sleep my little romney, sleep
nobody will reach out to you anymore with grubby, importunate fingers
no more rude questions from People Who Don't Know
no more Leadership
sleep now, just dreamless sleep
sleep safe behind your sturdy wall of money
know only quiet voices and deference
dreamless sleep, because you have dreamed all your dreams up
what is there left for you to dream, my little romney?
will you write a book about the emptiness?
build houses for the ungrateful multitude with your bare hands?
i thought not
where is there for you to rest?
only too-soft beds of needing nothing, wanting nothing, and having nothing left to strive for
an exquisitely upholstered hell
please surprise us, romney, and build a worthy mountain to climb, a noble thought that, succeed or fail
will let us think of you without shaking our heads at the pointlessness of it all

That xkcd makes the point that the bottom half of the country has 1/39th the wealth of the top half. Add to that the fact that the bottom 40% have less than $500 savings each, this highlights how obscene the Republican's/FOX News' drive to raise taxes on the lower half is, and that horrible lie that the bottom half "doesn't pay taxes"... (everyone knows the distinction between payroll taxes and income taxes is an arbitrary legalistic nothing)
By the way, I didn't notice Grover Norquest complaining when the Republicans talked about raising the payroll tax - when they're against "tax" they don't mean tax on poor people.

Wow, Breitbart.com is really out there today. ACORN, another phony Obama bowing scandal (they never get tired of this one!), and this hopelessly muddled post: Does Susan Rice Lack Important Leadership Skills?
This is what passes for analysis in the Breitbart zone.
If Susan Rice did, in fact, personally disagree with the statements she was asked to present to the nation on September 16th, then, without any additional information from her about how she came to make her comments, it is logical to conclude that she agreed to provide the “video” reason for the attacks because she was acting in obedience to the Obama administration. In that case, Susan Rice may be a woman who is dependent upon the administration, without confidence in her own critical thinking skills.
Either way, lacking in critical thinking skills or dependent on the Obama administration, it seems prudent to be guarded about Rice’s leadership abilities.
Uh, what?
27 | Charles Johnson Sat, Nov 24, 2012 1:24:47pm |
If Rice is indeed telling the truth, then did it not occur to her that it would appear odd, at best, that four U.S. diplomats would be killed over an obscure web movie?
Yeah, it's unbelievably strange that Islamic extremists would get violent about an insult to their religion! As if!

Register poor people to vote? I assume that was their crime.
I have trouble making out what point O'Keefe was trying to make by wandering into community support organizations and acting like a moron pretending to be a pimp... I guess the narrative was that poor people, blacks, democrats etc. are all morally inferior whores or something.
I feel like you have to be a racist to even be able to watch those videos let alone get excited by them.
Yet they worked. They even got congressional Republicans off their asses.
Sigh.
