Newtown School Massacre Updates
Here’s another thread to keep up with breaking news from the horrific school shootings in Newtown, Connecticut. CNN’s Lisa Desjardins just posted this awful news:
NEWTON: source tells John King that deaths at school are closer to 30 than 20 and that it is “mostly children”.

The shooter was a 20-year old man, dressed all in black. When police visited the man’s home in New Jersey, they discovered one of his parents fatally shot.
The shooter has been identified as Ryan Lanza. (Correction @ 1:19: AP now confirms that the shooter’s name was Adam Lanza.)
A Facebook page for a “Ryan Lanza” in Hoboken, being circulated all over the Internet, now appears to be unconnected to the shooter:
