It’s just like the Marxist Kenyan Islamist usurper to not even be able to do the “Hook ‘Em Horns” sign correctly!

I have to admit, I was very nervous when the PotUS was walking Penn. Ave.
Can’t imagine the stress on the SS.

We, the people, still believe that our obligations as Americans are not just to ourselves, but to all posterity. We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations. (Applause.) Some may still deny the overwhelming judgment of science, but none can avoid the devastating impact of raging fires and crippling drought and more powerful storms

Welcome words to my ears..

Funny what you learn about a person, only after they die. My godfather:

Berger started his career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation just as World War II began to intensify in Europe.

It was 1941, and Berger joined the FBI as he was finishing his degree at Benjamin Franklin University in Washington, D.C., according to Tribune files.

Berger, who died Saturday at the age of 92, became a special agent in 1943. During World War II, he served on the Criminal Investigation Division of the Army in Germany and attended the Nuremberg Trials following the war.

He was then assigned to the Indianapolis bureau in 1950 and ended up stationed in South Bend. He retired in 1975.

His son, Don Berger, a local attorney, remembered his father as “straight shooter” for the FBI. “He loved being an agent,” Don Berger said Monday afternoon.

Harold Berger specialized in embezzlement cases, according to Tribune clippings from the 1970s. In a May 16, 1971, interview, he recounted his adventure on Halloween of 1967 when he directed a group in the arrest of a team of bank robbers armed with machine guns.

to me, he was just this really great old man.

Yeah, my mom keeps telling more and more stories about her dad as time goes on. He was a real character. I wish my dad would talk more about his dad.

Oh, and evening Lizardim. Hope everyone is staying warm, as the wild north country is in the throes of the annual winter deep freeze.
