidation and voter fraud must have happened. There just isn't any other way to explain a Ni**er being elected to the White House, regardless of their fucked up liberal political beliefs no rational white person would ever vote for a Ni**er unless they were being coerced in some way, right?

Their refusal to accept reality and instead blaming their loss on things that are known to be untrue pretty much tells you all you need to know and perhaps more than you wanted to about this group of people.

The poor reading comprehension of many Americans is probably the greatest threat to America, especially when combined with a lack of embarrassment and glib, superficial charm. Shame and pride in one's mind together can be very useful tools for self correction, without them willful ignorance becomes a virtue and being shown how undeniably wrong and backwards one processed some piece of information has no lasting impact on the structural problems that caused the error. There's no desire not to repeat the mistake.

In some science news this week, a reworking of the tree of mitochondrial DNA evolution in humans takes the European reference mtDNA away from being the reference:

A “Copernican” Reassessment of the Human Mitochondrial DNA Tree from its Root

Wonder if Pat Buchanan will complain.

Anyway, interesting stuff. Places the reference ancestor mtDNA, that is, the mtDNA from a woman which all humans can put in their family tree, at 177 thousands years before present:

[Link: www.cell.com...]

One can diddle with the mutation rate to change the clock and thus the dates, a bit here or there, but nothing of significance would happen wrt human ancestry.

The creationists will try to put all the mutations post 4004BC, but that won't work for many reasons, not the least of which the Neanderthal evidence of them being significantly genetically different. The Neanderthals are shown on this tree from the paper:

[Link: www.cell.com...]

as splitting off from our line some 500k years ago. Yes there has been interbreeding since then, determined from the full autosomal DNA, but that appears to have been male Neanderthals with female sapiens and thus the mtDNA wasn't passed down that way.

I think this kind of stinks:

An underage teen who was sexually assaulted cannot sue the officer who left the severely intoxicated girl with her three future attackers, a federal judge ruled.

Long story short: The officer responds to a disturbance 911 call from an apartment manager, clears these three guys to carry the drunk girl off, lies to the other responding officer and says that the scene is clear. The three men drag the girl into a laundry room and rape her, the apartment manager calls 911 again, different cops come and arrest the men in the middle of raping her.

She wants to sue the cop. The judge just denied that. The judge fully admits that the cop lied to another cop, telling him the scene was clear, and that an actual investigation might have prevented the rape, but he says that, basically, cops aren't constitutionally bound to help people, they just have to not make the situation worse.

Even if you buy that, I think that's bullshit because he gave the mooks the okay to leave, they thought they were in the clear, that the cops had been called, were going away, and so they were free to act. I don't get how the judge couldn't factor that in.

BLITZER: All right, joining me now, police veteran Lou Palumbo. He currently runs a private security firm, the Elite Group. Also joining us our senior legal analyst Jeffrey Brown and criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos.

It's a major issue as far as the Justice Department is concerned, that word, whether it was a bad word or simply saying it was cold, F- ing cold, shall we say, because the Justice Department presumably wouldn't get involved in a civil rights case if the word is cold.

JEFFREY TOOBIN, CNN SENIOR LEGAL ANALYST: That's right.

The only way the federal government has jurisdiction over this homicide is if they can prove there was some sort of racial hostility at the core of it. A simple shooting is a purely state matter and then the federal government wouldn't be involved.

There may be other evidence in the case. This is obviously very important. It's not the only piece of evidence in the case. The Justice Department presumably will investigate every aspect of this to determine it, but certainly if the word is cold, not C-O-O-N, that is highly relevant.

Netroots Nation Won’t Have RightOnline To Kick Around Anymore

The media zoo that was the annual Netroots Nation/RightOnline internet activism conferences duel is no more.

Liberal activists who have turned Netroots into one of the premier events on the progressive calendar actively worked to keep the smaller but often louder conservative RightOnline conference from horning in on its action after last year’s twin conferences in Minneapolis. RightOnline announced Thursday that this summer’s conservative confab will be held 3,000 miles away from, and a week later than, Netroots 2012.

Netroots 2012 will be held June 7-10 in Providence, R.I. RightOnline 2012 will be held June 15-16 in Las Vegas.

Is Texas looking to change its delegate rules to help Santorum?

According to a spokesman at the Texas Republican Party, a member of the Texas GOP’s executive committee drafted an email to call an emergency meeting to revisit its delegate-allocation rules.

And make no mistake: This effort is coming from Santorum world.

Santorum, in fact, commented on this subject yesterday while campaigning in Pennsylvania.

“After Pennsylvania, the calendar in May looks very, very interesting -- a lot of strong conservative states who are looking for the opportunity to tighten this race back up. There's talk now of maybe making the state of Texas, 154 [sic] delegates, a winner-take-all state. We would like that. That would be a good thing.”

And today on MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports," Santorum spokeswoman Alice Stewart added, “Keep an eye on Texas, that’s going to be critical in terms of how the votes play out there, whether it’s winner-take-all or proportional. Texas will be critical in the primary election and everyone needs to pay attention to that."

Right now, Texas is set to award its 155 delegates -- on May 29 -- proportionally. But making it winner-take-all could help Santorum narrow Romney’s delegate lead, if Santorum remains in the race (and more importantly, if he remains competitive).

No surprise here. PETA have always been opportunistic assholes:

PETA Will Gladly Accept Tucker Max's $500,000 Rejected Donation To Planned Parenthood (PHOTO)

Planned Parenthood was likely justified in turning down a $500,000 donation from controversial author Tucker Max, but apparently People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has no problem accepting his money.

PETA president Ingrid E. Newkirk sent Max and his publicist Ryan Holiday a letter explaining there was still a way for the author to help prevent unplanned pregnancies, receive a tax break and have his name "proudly" attached to a clinic.

So, while Planned Parenthood didn't want Max's name associated with the organization, PETA is all for it.

"We would like to purchase a brand-new mobile spay-and-neuter truck and name it "Fix Your Bitches! The Tucker Max No-Cost to Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic," Newkirk explained, adding that the truck would cost just under $400,000 and Max could donate another $100,000 for veterinary fees if he's willing to donate the same amount he offered Planned Parenthood.

How very true. Folks 'round these parts are well-versed in the activities of the People Embarassing the Tidewater Area. The organization that's left people here wondering how many fish and animals were killed or displaced in the building of the HQ on the banks of the Elizabeth River. The one that has had an active campaign waged against it to have it's animal shelters reclassified by the Virginia Department of Agriculture as slaughterhouses. And successfully managed to get two workers off for 31 counts of animal cruelty, and only pay a fine and some community service for "littering" by dumping the bodies of 80 animals into a shopping malls dumpsters.

And let's not get started with their "ad campaigns."

Well, I guess there is something good about EA after all...

EA defends itself against thousands of anti-gay letters

EA is standing up for same sex relationships in games despite outrage from some

EA has been inundated in recent weeks with what GamesIndustry International understands to be "several thousand" letters and emails protesting the inclusion of same sex or LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) content in its video games, most notably Mass Effect 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic. When asked, EA confirmed that this has indeed been occurring, and unsurprisingly, EA has no plans to censor any of its games.

"Every one of EA's games includes ESRB content descriptors so it's hard to believe anyone is surprised by the content. This isn't about protecting children, it's about political harassment," Jeff Brown, VP of corporate communications told us.
---
"EA has not been pressured by any groups to include LGBT characters in our games. However, we have met with LBGT groups and sponsored industry forums to discuss content and harassment of players in online forums. In short, we do put options for same-sex relationships in our games; we don't tolerate hate speech on our forums," Brown added.

If you've ever seen some of the documents he tried to submit to various courts there's a damn good reason he was finally given the banhammer by the state bar.

At one point he tried to pull the MY DISBARMENT WAS ILLEGAL BECAUSE OF REASONS card and claimed that he was going to go back to practicing law, but that pretty much died as soon as it happened. Good riddance.

Language is getting so complicated.

If it's a con, it's a well-played one. Considering how active Avellone is with the fan community, if he hadn't pledged support to this, folks would already know.

I don't really know enough about the finance side of the game industry, but if they're working with an existing engine, cutting out publisher control and it's wacked requirements, and going with digital distribution, they could wind up being able to do more with less funding.

If they do go with DD, it will be the first time in history that The Behemoth has ever paid money for a game without getting a hard copy.

They're in love with Reagan the abstract idea rather than what Reagan's presidency actually was. I look at some of the shit Reagan did e.g. Iran-Contra and then lying about it, trying to appoint a complete wacko to the Supreme Court in Bork, and then I think about what the right would do if Obama did that. Why, they would be using Iran-Contra as "proof" that Obama's really a Muslim. Instead Obama's policies result in the deaths of both Bin Laden and Qaddafi and these guys especially Romney still want to tell the American people that all Obama does is apologize for our policies.

Coulter vs. Malkin: Female conservatives clash over Palin

Last Sunday, in an appearance on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” conservative columnist and author Ann Coulter took what some have seen as a swipe at former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, saying that the eventual Republican candidate shouldn’t pick “a novelty candidate” as their vice presidential nominee because it “would ring too much like Sarah Palin.”

Conservative blogger and commentator Michelle Malkin challenged Coulter’s characterization, suggesting in a post on Monday that Coulter was part of the “war on conservative women” Malkin had opined on a month ago.

“‘Novelty candidate’ means an outside-the-Beltway, outside-the-establishment public servant who speaks from the heart, lives political and personal life on her own terms, and embodies all that Coulter’s best Hollywood friends like misogynist Bill Maher hate,” Malkin wrote on Monday. “Sometimes, the war on conservative women isn’t just being waged by the Left. This is a form of political fragging. Shame.”

For wine? Experimenting in the lower price ranges can be risky. I don't have very discerning taste but some of the shit is just gross. I stick with the reds (merlot, Cab Sav, etc) Barefoot and Yellowtail are widely available, affordable and drinkable.

Drinking Yellowtail as a fine red wine in like drinking a Bud in a micro brewery.

That's just ... heh.

Not a big wine fan myself, more into liquor. Anyone got any recommendations for something fairly inexpensive but good.

Wolf Blass wine, Canadian Club whiskey, Glenfiddich scotch.

It is odd that I'm mostly a wine drinker but my taste in wine is pretty basic. I rarely drink beer but when I do I'm pretty snooty about my choices.

…Coulter said that might be a weakness in the Republican Party as a whole — that certain individuals become celebrities and are allowed to profit off that status and yet still interfere in GOP politics, which Democrats have been able to avoid.
“And just a more corporate problem is I think our party and particularly our movement, the conservative movement, does have more of a problem with con men and charlatans than the Democratic Party,” she said. “I mean, the incentives seem to be set up to allow people — as long as you have a band of a few million fanatical followers, you can make money. The Democrats have managed to figure out how not to do that.”

Glenfiddich is good. Got a free shot a month back since the bartender was the brother of my Dad's best friend. I think I'll give the Canadian whiskey a try. I haven't tried it yet. More into Irish whiskeys but always into trying new things too.

Malkin:

That's just ... heh.

How Malkin quickly forgets that McCain was running close with Obama until people met his running mate and most of them outside of right wing partisans couldn't stand her. The base loved Palin, I have no doubt about that, but your average voter sees her what she is- someone woefully unqualified for the vice presidency and who didn't understand policy at all.

McCain was a problem but not for the reason why Malkin thinks. It wasn't because he wasn't a real conservative. It was because he wasn't the McCain that many people including myself liked in 2000. He was just like Romney today, a man who sold out much of his principles to satisfy a base that likes raw red meat than actual steak.

Wine tasting seems to be almost entirely about expectation:

In 2001, Frederic Brochet conducted two experiments at the University of Bordeaux.

In one experiment, he got 54 oenology (the study of wine tasting and wine making) undergraduates together and had them taste one glass of red wine and one glass of white wine. He had them describe each wine in as much detail as their expertise would allow. What he didn't tell them was both were the same wine. He just dyed the white one red. In the other experiment, he asked the experts to rate two different bottles of red wine. One was very expensive, the other was cheap. Again, he tricked them. This time he had put the cheap wine in both bottles. So what were the results?

The tasters in the first experiment, the one with the dyed wine, described the sorts of berries and grapes and tannins they could detect in the red wine just as if it really was red. Every single one, all 54, could not tell it was white. In the second experiment, the one with the switched labels, the subjects went on and on about the cheap wine in the expensive bottle. They called it complex and rounded. They called the same wine in the cheap bottle weak and flat.

Another experiment at Cal-Tech pitted five bottles of wine against each other. They ranged in price from $5 to $90. Similarly, the experimenters put cheap wine in the expensive bottles -- but this time they put the tasters in a brain scanner. While tasting the wine, the same parts of the brain would light up in the machine every time, but with the wine the tasters thought was expensive, one particular region of the brain became more active. Another study had tasters rate cheese eaten with two different wines. One they were told was from California, the other from North Dakota. The same wine was in both bottles. The tasters rated the cheese they ate with the California wine as being better quality, and they ate more of it.

I have been meaning to try more types of bourbon too. Anyhow this will probably be a daytime decision. Just going to enjoy the day off. Been a busy week at work.

I'm teasing you KT.. I grew up in Wine Country.. Put up with my folks wine snobs.. Wine parties rocked in Napa..
But really..A lot of us kids loved beer..If you brought a 6 pack to a high school party you were the king.. If you grew up in Wine Country and couldn't find free wine anytime you had connection issues..

I haven't posted about this but it's pretty big news - major companies are cutting off funding for ALEC, the right wing front group behind 'Stand Your Ground' and voter ID laws:

Also today, both Coca-Cola and Pepsi announced they're dumping ALEC.

There's something happening here.

Based on the article ThinkProgress links to, there's a series of boycotts brewing for companies that support ALEC in light of Trayvon Martin's death.

I was always pretty popular in my social circle on campus because I had a fridge and I kept it stocked with good stuff. I had no problem sharing the wealth either. Just as long as people didn't act like jackasses heading back to their places, I was cool.

It was chilly today here so I wore a hoodie sweatshirt all day. It didn't occur to me until right now that somebody might consider that a political statement. I went to Target, Starbucks, and Whole Foods in my hoodie.

Crap, now I have to pay attention to what I throw on when I'm heading out the door to run errands now?

One other recommendation -- El Dorado Special Reserve 15 year old

Caribbean rum that's made for sipping, and which would be wasted in mixed drinks. Very good stuff. I'm sitting here having a glass of it with a single ice cube added and it's a smooth drink.

Not a bad way to celebrate my 39th birthday. :)

I don't know if they're all gone yet, but most of them are.

I'm still here. Kind of embarrassed of some of the things I said back then. Even though it's true that plenty of people on the Left were making complete fools of themselves and were ripe pickings. I think the way some of them reacted to 9/11...almost gleefully blaming America and saying we got what we deserved, almost before the dust settled...sickened a lot of people, including me.

And although plenty of people on the site were conservatives, most were the thinking, articulate kind.
