Jaw-Dropper: Fox Affiliate in Orlando Calls Neo-Nazis a ‘Civil Rights Group’

Jaw-dropper of the day
Media • Views: 60,793

What the hell is going on at Fox 35, the Fox News affiliate in Orlando, Florida?

Do you mean to tell me that nobody in the editorial chain for this story realized that they were not covering a “civil rights group” … but the National Socialist Movement, a neo-Nazi organization that uses a swastika for their logo?

Really? Civil Rights Group Patrolling Sanford.

In this video of their broadcast, you can see this isn’t just a fluke headline — the anchor refers to the Nazis as a “civil rights group” by name.

“There’s another civil rights group in town: the National Socialist Movement.”

And you can also see that they went to the Nazis’ website, and must have looked directly at its swastika logo. In the whole clip there isn’t even a hint of the National Socialist Movement’s true nature, except when they interview one of the Nazis and he denies that they’re a hate group — an assertion that goes completely unchallenged.

Youtube Video

Again: what the hell is happening at this news channel, that they can’t distinguish between a “civil rights group” and an armed gang of white supremacists and neo-Nazis? Un-freaking-believable.

(h/t: Gus.)

UPDATE at 4/8/12 4:28:36 pm

Fox 35 Orlando has now deleted the page from their site, but the URL still shows the title, and the article is still showing up in their ‘Featured’ list with the “Civil Rights Group” headline.

UPDATE at 4/8/12 4:43:43 pm

Here’s the new version: White Rights Group Patrolling Sanford.

A “white rights group?” Is that supposed to be an improvement? These assholes are not speaking for my rights.

UPDATE at 4/8/12 5:23:59 pm

Yet another headline at Fox 35 finally gets it right: Neo-Nazi Group Patrolling Sanford.

Gus was the first to find and post it in the overnight thread. I just started spreading it around. I've sent it off to the NAACP, the ADL, Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Neo-Nazis as a "civil rights group"? They believe in "rights" alright, but certainly are not "civil" about it.

These aren't like, hidden Nazis, either. They proudly proclaim that they're the biggest Nazi organization in the US. They don't make any attempt to hide it whatsoever.

5 General Nimrod Bodfish  Sun, Apr 8, 2012 2:57:10pm

What in the fuck? You have to be fucking blind to not notice the rank racism/white supremacy that the group holds in high regards.

Either skull-fucking idiocy, or willful malice, on Fox 35's part to call neo-Nazis a "civil rights" group.

Might be good to send it to the SPLC and Media Matters, too.

It gets better, check out the end of the bio for the author:

Jennifer Bisram holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and Journalism & Communications and is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, the South Asian Journalists Association, the International Radio and Television Society Foundation, Inc. and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

I'm kind of speechless.

EDIT: upon further consideration I'm not so sure she wrote the title. Within the blurb (didn't watch the video), she calls the neo-nazi's a "white rights organization" and refers to the groups leader as the "commander". which seems to be saying she had some idea of what was going on.

8 Gus  Sun, Apr 8, 2012 3:00:32pm

First time I heard the video. Seriously? Freaking reporting this like they're some kind of lovely "civil rights organization?" W.T.F.

Pull their license. They have a right to advocate National Socialism if they like, but they don't have a right to willfully deceive the public about it on the public airwaves.

If this really is just that the Nazis put this shit together, did like a press packet and the Fox affiliate fell for it-- how bad do you have to be at your job as a journalist that you miss a goddamn swastika?

And then, on top of that, there's some "John Doe" dipshit in the comments section of the article, whose comments raise derpitude to a new level:

John Doe
So let me get this straight, New Black Panthers issues dead or alive statements, as well as a bounty. That's a ok. But Neo-Nazis go and patrol, not issuing any threatening statements and it's evil. God, no wonder there is racial tension.

John Doe
Same as New Black Panthers being a civil rights group, at least the Neo-Nazis aren't putting out dead or alive posters.

But he seems to be the exception, as most of the comments are from folks having their own "WTF?!" moment.

In the video, it's the spokesman for that group who keeps calling themselves a "civil rights group" and I believe the reporter said something along the lines of "they call themselves a civil rights group." Sorry, didn't want to have to watch the stupidity again to get a correct quote.

The video (which features Bisram) does call them a "civil rights" organization and doesn't question their claim of not being racists.

I.e., they don't mention that they're called out by the ADL and the SPLC as a neo-Nazi hate group.

It takes a real special kind of idiot to think that the truth normally lies somewhere in the middle, or that two sides are going to be balanced.

It takes amazing amounts of work to balance two things. Yet somehow people fool themselves into thinking with any two sides, there's some sort of balance.

It's an orchestrated campaign of character assassination, and I'm not being paranoid, unfortunately - it's an observable fact. But they're so offensive and stupid, what's actually happening is that they're assassinating their own characters.

I'm trying to contact the people they harass whenever I see a reply to one of the stalker accounts, and let them know what's going on.

It's also a fallacy of the American media/sales culture that there are 'two sides'. It's a natural extension of the strange, binary political system that exists here, but all the rubbish about 'both sides' in the past decade or so has been entirely a media creation.

It's pretty obvious that on virtually all issues, there's way more than two sides or points of view. Yet in the interest of selling a more easily controlled narrative, it's made out to be about 'two sides'. And people swallow it. Even here, on the most reality-based forum on the internet, people still sometimes refer to 'both sides', 'moonbats vs wingnuts' and other fallacies.

"White rights group" is a little closer to the truth, but still so far off the mark that it's not even in the same zip code. The Neo-Nazis, as with their predecessors, are every bit a group that believes only whites and then only certain whites are even human, much less that they are entitled to any rights. And feel that those rights are actually endangered by those they consider "subhuman" existing in civilized society.

68 Killgore Trout  Sun, Apr 8, 2012 3:40:11pm

I think this is an interesting window in modern journalistic ethics. Most news outlets had the common sense to report them as neo-NAzis but the segment producer (I'm not sure if the newsreader is doing her own reporting here, I think she was just reading the script) just repeated the talking points he was given from the group. It's common in reporting to avoid angering their viewers. Republican spokesman says "x" while Democrats say "y". Avoiding critical fact checking means both dems and Reps will be equally happy (or unhappy) with the coverage and avoids the appearance of bias from the reporter.
This just took the stupid and lazy "fair reporting" ethic to an absurd level.

69 Obdicut  Sun, Apr 8, 2012 3:42:38pm

re: #68 Killgore Trout

Seeking the false middle-- engaging with the idiotic belief that the truth lies somewhere in the middle-- isn't about not angering people, I don't think. Plenty of people are still angry at that sort of blank, non-critical reporting. So that's an insufficient explanation.

70 Lord Baron Viscount Duke Earl Count Planckton  Sun, Apr 8, 2012 3:42:44pm

The case is notable exactly because it's so absurd. Unlike with more mainstream folks, nobody cares about the neo-Nazi hurt feelings. So it is what you say, but it's also more. Like, some sort of an unfathomable ignorance. (I won't ascribe any evil motives since there's no evidence of such at this moment.)

It is interesting to see such an extreme example. Whoever put this story together just blindly followed the formula and shut off all critical thinking in the process. Maybe the regular staff is off for the holiday weekend and these are second stringers. But even then you'd think somebody in the news room would have said something. Every other outlet has been reporting them as Nazis all week so the Fox affiliate surely knew but made a conscious choice to not report it. Amazing.

There is a lot of soft reporting on nativist groups in general, especially at Fox. Outright white power places often get the focus on their 'border control' aspects rather than their racist ideologies.

This is an extreme example, but in general, the media slants reporting on groups like this to soften it. I don't think it's about not angering people, I think it's just about the fallacy of objectivity that gets pushed, that the media should have some 'objective' way of reporting on Nazis, on racists, on people who want women who were raped to give birth even if the pregnancy threatens their lives.

So Sanford, Florida just allows armed paramilitary groups to patrol the streets looking for trouble, and when they find it, they can shoot to kill and hide behind Stand Your Ground laws. I don't know, for some reason, that just seems like its inviting trouble. With all the armed neighborhood watchmen and Neo-Nazis, what could go wrong?

As for their ties to Detroit, I have never heard of them operating around here. They must keep it real low key in these parts.

And by the way, I've been waiting for more info on the shootings in Tulsa before jumping into it, but today it really is starting to look like a hate crime targeted at African Americans: Tulsa Shootings Possibly Connected to Murder of Suspect's Father.

Police are examining whether the shootings might be a hate crime, as England, 19, had posted racially charged comments on his Facebook page about the two-year anniversary of his father's death, the Tulsa World reported.

England wrote: "Today is two years that my dad has been gone shot by a f------ n----- it's hard not to go off between that and sheran I'm gone in the head."

Sheran Hart Wilde, his girlfriend, died earlier this year.

Today, I saw part of a Ron Paul speech excerpted on CNN, and some on-air discussion about it, without a hint about Dr. Paul's inexcusable associations with white supremacists.

This, and the "white civil rights organization" Fox News story, is what happens when we don't have universal condemnation of Ron Paul's links to white supremacists, Pat Buchanan's racist rhetoric, Louis Farrakhan's anti-Semitic ravings, etc. It's essential that large majorities in both parties come out and say it, as often as necessary: explicit haters, especially Nazis and white supremacists, are beyond the pale, third-rail, radioactive. If these haters aren't strongly rejected by large majorities in both parties, there will be people (like that Fox News "journalist") who see them as "just the other side of the controversy".

Your news from MS is an example of why the first effort will probably not work and the GOP officials will fail to hide the obvious.

Regarding the second effort, there seems to be a little progress. Example - the latest Blogginheads episode with Matt Lewis, in which he claims such a war on science doesn't exist:
[Link: bloggingheads.tv...]

Matt is usually one of the more reasonable or at least amenable "conservatives" blogging, but he's doing some fancy footwork here to avoid the obvious. And, Bill Scher didn't seem to interested in bringing in much evidence to counter Matt.

Well, he's correct that it's partially due to the F-35 being single-engine that the Navy hasn't been so hot on it. But the bigger factor has been that the F-35's chief selling point has been stealth, which the Navy feels is of less importance for an aircraft that's supposed to be replacing older model Hornets as bomb trucks.

well, single-engine or twin engine does not make for a fundamental difference in fighting capabilities of military jets, afaik, so I'd say that's not much of a point.
also, many critics of the F-35 tout the F-16 as the prime example of a good multi-role military jet - as I recall that one's sorely lacking in the second-engine-department as well.
edit and I guess #165 invalidates my point.

It's not about performance, it's about reliability. If that single F-135 fails, the pilot's ending up in one of two places: Bobbing in the sea until a rescue bird can haul him out or in enemy hands if he bails out over land.

The Falcon was never part of the VFX contest, and came on line four years after the F 14.

But it was part of the ACF contest, of which the Navy was ordered after it finished to adopt one of the two prototypes as a new light fighter to compliment the F-14. The Navy didn't trust the YF-16's single-engine and narrow undercarriage design to be easily adapted to naval operations, so they went with the YF-17.

BTW, Townhall is still prominently pushing Doug Giles latest column Blacks Can Murder Whites, and It Won’t Make National News. It's up to 1400+ comments now, with many of them delving into usual internet idiocy.

Salem Communications is really working the white-victimization angle. Gone are the days, I guess, when they would bury Pat Buchanan's columns (which they always carried but rarely used to put on the front page.)

Hell, Trayvon Martin's death wouldn't have made national news had it not been for the CIRCUMSTANCES of his death. Contrary to what the right wants us to believe, the Martin case is NOT about skin color, it's about the legality of the actions of one man that led to the death of a teenager.

If Zimmerman had been black, but everything else about the case stayed the same, there would still be something seriously fishy about it.

A senseless death is senseless period.

Europe was a culturally diverse place with different music and dance and food. Different traditions. Different holidays. Different mythology and bogeymen and bedtime stories. Different taboos.

Seriously. Which "white culture" are they talking about -- German, Irish, Scottish, English, Swedish, Belgian, Greek, Spanish, etc.? Europe has always been far more than just a monolithic "white" part of the world. There were cultural influences and inspirations from all over the world over there, just like there are here.

Things like the spice and silk trades, the slave trade, and all of the religious and cultural mixing (i.e., the Moors in Spain, etc.) have had an impact on Europe. You can't just call all of it "white". And here in the States there are all sorts of African and Latin influences (especially here in the South), loads of Asian influence out West, and lots of different cultural pockets all over the place. It's stupid as all hell to just talk about "white culture".

I got more:

Guess the Ethnicity/Nation of origin of these three:

Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

In addition, I found more!

Roman Britain was more interesting than believed:

Archaeologists have discovered that wealthy black Africans lived in Roman Britain in one of the country's earliest examples of multiculturalism. "Analysis... contradicts assumptions about the make-up of Roman-British populations as well as the view that African immigrants were of low status... The link between slavery and Africans is an early modern one. In the Roman world this simply was not the case. Slaves in Roman times could come from any area." ... African men had immigrated to Britain, invariably with the Roman Army, and had brought their wives and children. "We're looking at a population mix which is much closer to contemporary Britain than previous historians had suspected. In the case of York, the Roman population may have had more diverse origins than the city has now."

The so-called "Minorities" were in Britain before the English even existed

Alexander Pushkin's father was a Black Russian. Alexandre Dumas' father was half Haitian. And the Saami Ethnic Group of Northern Scandinavia (Which the Norwegian Progress Party wants to force into integration (They have a good deal of Autonomy) are more closely related to Asian Ethnic Groups.

"Whiteness" or colorism are bullshit.

Their simplistic thinking is that since one can talk about black culture, one should also be able to talk about "white culture".

The problem is, globally there is no "black culture". There is one, in the US context, but for one simple reason. When blacks were brought to the US as slaves they were involuntarily deracinated. They were cut off from their ethnicities (which constituted different cultures). So their culture was something that grew anew on the US soil. In a sense then "blacks" is not only a race in the US, it has also become sort of an ethnic group. Which has its culture. This is not true for whites, which have numerous ethnic groups with different cultural peculiarities.

If you look at the hate groups on the SPLC map, Florida wins. 55 groups. More than any other in the nation. Most of that concentration is outside of JAX in the north, to the west between Tampa/Sarasota and also in central, in and near Orlando.

[Link: www.splcenter.org...]

The SPLC is reporting on these guys, too. I wonder if they know Fox news considers them a civil rights organization?

And here is Jeff Schoep's bio, the guy in the video.

Jeff Schoep has been a neo-Nazi true believer since age 10 who has managed, largely by luck, to end up heading one of the largest explicitly Hitlerite groups in America. Schoep's group is known for the crudeness of its propaganda, the violence it works hard to provoke, and the faux SS outfits that have caused many other neo-Nazis to deride NSM members as "Hollywood Nazis."

It goes on. He's also a friend of Bill White.

From Schoep's bio:

Schoep is also known for focusing on recruiting children — specifically, 14- to 17-year-olds who Schoep says are taught military skills and how to become a "more effective warrior" in NSM's Viking Youth Corps. Parents might want to proceed cautiously, however. In 2004, Indiana authorities posted a photograph of that state's NSM leader, John Edward Snyder. Snyder had been recently released from prison for rape and other sex charges and banned from having any contact with children.

Just a little more information not provided to Fox Orlando viewers.

For crying out loud! Humanity went through a bottleneck 70,000 years ago, leaving us with a reduced diversity that is much smaller than the vast majority of mammals. There simply hasn't been time for humans to develop the differences these idiots need to assuage their inferiority complexes.

Actually, the "bottleneck" (if one can call it that) is primarily out of Africa.

There is more genetic diversity within Africans in Africa than there is in others who left Africa 70 thousand years ago or so, presumably because that started with a much smaller genetic sampling.

Ironic that so many of the same people who take solace believing their God made them in his own image and gave them dominion over the animals on Earth cling to racism which is very similar to the animal instinct to herd with other like creatures and team up to chase others off your territory.

"The Toba catastrophe theory suggests that a bottleneck of the human population occurred c. 70,000 years ago, proposing that the human population was reduced to perhaps 15,000 individuals[3] when the Toba supervolcano in Indonesia erupted and triggered a major environmental change. The theory is based on geological evidences of sudden climate change and on coalescence evidences of some genes (including mitochondrial DNA, Y-chromosome and some nuclear genes)[4] and the relatively low level of genetic variation with humans.[3]"

That should be the human population out of Africa, if true, or the genetic diversity that is now seen in Africa would have been eliminated; but it has not. Needless to say, there need not have been a migration only once back then.

Michigan Republicans Illegally Passed Over 96% of Bills Under 'Immediate Effect'

Last night, Rachel Maddow broke a huge story that has been happening since Republicans took over in Michigan in 2011 and has gone completely under the radar. Since January 2011, 566 bills have been signed into law. Of those, 546 of them, 96.5% were passed under “immediate effect”. Here’s the video from last night’s show that will blow your mind. Pay particular attention to around 12:30 where they show it in action. It’s astonishing. [...]

As Rachel Maddow points out, if Public Act 4 had not been passed in this way, it would only have gone into effect in the past few weeks, 90 days after the last legislative session. Think about that for minute. Think about how much has been done to, using Maddow’s phrase, “rout democracy” in our state under that law in the year that it has been on the books. Think about how it could have been different if they hadn’t used immediate effect.

Maddow then went on to show just how illegal this is. It’s something that I pointed out in my piece yesterday titled “Michigan GOP appeals ruling preventing them from violating the state constitution”. It’s the fact that immediate effect can only happen if 2/3 of the members of the House vote for it. But Republicans do not HAVE 2/3 of the House. The entire reason that they have been avoiding using roll call votes is because they did not have the votes to make the laws immediate effect. In other words, over 96% of the laws passed by the Republicans since January 2011 have been illegal in their implementation. Read on...Michigan Republicans have ILLEGALLY passed over 96% (546) of their bills under “immediate effect”

Look at the comments at ThinkProgress and other sites -- you'll see some white idiot trying to equate the New Black Panthers or Al Sharpton as some sort of analogous figures to the Nazis and playing some ridiculous MBF attempt where the Nazis are just the white versions of Sharpton or the NBP.

I'm not a fan of either Sharpton or the NBP, but neither of them are analogous to the neo-Nazis. The National Socialist Movement assholes would forcibly deport everyone in this country who aren't "pure white", and violently oppress anyone who refuses to leave. And that's just one of their platform points.

Cracks emerge in Santorum's evangelical support

Rick Santorum, who rose in the polls thanks to enthusiastic support from Christian conservatives, faced pressure Sunday from a key Republican evangelical to end his increasingly long-shot White House bid.

Richard Land, a top official with the powerful Southern Baptist Convention, urged Santorum to abandon the race and throw his support to frontrunner Mitt Romney to increase Republicans' chances of defeating Barack Obama in November.

"Rick's a good friend. I like Rick a lot," Land told CBS "Face the Nation" program on Sunday.

But he said, "as his friend I would say to him, 'you know, you ought to seriously consider leaving the race now'," the prominent Baptist clergyman said.

Geoffrey Norman at the Weekly Standard thinks President Obama is a big unfair-fighting meanie. (McCarthyite, thug, Chicago, etc.). He actually dared to comment on the Supreme Court.
[Link: www.weeklystandard.com...]

By contrast, EJ Dionne suddenly remembered where he put his spine, at least temporarily:

The United States, FDR insisted, could not afford “to sacrifice each generation in turn while the law catches up with life.” He spoke with a sense of urgency in the midst of the Great Depression. “The millions who are in want,” he said, “will not stand by silently forever while the things to satisfy their needs are within easy reach.”

FDR lost the court-packing fight but won the larger battle over the right of the democratic branches of government to legislate on behalf of the common good.

Progressives would be wildly irresponsible if they sat by quietly while a conservative Supreme Court majority undid 80 years of jurisprudence. Roosevelt wasn’t a wimp, and Obama has decided that he won’t be one, either. Conservatives are unhappy because they prefer passive, intimidated liberals to the fighting kind.

I give it a week before he goes back to being the insufferable "centrist" squish he's been for the last few years, but whatever. At least he got a decent article up for a change.

Yeah and what these morons apparently don't give a shit about is that there were people here BEFORE the white man ever came so it's not really a white nation even by their twisted logic.

Any place white people move to in sufficient quantities becomes a 'white nation', and asking them to share with other people is just oppressing the poor whites.

Is it possible early modern man interbred with other types of humans, creating an entirely new hybrid person? Sex in the Stone Age delves into an evolutionary mystery that could revolutionize our understanding of who our ancestors really were. Ancient human fragments are found in Siberia, and DNA testing shows that they are neither a Neanderthal nor a modern human, but another human group previously unknown to science.

I should add an addendum to the Caliphate thing:

The Caliphate initially got jumped from behind, so to speak. In the 840's several attacks began. Quadalqavir fell to the Vikings, and advanced inland, raiding Lisbon, and attack Seville before the Muslim Armies got their footing and thumped them. The next decade, a small Moroccan State named Nekor was raided, and the king there was forced to give a ransom to get his harem back. But within a few decades, a competent navy was formed and the problems stopped.

The Christian regions of Iberia at the time didn't fair as well. They ended up having chronic attempts long after the Arabs and Moors pushed back against my ancestors, and the Vikings actually ended up settling a town in Northern Portugal.

As an addendum, the other portion of dad's side is Frisian. Their power was broken by my other ancestors. My ancestry, my mom's and dad's combined. Have been on both sides of most European Wars for about the 1,000 years.

The fuck does Easter have to do with The Great Gravelly One?

I'm afraid I must contact our local Pebble Pastor and urge him to investigate you for crimes of heresy.

I don't know. Just sitting around thinking and complaining about Jesus. Nothing I can do so I just sit back and watch. Most people just go on drinking their beer and shopping at Best Buy.

Over at The Dispersal of Darwin they noticed that the American version of the trailer for Pirates! Band of Misfits:

Doesn't mention the name of one of the characters, though he is shown briefly. However, the UK version of the trailer is a musical version that introduces that character:

The name of the character? Oh, it's Charles Darwin. And it's not just a throw away character either, as the voice is provided by one David Tennant.

Looking at the written description that the releasing studio (Sony) has on Youtube, here is the one for the American version:

Hugh Grant, starring in his first animated role, is the luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain -- a boundlessly enthusiastic, if somewhat less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. With a rag-tag crew at his side (Martin Freeman, Brendan Gleeson, Russell Tovey, and Ashley Jensen), and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. It's a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they battle a diabolical queen (Imelda Staunton) and team up with a haplessly smitten young scientist (David Tennant), but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure! Notice the difference?

This is America, and Sony Pictures knows it.

In fact, Sony even changed the name of the movie.

In the UK the movie is titled: The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists

But in the US Sony titles it: The Pirates! Band of Misfits

This is America, and Sony Pictures knows it.

The movie Pirate Radio, in the UK was billed for the great ensemble cast it had put together.

The US trailers made it sound like the movie was just about Philip Seymour Hoffman's character coming to save the day.

Notice a slight difference?

re: #413 Kragar

Oh yes, the US version trailer emphasizes it was an American, acting in a revolutionary way against the Brits, sort of a play on the idea of revolutionary war.

Hilarious. Getting another derpity do saying "Killgore did it!" Apparently, this time we were sneaky enough to plant said comment linking to New Nation News and waiting for the right time to reveal it! Derpity do! Killgore is one busy man. But now apparently this right-wing conspiracy is expanding to include a whole network of super-stealthy liberal plants from Little Green Footballs!

Whew.

He's the LGF Kilroy. He's been everywhere!

The sure got around during those few centuries - from founding lines of rulers in the east (the real Czars) to taking over Normandy and from there Britain (which they invaded at least three different ways over the centuries - back in Roman times, then directly in the dark ages, then the Normans.)

I commented once to a docent at the Jorvik Viking Museum in York that the Harrying of the North was essentially one group of Viking descendants trampling on another set of Viking descendants. And got a stupendous glare from her - but she also didn't deny it.

419 Aye Pod  Mon, Apr 9, 2012 4:29:41am

I don't think this could have been a mistake or just 'lazy journalism'. I think we'll see more of this sort of thing on Fox in future.

If the liberals can call the Black Panthers 'social activists' and such like then we can do this. We're just applying what seems to be the accepted standard.

420 Mattand  Mon, Apr 9, 2012 8:19:49am

Apologies if it's been covered already but it looks like Fox 35 shit canned the comments on their updated story/Nazi promo piece. When I was there last night, about 20 people (including myself) had commented.

I managed to work in a link to this post in my comment. Mostly, it was people who got that Fox 35 screwed up. There was one link to a Breitbart post saying something along the lines of "No Nazis actually patrolling", and one nimrod complaining about the "danger" of the New Black Panthers.

What's your argument, again?

The thing we've been putting forward as a healthcare plan for over ten years now is really unconstitutional and we never got around to noticing it till now, our bad....

Charles Johnson,

I agree, these guys will be violating people's civil rights, not protecting them. Does Fox News not know what National Socialist means?
