#TGDN: A Firehose of Hate Against the President of the United States

Popular right wing Twitter hashtag filled with hatred and threats
Wingnuts • Views: 30,943

Previously, we have featured The Godwins of TGDN and Calls to Overthrow the Government by TGDN, and The Scammers of TGDN.

There are three recurring memes that show up over and over. One is GUNZ!1! One is Benghazi!1! and the most disturbing is the deranged hate directed against the President of the United States.

Ever since we first noticed this:

The repeated threats and demonization of the democratically elected leader of the free world inside a closed group of deranged fanatics, WITH A BUNCH OF GUNS, should be closely monitored.

I hope the Secret Service is paying attention.

Much more from the #TGDN hashtag in the comments below…

The #TGDN firing squad is getting rather circular. There has been an epic pissing match all day between Todd Kincannon and his critics:

This guy is heading for an emotional breakdown when the wingnuts feeding his ego are no longer in his thrall. You can be stupid and feel good about yourself for a long time as long as other stupid people love you, but if anyone starts to really look at the bizarre things you’re saying, you’re going to come crashing down.

When the current madness passes, everyone will still remember what this man is and how he profited from their ignorance, I really look forward to his meltdown.

Pro tip: Notice how the excerpt of text from your post shows up in the tweet — only the text from the link in your first sentence shows up, which looks a bit odd. It’s a good idea to start every post with a strong opening sentence because that is what will be displayed on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, etc. They all grab the first thing they see.

You’ll shoot your wallet out, kid.

Defense attorney Mark O’Mara and client George Zimmerman have spent their way through more than $300,000 in donations and are desperate for more funds.

…The National Rifle Association has not contributed, O’Mara said, even though Zimmerman has become a hero to guns rights advocates.

“They say, ‘We really wish him luck, but we don’t want to be tied to him,’ ” O’Mara said.

Naw, no flounce. I called him out on deleting this page so that he could make the claim that he never said that those Ethiopian women were lying. In that thread he clearly took the doctor’s presentation as fact, that the women were lying because they didn’t want their husbands to know they were on birth control. Then he called me a liar, said somebody else had deleted the page, and called me a liar again.

After than he started memory holing his recent pages en masse.

I guess the only question is, did he delete the linked page or was that done for him? I’d hate to have accused him unfairly.

Untrue, Varek. You can’t buy any gun in Illinois without first obtaining a photo ID from the state police called a Firearms Owner Identification Card (FOID). My state doesn’t have law gun laws.

Pretty darn easy to burn the cities. Cut their power. Every large metropolitan area in this country needs massive amounts of electrical power to exist. And not one of them has the capability to generate any significant portion of their demand. NIMBY. So they depend on the high voltage lines leading to their cities. Take out a few of those and…

The best way to do that is taking out the high voltage transformers near the city end of those lines. They are oil-filled, and a few holes in their cases near the bottom will take them out of action. And there are no spares, so they will not be replaced for quite some time. Once they beef up security around the remaining transformers, take out some corner towers on the high voltage lines leading to the cities. The vertical members at the outside of each corner are under significant tension, so cutting through them will not bind the saw. The tower will fall to the inside of the corner, and should take at least two adjoining towers out as well. Of course, there are backup generators at some locations in those cities, but most skyscrapers will not have working elevators, and electrically powered rail won’t run. And can you imagine how much fun the feral chimps will have when there is no power? Ah, the joys of “Snake Plissken” and “Escape from New York”, brought to life!

Get it looked at. If you have any serious damage, the sooner it’s treated the better. At the least, get yourself put into a compression brace.

I wouldn’t. I’m not an ortho, but if it’s not fractured (weight bearing etc), then xray is not necessary and it’s a matter of rest, ice and elevation. Compression should be gentle - compression braces, unless individually fitted, may just press on nerves that are already compressed from swelling and cause more lingering neuropathy.

Changing colour, loss of sensation, loss of pulses etc warrants intervention.

I used to hear about the frothing-at-the-mouth Clinton-haters back in the 90s, but I think we have to generalize that term to frothing-at-the-mouth Democrat-haters. These people are profoundly undemocratic as they only believe in election to public office of candidates for the Republican Party, & do their best to delegitimize & demonize any person elected to the office of the POTUS in particular. The fact that Barack Obama is black just brings out the racists in addition to the frothing-at-the-mouth or FATM Dem-haters (FATMDH?) which swells the population somewhat. My immediate conclusion is that all these people are crazier than shit-house rats.

Updating on the AZ shooting - 1 dead, 2 injured from gunshot wounds, 3 others injured. Gunman still on loose.

Arthur Douglas Harmon, the suspect in the deadly Wednesday office building shooting, fled the scene in a white vehicle and fired shots at a witness who was giving chase, Phoenix police said.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson said officers are now searching for Harmon’s 2013 Kia Optima, license plate AVS 2052, and that Harmon is considered armed and dangerous.

He is suspected of shooting three people, one fatally, in an attack at a three-story office building at 7310 N. 16th Street. Three others were were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Steven D. Singer, 48, the CEO of Fusion Contact Centers, a Scottsdale call center, was killed. He had been attending a mediation in a law firm at the office building.

A 32-year-old female suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Mark Hummels, a partner with Osborn Maledon and president of the Phoenix chapter of the Federal Bar Association, also was wounded, said Larry Hammond, a partner with the firm. Hummels, who was shot in the neck and lower back, is in critical condition.

He also was wounded after leaving a mediation session, according to an e-mail from Andrea Marconi, a lawyer with Fennemore Craig and president-elect of the Federal Bar Association.

“The latest information I have is that Mark has a strong pulse after surgery and the doctors are optimistic about his recovery, so this is encouraging news,” she wrote in the e-mail to members of the Phoenix legal community and obtained by The Arizona Republic.

Officers believe the two men were the intended targets.

Sgt. Steve Martos said officers are looking at several possible motives.

Prominent Conservative Leader Once Ran White Supremacist Group

A new report by Mother Jones reveals that James B. Taylor, a prominent conservative movement leader and board member for the Young America’s Foundation, once served as vice president of a white supremacist group.

Taylor’s bio notes that he is “chairman of World Youth Crusade [for Freedom] and former executive director and chief of staff of Young America’s Foundation.” It also includes that he was once public relations director for the anti-labor union National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation. It does not mention, however, that he also served as vice president of the National Policy Institute, a tax-exempt group than aims to be the lobby for “White Americans—our country’s historic majority and founding population—the people that bears the unique heritage of Europe, Christianity, cultural excellence, and the scientific awakening.” During Taylor’s time with the group, the white-nationalist foundation, founded in 2005 by right-wing publisher William Regnery, published a report arguing that “integration and the civil rights movement led directly to the destruction of great cities; and to millions of whites suffering terrible injustices, including assault, robbery, rape and murder, and losing everything they had through the ensuing destruction of their neighborhoods and their property values.”

From African-Americans to illegal immigrants—from lesbians to left-handers—every ethnic and interest group has its own lobby or cultural foundation.

The exception is White Americans—our country’s historic majority and founding population—the people that bears the unique heritage of Europe, Christianity, cultural excellence, and the scientific awakening.

And there are our peculiar folkways—holidays, traditions, and customs—that make us both uniquely European and uniquely American.

Our school children are special targets in a culture war—they are taught that their parents and ancestors were little but exploiters and victimizers of innocents. Public institutions named for such Founding Fathers as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are being renamed for the likes of Malcolm X and Cesar Chavez. No individual American president is deemed worthy of his own pubic holiday; Martin Luther King Jr. is.

The Young America Foundation, on whose nine-member board of directors Taylor sits, is a powerful force in the conservative movement. The group runs the Ronald Reagan ranch in Santa Barbara, CA, helped create the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), and operates a center aimed at teaching journalists “the values of balanced, responsible, and accurate reporting.” Twice-defeated former Sen. George Allen (R-VA) and former Attorney General Edwin Meese (R) are both affiliated with the organization.

POTATO CAKES with a mixture of Arby and Horsey Sauce.

Do these potato cakes have freedom? If they’re not Freedom Cakes I don’t want em.

Sounds lovely! But since by the time I’d get there it would be cold, I’m gonna have to settle for some Orfila (local SD) Pinot and left over salmon. Cheers!

What’s this “left over salmon” thing? I have Feline Overlords.

I mean come on, it’s a Fake Quote. How long does it take to look up a Fake Quote? Most of the Fake Quotes are even on Gun Nut debunking sites.

In order to look up a Real Quote, you’d have to read an actual book.

Something serious is up there. You don’t get that hyperactive about posting nonsense to the internet without a serious problem.

btw, you’re doing GREAT work.

The only way to have an Arby’s sammitch is with a mix of Arby’s sause and Horsey sauce.

Now, that’s what I want, RIGHT NOW.

Hating you./

I don’t go for their sauces other than cheese AT ALL. I’m not a fan of putting sauces on foods. I’ve always been weird that way.

I would, but I really need to try to get some sleep. I’ve gotten 8 hours total the past 2 nights, and it slowed me down a little today.

Have a great night all!

Given the irrational hate aimed at GWB and the bizarre conspiracies he was the subject of, Bush Derangement Syndrome very clearly did exist.

IMAO, there was some rational hate aimed at GWB. And conspiracies… Well, I have one word to say, and if you deny it, cool: TORTURE.

BDS did exist, I will admit… but it’s NOTHING like ODS.
