Ludicrous Breitbart Post of the Day: Politico’s ‘Hitler Photo’

Extra-stupid
Wingnuts • Views: 23,642

breitbart.com editor John Nolte is possibly the most dishonest writer at that right wing hate site, and that’s really saying something. Today he’s busily pumping out pro-gun propaganda, and his latest is a classic in the genre of stupid: POLITICO RUNS ‘HITLER PHOTO’ OF NRA CHIEF!

The above is the lead photo and story on Politico right now.

Although there were dozens of cameras at today’s press conference, in order to post their “Hitler pose,” Politico had to grab a photo that wasn’t even taken at today’s event.

Our media’s filled with horrible people, isn’t it?

Of course, it’s obvious that LaPierre’s raised fist is nothing like a Nazi salute, which is performed with an open hand and a straight arm. But Nolte knows this; he’s just trying to rile up the knuckle-draggers who consume his swill, and doesn’t care that anyone with at least two functioning brain cells can see right through the BS.

As for “horrible people,” remember that John Nolte is the breitbart.com editor who has publicly called for teachers to be “murdered:”

They're just showing LaPierre exercising his right to bare arm. What's the big deal?

Arming teachers would, at least, make it harder for Breitbart editor John Nolte to murder them.

What's the matter John? Pissed off that Wayne can do Gangnam style better than you? /

I'm surprised no one has pointed out that there were armed guards at Columbine in 1999.

I can't retweet it myself because he has me blocked.

re: #7 Jaerik

It's been pointed out repeatedly that there were armed guards, but some gun advocates are claiming that having those guards was proof that the plan to arm even more campuses will reduce mass murders on campuses, though it's not exactly clear how.

Virginia Tech had an entire police force for its campus, but that didn't prevent the massacre there. Cops on the Columbine campus didn't stop the mass murder either. It's arguable that the police confronting the gunmen at Columbine may have saved some lives - but it didn't prevent the attack in the first place.

On a side note, can anyone explain to me why the GOP blocking Rice was/is seen by everyone as making Kerry an inevitable choice for State?

I can't understand why Obama would put a senate seat at risk, and I can't understand why the GOP seemed to think that blocking Rice would force him to do so.

Listening to LePierre's comments from today. He's all over the place.

Actually, it looks a lot more like a Black Panther salute than a Nazi one.

Hitler did in fact arm school children and many of their teachers, though, so I don't see what the Breitbrat's problem is with this picture.

Bloomberg On NRA Presser: ‘A Shameful Evasion Of The Crisis Facing Our Country’

In a statement released by his office on Friday, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg castigated the press conference held earlier in the day by leaders of the National Rifle Association, who he accused of engaging in "a shameful evasion of the crisis facing our country"

Actually, it looks a lot more like a Black Panther salute than a Nazi one.

Or a Communist one. Or the Black Hand (Уједињење или смрт - the group that Gavrilio Princip was in)
