Breitbrat Ben Shapiro Pens Nutty Rant Against Lena Dunham

Ben’s blue nose is way out of joint
Wingnuts • Views: 36,556

Even conservative journalists now think breitbart.com has become a bad joke, but they can still be inadvertently hilarious. Ben Shapiro’s nutty, painfully incoherent rant against the pro-Obama Lena Dunham video is today’s case in point: Obama Campaign to Girls: Have Sex With Vote for O.

Yes, she just compared sex with voting. And she mocked virgins - “No, I didn’t vote, I wasn’t ready.” And she said that Barack Obama’s the guy she’d rather have sex - er, vote - with. She actually saved herself for Barack Obama (she’s 26) - she could have swiped her V(oting)-card with John Kerry, but he was too limp a candidate, apparently. A real flip-flopper.

So she chose to do it for the first time with Barack Obama, since he “cares about and understands women.” In fact, he understands them so well that he exploits them for insane commercials comparing losing your virginity with voting. Obama has young daughters. But that didn’t stop him from releasing this commercial. Because this is what Obama thinks of your daughters. This is Obama’s official campaign ad. Paid for with his campaign money.

Distributed by his campaign. If this ad were any more demeaning to women - who apparently care only about having sex, if you listen to Lena “You Want To Do It” Dunham — it would be produced by Bill Maher and star Bill Clinton.

These people are very weird.

She did not compare sex to voting, she just talked about voting. And in doing so aroused all the prerile fantasies that lurk in the minds of these right wing creeps and got them all hot under the collar...

Honestly, those nutters are sufficiently predictable that I think part of the purpose of this advertisement was to intentionally provoke them into spewing bad crazy.

Nothing marginalizes better than crazy.

He needs to get laid and relax. Really it was a harmless little ad. And as pointed out downstairs Reagan made a similar joke about voting Republican for the first time. I'd rather think about Lena Dunham than Ronald Reagan in that way.

Ronald Reagan Made A ‘First Time’ Voting Joke 32 Years Before Lena Dunham Did

On Thursday night, at a working class bar in Bayonne, N.J., Reagan said, “I know what it’s like to pull the Republican lever for the first time, because I used to be a Democrat myself, and I can tell you it only hurts for a minute and then it feels just great.”

Are they bothered by this because it goes against their morality? Or because they think it is an effective Obama vote getter?

Of course, it's not real moral outrage. As someone pointed out on the thread about Erickson being outraged and using biblical verses and claiming we're destined for hell that this is a guy who has described a Supreme Court justice as a goat fucking child molester. Erickson not Shapiro to clarify but I'm sure Shapiro isn't Mr. Proper either.

If this ad were any more demeaning to women...

From the comments:

My first time voting was amazing. It was this line in the sand. Before I was a girl. Now I was a woman. I went to the polling station and pulled back the curtain. I voted for Barack Obama.

But now my relatives are ashamed of me, my own father can't look me in the eye. When I enter a room the conversation stops, I here whispers of "She...voted...for.......Obama!" All around town the cool guys are laughing and calling me a filthy Obama voter and telling me theres nothing quite as skanky as a white girl who votes Obama. I always heard once you go Obama, you'll never go back, but I didn't realize that's because once I voted for Obama no other candidate would ever have me. I'm damaged goods, maybe I should just end it all.

Ben is very very worried about girls hanging around with black guys that won't appreciate them rather than nice white boys with a respectable writing job at Breitbart.com.

Also, a lady making a sex joke is just a horrid and woman-hating as anything Mourdock, Akin, or about twenty other rape-apologist victim-blaming Republicans have said, so really this shows that Barack Obama hates women.

British ExxonMobil oil chief 'assassinated' in Brussels street

Belgian police have imposed a news blackout after Nicholas Mockford, 60, was shot as he left an Italian restaurant in Neder-over-Heembeek, a suburb of the capital.

The executive was shot three times, once as he lay on the ground, after leaving the Da Marcello restaurant in Rue de Beyseghem at around 10pm on Oct 14.

His wife, Mary, was left beaten and covered in blood. Mr Mockford died on the way to hospital.

Witnesses said they saw the couple walk across the street to their car, a silver Lexus 4x4, before shots were fired.

The attack was said to have happened very quickly and Mrs Mockford was left cradling her husband in the street, shouting for help. According to reports, two men were seen running away carrying a motorcycle helmet.

Beck: 'I'm Sorry America, but Your President is a Liar'

On Wednesday night's program, Glenn Beck spent the entire hour laying out a rather confusing theory about how the Obama administration has systemically lied about the attack in Benghazi, Libya as part of an attempt to cover of the fact that has been secretly arming Syrian rebels for the benefit of al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The entire program was an epic performance of conspiracy and delusion driven by an amazing lack of self-awareness as Beck said that someone who will so willingly and unapologetically lie to his audience must either "have deep psychological problems" or be totally insane, eventually getting very serious and quite to declare "I'm sorry America, but your president is a liar" and dramatically walking off camera:

"Beck said that someone who will so willingly and unapologetically lie to his audience must either "have deep psychological problems" or be totally insane"

I went to the link at the top and RTWT. It's actually pretty fucking offensive.

First it was Big Bird. Then it was binders. Then it was bayonets. Now it’s about birth control.

According to Barack Obama, this campaign isn’t about the economy. Or foreign policy. It’s about free birth control as advocated by unbelievably wealthy celebrities. If Obama goes any smaller in this campaign, we’re going to need a microscope to find him.

And God knows that women don’t want to have sex – er, vote – with a small candidate. In fact, they might prefer a candidate who provides, say, jobs. Or an economy that’s not a disaster area. Or perhaps consulates full of live ambassadors.

But at least Dunham got one thing right. The folks who vote for Barack Obama want voting without consequences.

It's the damn Republicans who want to think that the consequences of sex always fall to the woman, especially if it's rape.

79 Kragar  Fri, Oct 26, 2012 12:32:23pm

Rick Perry just fucked every woman in Texas

A federal appeals court ruled Thursday that Texas may proceed to pull funding for more than half of the women’s health clinics across the state due to their affiliation with privately funded clinics that perform abortions.

As a result of Thursday’s decision by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Gov. Rick Perry (R) said that state officials will “immediately” begin defunding clinics operated by Planned Parenthood, which does not actually perform any abortions in the state.

Perry announced earlier this year that he’d made defunding Planned Parenthood a priority for his administration, triggering months of legal wrangling with the clinics and the federal government. Federal law requires that states not discriminate against health providers in distributing federal funds, but a court ultimately ruled that Texas could forgo federal assistance entirely and set up its own health program.

That’s precisely what Perry is doing, passing on more than $40 million in federal assistance and directing the state to exclude Planned Parenthood, which provides health care services to more than 130,000 low-income women in Texas. Planned Parenthood has 49 health centers across Texas, many of which will be forced to close due to Perry’s decision.

Oh

It was 1972, for Nixon.

1984 (worked for the Anderson Campaign in '80 but couldn't vote at 17) when I held my nose a voted for Reagan because I refused to vote for Mondale due to his leading the gutting of NASA in the 70's. Even though I was far to the left economicaly than old Wally, I just couldn't forgive him the short sighted penny pinching that led to the monstrosity of the shuttle instead of a real space program.

As for the other, I'd love to see Holly again... :)

1996 - Clinton
2000 - W (because I couldn't stand Gore)
2004 - W (because I bought the GOP lines about Kerry)
2008 - McCain (again because I toed the GOP line with regards to Obama, but also because I respected McCain, even after the wheels came off before Election Day with regards to Palin)

This year, however, I will vote for President Obama's re-election, because I've had four years to see what he's all about; that versus the spiteful, mean-spirited, obstructionist DERP-o-rama that the GOP has devolved into makes it a no-brainer for me.

Rapture seems like best case scenario to America's upcoming implosion

The Rapture seems like the best case scenario, that the Lord would remove his people, his church prior to the implosion of the United States, but I do think that if implosion of America hasn’t happened by the time of the Rapture that the Rapture will cause…you mention one example in your list was foreclosure, and the whole concept of foreclosure is that people can’t pay their mortgages, and therefore banks get stuck with debt when that happens in thousands, in hundreds of thousands of cases banks go under and this has a ripple effect on the economy. Well, imagine the foreclosure problems the day after the Rapture, when thirty million homeowners disappear—this is the end of the American economic system as we know it. And I go through a wider range of scenarios that would come with the Rapture here in the United States, but I think it’s possible that God might cause or allow the implosion of the United States to begin before the Rapture.

Just did something I've been meaning to do for a long time - set up a caching system for the comments on older posts, after they're closed for further comments.

This should take a big load off the database server, when search engines and other bots start crawling through the site. Now, instead of pulling the comments for those pages out of the database, they're read from the cache as static files.

For anyone who looks to RCP for their polling averages, here's a helpful reminder of RealClearPolitics' history: November 6, 2000 -RCP Electoral College Analysis: Bush 446 Gore 92 Bush 51.2 Gore 41.8 Nader 5.7

CNN/USA Today/Gallup, MSNBC/Zogby and Newsweek have done a nice job closing the polls for Vice President Gore. All three polls now have Gore within two points and supposedly gaining. We'll see Tuesday whether the propaganda campaign to keep Democrats from becoming disillusioned and voting for Nader was successful in diluting the size of the Bush victory.

As we have said all along, Gore needed to close to within 2% in our RCP Composites to have a realistic chance to win. He has not done so. (RCP Tracking Composite Bush 47.3 Gore 41.2, RCP National Poll Composite Bush 47.0 Gore 42.8) George W. Bush will be elected President of the United States tomorrow by the American people. But the last minute Gore push in some polls has perhaps given enough liberal Democrats hope to not waste their vote on Nader.

The real debate is not who is going to win the election, but whether Bush will win 308 electoral votes or 474 electoral votes. The media's fantasy of Bush winning the popular vote and losing the electoral college is not going happen. The worst case scenario for a Bush victory will be a 2-3 point win in the popular vote and 10-20% more than the necessary 270 EC votes.

Spain jobless spillover worries neighbors

Spain's spiraling unemployment and a simultaneous increase in the number of Spanish and other citizens fleeing the country in search of better prospects are worrying neighbors of the economically troubled nation.

[...]

The National Statistics Institute estimates about 1 million people have left Spain since January 2011 and the trend is intensifying.

Officials said the departure of many migrants to their home countries in Africa and Latin America could ease Spain's immediate burden of the jobless but analysts said the exodus of skilled and qualified Spaniards would affect Spain's economic recovery.

About half of those leaving Spain in the period belonged to the 18-28-year age group, the institute's data showed.

Spanish population depleted from about 47,153,000 to about 46,117,000 over a 21-month period covered by the report.

Joyner: Obama Administration Committing 'Serious Persecution against Christians'

Charisma Magazine has posted Rick Joyner’s weekly update where he claims that anti-Christian persecution in America has greatly accelerated under the Obama administration. Of course Joyner doesn’t have any real evidence to make such a specious claim besides arguing that the Shepard-Byrd hate crimes law “specifically targets Christians,” still insisting that the government is just itching to use the 2009 law to arrest pastors, ban the Bible and censor speech. He also warned that “serious persecution against Christians in America “will come from the U.S. officials who are committing acts of “treason” by trying to “subject Americans to international laws and the U.N. resolutions”; naturally, Joyner did not name specific international codes that will soon be imposed on America.

Saudi Arabia might be a better judge in this than you and I.

There is very good reason for it to come up. Our defense sales and agreements. Just inconvenient, as in nuanced. Romney does not want to explain to his "Obama is a secret Muslim" base that we have sold not so secret Saudi Arabia a lot of weapons, and not because they are worried about Israel. They are worried about Iran and it's pet terrorist brigades. If Saudi Arabias only enemy was Israel would we still sell them weapons that are so advanced? I doubt it. Who else is a credible threat to Saudi besides Iran now?

We have not one but two important allies that fear Iran. That's another reason.

Um, okay. Show me Saudi Arabia being worried that Iran will nuke them, please.

Also, conventional forces aren't really useful against 'pet terrorist brigades', so that's not much of a reason to sell stuff to Saudi Arabia. Luckily, the US doesn't need a reason, we sell crap all over the place.

We have not one but two important allies that fear Iran. That's another reason.

Another reason for what? I've totally lost what you're saying here. I'm asking why Iran would nuke Saudi Arabia, and you're saying we sell Saudi Arabia weapons.

Please detail any scenario whereby Iran gains anything at all, in any way, in any fashion, from nuking Saudi Arabia.

244 Daniel Ballard  Fri, Oct 26, 2012 3:50:29pm

re: #243 Obdicut

From the top
Saudi concern about a nuclear armed Iran is clearly implicit in the link I gave you above.

Conventional forces are very good at bombing terror brigade forces when gathered, or their bases & supplies. Ground forces are good at storming terrorists holed up in buildings or around oil facilities.

And to explain-Another reason Saudi Arabia should come up in foreign policy discussions and debates. 1.The weapon sales and 2.our various agreements with them. Two reasons to discuss Saudi Arabia in policy discussions vis a vis Iran.

Your last request has a premise I do not accept-That war can't happen without good reason. As if events can't spin out of control between strategic opponents. Conventional or nuclear.

Yes, Saudi Arabia doesn't want Iran to have nukes. You do realize that doesn't at all imply they're worried about those nukes being used on them, right?

Conventional forces are very good at bombing terror brigade forces when gathered, or their bases & supplies. Ground forces are good at storming terrorists holed up in buildings or around oil facilities.

That's nice. So in your world, Iran is going to send 'terror brigades' to Saudi Arabia, and that's why we need to send them conventional weapons, so that they can bomb them?

Your last request has a premise I do not accept-That war can't happen without good reason. As if events can't spin out of control between strategic opponents. Conventional or nuclear.

So, in other words, no, you cannot actually detail a scenario whereby Iran gains anything from nuking Saudi Arabia. I didn't think so. Thank you.

Fine. Back to work {groan} but several more steps to take

Left kidney (the one they took the stone out of) is still swollen more than the urologist would like it to be 3 weeks after the operation

2 small stones still in the right kidney which he hopes will pass on their own,, MEANING,, at least two more episodes of excruciating pain

Thanks for asking

It'll make a man out of you. A whimpering, puking, man begging for drugs.

Just a little condescending there at the end Obdi. Nice job of setting up the questions so it would take either a real classified intel briefing to answer in sufficient detail, or speculation about the future, always easy to dismiss. Not really intellectually sound IMO, but very well played indeed.

But you have forgotten how powerful a threat is from a nuclear armed nation and how that can shape events in said nations favor.

My work day is done off to my weekend. Nice sparring again Obdicut. It had been a while.

No, dude. That isn't me. I'm trying to hammer through the point that Saudi Arabia is not worried about Iran nuking them. They don't want them to acquire a nuke because it'll give Iran more power and negotiating ability on the world stage. It is not because they are worried about Iran directly attacking them.

But you have forgotten how powerful a threat is from a nuclear armed nation and how that can shape events in said nations favor.

No, I haven't. And it's not really the threat, it's the deterrent. It's not that they can threaten to nuke people it's that they could threaten to retaliate with nukes if they were invaded.

Which also brings to mind the sweet, silly irony of the focus on Iraq while North Korea just plodded ahead with its nuke program.

If we really, really thought that invading a rogue nation to stop them from getting nukes was worthwhile, we would have invaded North Korea.

re: #217 Daniel Ballard

That list keeps growing. On M.E. policy-Ever notice how only Israel comes up as concerned about Iran? So how is it that Saudi Arabia who has just as much to lose in the event of Iran with nuclear warheads and medium range ballistic missiles never ever comes up in the campaigns or party planks?

Saudi assumes that we will take care of it for them, I suppose.

re: #243 Obdicut

It's been speculated very widely that the Saudis will move to get nuclear arms if Iran manages it.

Probably, if they're not already doing it.

Why invade when you can just wreck the program? Israel did not invade Iraq, but they set them back a long ways. Osirak. I agree we should have been more active with NK.

Attack and strike what you must, no invasion really needed.

re: #255 Obdicut

If they are not, and there is as yet no evidence they are... It's in no small part due to our promise to defend them and equip them to maintain a credible conventional deterrent. Good policy IMO, that from what you wrote earlier you may not approve of.

Osirak was much less dug in than the Iranian program, it seems.

My feeling is that the best thing right now is if the program can be set back a year every six months or so...sabotage racks up a much lower death toll than outright war.

Deterrent to what and who? You've never made that clear.

And no, I don't support our alliance with Saudi Arabia, a country that spews anti-Semitic propaganda like Linda Blair spewed pea soup, finances terrorists, and viciously oppresses its own citizenry.

If we were actually doing anything to reform them, maybe, but we're not, we're just supporting them tactically.

They will eventually have nukes, if they want them. So will anyone. Technology marches on. We can't put the genie back in the bottle.
