You know.. It never bothered me that they hate me..A few years ago I posted that it was so cool that I was so popular on the web.

I have never posted a word on your blogs abusing you.. I have never nor will ever post one word.. If people are posted there abusing you.. I promise you it’s not me..I Swear to God.
Another thing.. No I could go on…When I have done wrong I asked forgiveness.. Man..If there was one post in the whole wide world I could take back it would be about Godessoftheclassroom. One angry post I can’t take back.. I have said I’m sorry a hundred times and sent her an email.. We made up and I even sent her a Word Doc that I gave her permission to publish saying It was all my fault..That was 3 years ago..Just this week it was brought up on the web about what an asshole I am. During the Flouncing Season I was amazed over and over again when people’s true colors came out. You can regret saying something out loud, but don’t apologize for the truth.

They had a picture of Jesus and Mary in the Bedroom with a picture of JFK in between..The last year of his life Pops was calling..And I was posting that I should watch the Maddow show or some special on MSNBC. Dang it brought joy to his heart I was a Dem.. I loved Pops and it was finally fun to talk politics with my dad.

Well I have to say, I have left websites because of trolls my own personal trolls. I miss Salon, and every once in a great while I read and maybe even comment. But not much, it’s pretty much been given over to trolls.
They have two sets there, 1. Greenwald Trolls, these folks are conspiracy filled cretins, who fan out on Salon to harass anyone who doesn’t yell Drones every 10 minutes, oh and Obama=BushIII, War Criminal, etc, and 2. The Breitbart/Bozell troll, they are stupid beyond belief. They literally don’t know anything about anything, often misstate facts, and really don’t like marginalized groups. They see the President as the Socialist, Kenyan, Maoist, Fascist, Englishman, Mussolini, Nixon type. (No I don’t know what they mean either)
After a time, having the same “discussions” over and over again with those folks, accomplishes little, and only seems to reinforce their anger. I don’t like to feed trolls, but have done it on occasion. I think, that banning is the only way to get folks to at least bring a modicum of respect for the site if said site enforces their own rules. Most places don’t bother though. I miss Salon, but I don’t miss Salon trolls.

A week or two ago on a blog I frequent called Freeper Madness, a troll started posting in the comments. This person was obviously just trying to get a reaction from us, calling us commie faggots and accusing us of engaging in all sorts of sexual perversions. My reaction to that was to simply act as if everything he said was true. All of us had a good time laughing at him. He hasn’t posted for a few days (but I’m sure he’ll be back eventually). The key for me is to just not let them get you mad. My favorite saying is: “Sarcasm: Because arguing with stupid people just wouldn’t be as much fun.”

Charles, has more experience with Twue Trolls, than I would imagine any other
webmaster. That’s why he has Stinky for backup!
