Yet Another Sickening Deluge of Overt Racism at #Breitbart.com

What right wing racism?
Wingnuts • Views: 37,408

Whenever you see an article like this at breitbart.com, you know it’s a signal to their right wing commenters that it’s time to let their racist freak flags fly: CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS WALKS OUT ON CONTEMPT VOTE.

First, the premise of the article is false — it wasn’t just the Congressional Black Caucus who walked out, they were joined by the majority of House Democrats.

Second: blatant, open, right wing racist hatred. A disgusting deluge of it.

Every one of them has been accused, investigated or convicted of a crime.

[…]

Looks like a zoo exibit that got loose. Oh, you said criminals, I thought it said animals, oopsy.

[…]

I hope they keep walking — right out of the country. A swift kick to their white-hating asses would be in order too.

[…]

Which part of BLACK caucus don’t you understand? That’s racist to the max,

[…]

When you listen to these folks speak, please take note of the difficulty they each have constructing a single coherent sentence - the best and the brightest, to be sure.

[…]

It’s not what you think people! There was a pole smokers for pedophiles fund raiser just down the street……….. These spunk chuggers just wanted to get good seats.

[…]

‘Affirmative Action’: n***g**s new proxy.

[…]

They stand there, with their racism on full display, and not a single one of them realizes that they, themselves, are the racists/bigots. The old, ingrained plantation mentality blinds them all.

[…]

I hope we have a good election turnout to get these spooks out of office and get people in their that willwork for the people!

[…]

Blakks holding public office are traitors to our country. This example shows that blakks scoff at their oath of office because it forces them to obey whitey’s laws. They are through obeying whitey’s laws because Obama disobeys whitey’s laws. Obama has set them free to outwardly disregard our form of government and fight for a single purpose, to rob whitey to feed their own. Dammmmn our country, get revenge on it. That is their oath of office.

[…]

To bad there wasn’t a drive by or a runaway bus while they were gathered all together.

[…]

The leaves on the tree of liberty are starting to look a little dry.

[…]

Why are these blakks assembled as a gang showing the world they hate whites? Aren’t they racist? I don’t care if they are racist, I want them out of our white country, as they are destroying it.

[…]

pot calling kettle black, good one.

[…]

I think it’s time to bring back the old derogatory names which were used against these race baiters as they have not progressed beyond race and probably never will.

[…]

That be Rayciss! And I agree.

[…]

Uh, in Texas, those designations never went out of style.

And what Yankees call a “slingshot” still goes by its original name here.

[…]

There actions make white people think black people are stupid.

[…]

Black Congressional Caucus ’ values and mentality are skin deep only

[…]

Those uppity slaves have crossed the reservation and need to be taught a lesson.

[…]

Where is the White Caucus, to protect White people from these racists?

[…]

May I still say how I hate these people? Or have we lost that freedom too?

[…]

They are good at giving away whitey’s money.

[…]

The flying monkeys from Oz.

[…]

..and Representative Cummings say, “We iz ded serius - oh yess we iz! Y’all kin tell by how set our faces iz. We meens bidness!”

[…]

Then he axed, “were da baffroom be at?”

[…]

BLACK SCUM.

[…]

No, they walked out because they heard there was a watermellon truck that over-turned on South Capital street.

[…]

House Niggas

[…]

When they do this as a group they display their COLLECTIVE ignorance , put these animals back in cages

[…]

Betcha they would have stayed if there would have been free chicken & ribs being served inside…….WHAT YOU TALKING BOUT, WILLIS??????????

You might be wondering about the hater who wrote, “Uh, in Texas, those designations never went out of style. And what Yankees call a “slingshot” still goes by its original name here.”

Of course. And I am so sick of people whining about the idea of a black caucus as if it's some proof of a racial double standard. Quit the crying assholes.

If you have trouble with the concept of black people participating in politics, you have a problem with the black caucus...

Better prepare the beaches, there's probably a second wave coming in soon:

Michelle Obama cites Jesus as a model for Democratic Organizing

First lady Michelle Obama Thursday offered a rare public reflection on her religious faith, telling a conference of the African Methodist Episcopal church that the life of Jesus Christ is a model for democratic organizing.
"It's kind of like church," Obama said. "Our faith journey isn't just about showing up on Sunday for a good sermon and good music and a good meal. It's about what we do Monday through Saturday as well, especially in those quiet moments, when the spotlight's not on us, and we're making those daily choices about how to live our lives.

"We see that in the life of Jesus Christ. Jesus didn't limit his ministry to the four walls of the church," she said. "He was out there fighting injustice and speaking truth to power every single day. He was out there spreading a message of grace and redemption to the least, the last, and the lost. And our charge is to find Him everywhere, every day by how we live our lives."

I just love how he thinks borrowing 20 grand is no sweat. I mean if you're extremely privileged like Mitt was and his sons were, it is, but for the vast majority of us borrowing 20 grand isn't exactly easy. This is why I laugh at him when he tries to claim Obama is the real elitist. Dude, Obama unlike yourself wasn't pampered from the get go and going to exclusive prep schools. Plus he again assumes that everyone should be in business like he was and all else will be gravy. Some of us want nothing to do with business. Business is something that bores me.

re: #29 Mostly sane, most of the time.

If you're trying to get into the legal profession or a business school for MBA, it's a mess. The law schools keep hiking tuition, even as job opportunities that can make repaying the loans are drying up (think implosion of Dewey Ballentine, consolidation of big firms, etc.).

Well over 90% of law students wont get into the big firms. All the rest are going to have struggles to repay their loans. Heck a friend of mine who is now in a big firm had all kinds of issues repaying when he first started out; worked for a govt corp counsel before going into a firm.

And some parts of the practice don't pay well at all (public interest, environmental, etc.) So, as tuition heads towards nosebleed territory, students are coming out with $120k+ in law school debt (not counting whatever they had for undergrad and/or other education). That's a huge chunk of change.

re: #36 Kragar

I was a triple major with a double minor as an undergrad and came out with only $6,000 in debt that was 1992. But when I went to graduate school twice, that piled on the debt. The two MA's definitely helped me get work, but I have not yet paid off my student loans. I know I will eventually, I have around 2 years left in payments. My first MA was obtained in 1994 and the Second in 1996. And I attended the University of Washington a state university. I can't even imagine the kind of debt students are taking on now, mine is bad enough.

So now, the only course left to the GOP is the one they sure as fuck didn't want, which is for Issa to file suit to have the courts overturn the EP and force the DoJ to turn over the subpoenaed documents to his committee. Which means time and money wasted fighting out a court battle that will take years and very likely go absolutely nowhere before the GOP cries uncle and settles.

Issa won't back down. Its an ego trip for him now.

I skipped college, got trained by the military and paid for my own certifications ever since. Glad I dodged the student loan bullet.

Never finished high school myself.

I suppose that's one way to avoid student debt.

"This decision will sink Obama! The country hates Obamacare!"

Gallup: Only 6 Percent Cite Health Care As Top Problem In U.S.

Poll: Americans Evenly Split On SCOTUS Health Care Reform Decision

There's some mighty fine cognitive dissonce there since the man who wrote teh majority decision is the very man that Republicans have been using as a model USSC justice. I guess he lost his prestige the minute he decided to rule in something that helped Obama.

Justice Department shields Holder from prosecution after contempt vote

Bringing up Brian Terry is turning in to the Fox angle on this. But he's dead, so they say, "What does Brian Terry's family think of this?" Even if it was a Fast and Furious gun that killed him, which is unknown, how does this make his family's opinion of Issa's witch hunt relevant?

Anyone who has been paying attention here knows I care deeply about the Border Patrol, and I'm very sorry that Brian Terry died, and I'm sorry for his family. They have the right to their opinion and their audience for it, but they should know that many of their supporters are like ticks sucking whatever value they can get out of the situation in the name of getting Holder, getting Obama, and/or making the issue of gun control an effective means of congressional control and a means to make more money (in some cases, by selling lots of guns that end up in the hands of the cartels. Is that irony?).

It's not the actual public belief that matters, it's the PERCEIVED public belief.

As long as the GOP propaganda machine keeps telling us the majority of Americans favor repeal, they move closer and closer to establishing that "fact" as truth, regardless of whether it actually is or not.

Gotta agree with that. Obama's team needs to get out the message and get it out well.

They've been pounding that particular point since '10 and haven't yet been able to go better than 60% in any poll I've seen. That it's 2012 and they've got the view on this decision split at best tells me that folks are slowly coming to recognize the benefits of the ACA and realize that the fear of a tax 2 years from now isn't all that horrible.

You gotta think though with it being some 2 years since ACA has passed and people know that their current health care wasn't taken away from them that the GOP and Tea Party was playing them all for a bunch of suckers. Or maybe I'm just optimistic. I think it was easier to exploit fears about ACA in its immediate aftermath than it will now after the USSC has upheld its constitutionality and people have seen that it has real, tangible benefits for the country. Of course, there will be some that will hate it regardless.

What a bunch of fucking babies. Yeah our Constitution died the day the court upheld that a health care plan that Richard Nixon would have thought didn't go far enough not when the court upheld the legality of slavery or the constitutionality of incarnating people because of their heritage (Koramatsu versus US) or uphold separation by skin color in Plessy.

88 dragonfire1981  Fri, Jun 29, 2012 1:35:07pm

I for one, I have no problem paying a bit of money towards the health care of others.

Some seriously creepy shit, there.

It was a simple premise, to create some sock accounts and then casually mention Twitter personality @shoq in the tweets, while also mentioning some of the Twitter higher-ups, such as Costolo, Biz Stone (@biz), Jack Dorsey (@jack) and Delbius, (@delbius).

The stalkers don't think of their victims as people.

re: #88 dragonfire1981

Well, if you are currently paying for your own health insurance (directly or by and through your employer) then you are paying for the health care of others.

The IM provision doesn't impose the tax on those who already have insurance - only on those who don't opt into the insurance exchanges if they don't have insurance coverage otherwise.

In the #TwitterGulag thread, they're actually starting to accuse Dick Costolo and Biz Stone of being in on the conspiracy.

re: #14 Mostly sane, most of the time.

I read most of Uncle Tom's Cabin on Wednesday for a class I'm teaching this fall. (Civil War history).

Cried all day, because I'm a sucker for sad books. Most of the book is actually about the pain of families being split up. I didn't know--never having bothered to read it-- SPOILER ALERT STOP HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW--that Uncle Tom is beaten to death in the end.

Not feeling like giving this a pass.

It's a heartrending book, even given that some of the Victorian sentimentality has not aged well.
