Creationist Gov. Jindal: GOP Presidential Hopefuls Need Their “Heads Examined”

Maybe they just need an exorcism
Politics • Views: 26,067

Creationist GOP governor Bobby Jindal, who is obviously considering a run for the presidency in 2016, says any Republican considering a run for the presidency in 2016 “needs to get their head examined.”

He said this in an appearance on the dumbest, craziest right wing show on Fox News, Fox and Friends. His point is that the GOP first needs to get their deceptive “messages” plotted out before they can expect to win an election.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) said Monday that Republicans already thinking about the 2016 presidential race need “to get their head examined” because the party is just beginning to recalibrate its messaging in the aftermath of President Obama’s reelection.

“Anybody on the Republican side even thinking or talking about running for president in 2016, I’ve said, needs to get their head examined,” Jindal told “Fox and Friends.” “And the reason I say that is, we’ve lost two presidential elections in a row, we need to be winning the debate of ideas, then we’ll win elections.”

Jindal has arguably been more successful than any other Republican politician at legitimizing the teaching of creationism and other forms of right wing pseudo-science in Louisiana, through his voucher program that funnels state money to private religious schools. That must be what he means by “winning the debate of ideas.”

Maybe they can begin winning elections by expanding their Benevolence zones, while contracting the large Combativeness and Acquisitiveness zones…

Dear Gov. Jindal,

STFU you Kenneth the Page wannabe. Anyone who is alive in the 21st Century and who believes in exorcisms and Creationism has no room to tell anyone else that they need their heads examined.

Trump: Jindal is ‘stupid’ for calling Republicans ‘stupid’

“I think he was stupid for using that term because that term is so obnoxious and so good for the other side that he should not have used that term,” Trump told Fox News on Monday. “Because that term is going to be living now with the Republican Party for a long time and they’re going to have his face on television saying it for the next four years.”

“I thought that term used by the governor was a disgrace, and he shouldn’t have used it,” he added. “I thought it was very demeaning to the Republican Party… You don’t use the word stupid because the word stupid is now going to be a part of the vocabulary of the Democrats.”

“I thought it was a horrible thing for him to say. Frankly, I thought it was stupid thing for him to say.”

Same thing with Sarah Palin; “we’ll peel off all the Hillary supports and win this thing in a landslide.” (and just have to say FU McCain for foisting caribou barbie on the rest of America). They still think Obama won just because he was black…not because the Republicans trashed the place in the previous 8 years and people decided to try something different.

Erik Rush: ‘Street Hustler’ Obama Is Building a ‘Communist State’

Conservative commentator Erik Rush says that President Obama’s communist plot is so evil and destructive that “most of the ‘New World Order’ scenarios do not hold water in light of this,” but only he knows the truth!

Rush claims that Obama (if that’s even his real name) is a “spoiled, narcissistic man-child with the heart of a street hustler” who is “taking America from decades of soft socialism to an all-out, 21st-Century communist state” that will surpass even the Soviet Union. “There will be a bloodbath as this occurs,” Rush concludes, “I would not hazard a guess as to whether this process can be arrested without what will amount to civil war.”

Speaking of insane crap:

Maryland county school board to own all students’ work with copyright policy

A county school board in Maryland has proposed a copyright policy that would allow it to take ownership of all work produced by students and faculty — even work created off campus during personal time.

A Prince George’s County Board of Education proposal obtained by WTOP says that “any works” created by students or employees “are properties of the Board of Education even if created on the employee’s or student’s time and with the use of their materials.”

University of Missouri law professor David Rein told The Washington Post that some universities have “sharing agreements” with students and faculty, but he had never heard of a local school board of trying to profit from a student’s work.

“The way this policy is written, it essentially says if a student writes a paper, goes home and polishes it up and expands it, the school district can knock on the door and say, ‘We want a piece of that,’” Rein observed. “I can’t imagine that.”

IV.

POLICY STATEMENT ON CREATION OF WORKS: Works created by employees and/or students specifically for use by the Prince George’s County Public Schools or a specific school or department within PGCPS, are properties of the Board of Education even if created on the employee’s or student’s time and with use of their materials.

Further, works created during school/work hours, with the use of school system materials, and within the scope of an employee’s position or student’s classroom work assignment(s) are the properties of the Board of Education. Examples of works which the Board hereby takes ownership are:

1. PGCPS Website
2. Individual School Website
3. Curriculum documents
4. Instructional materials for use in PGCPS or a specific school
5. Software and platforms developed for use by PGCPS, a specific school and/or the Board

I think Barton is just making it up as he goes along. Has a list of Historical Quote and Document Mad-libs that he pulls random names and issues for as a challenge and then writes up the references in order to defend that point.

Lucas did the original film while at USC. He made it while officially a student instructor, using materials and access provided by and to the school for that class.

By the above policy, USC would own the original and the subsequent release.

Celebrating Black History Month with David Barton

Though the program is billed as an attempt to recognize “the forgotten heroes and untold stories from our rich African American political history,” it is, in reality, a 90-minute effort to portray the Democratic Party as responsible for every problem that has ever plagued the African American community in America and imply that the Republican Party is the antidote. Barton’s website proudly claims that he “is currently breaking ground in the African-American community with his presentations” based on this DVD.

Throughout the program, Barton presents a staggeringly slanted, openly partisan, and tellingly incomplete view of American history. Barton focuses on the Democratic Party’s historical support for slavery and Jim Crow, but completely ignores the transformation of American politics brought about by the civil rights movement. Barton, of course, never mentions that the rise of the modern Republican Party was built on a “southern strategy” of embracing and exploiting the resentments of racist southern Democrats who joined the Republican Party after Democratic President Lyndon Baines Johnson pushed and signed landmark civil rights and voting rights legislation.

How I Was Able To Buy 4 AR-15s In 20 Minutes (without a background check)

Last week, four people in Colorado offered to sell me Smith & Wesson M&P15 assault rifles, the same weapon used by James Holmes in the Aurora theater massacre last year. In each case, the seller neither required nor requested a background check to make sure I wasn’t a criminal or mentally ill.

If that sounds bizarre, it should. 92 percent of Americans support a law requiring anyone who purchases a gun anywhere to first pass a background check. And yet, in Colorado and most states, private gun sales are exempted from such a requirement.

This was on full display last week when we visited ArmsList.com, a Craigslist-style site that deals solely in firearms. We searched “Smith & Wesson M&P15″ in the Colorado listings and instantly found dozens of sellers. A few emails later, we had four people willing to sell us the gun that same day, no questions asked. When we inquired whether we’d need to do a background check or any paperwork to obtain the assault rifle, we met the same response every time: no.

When I asked one man whether a background check was required, he said he was simply “assuming” I am not a felon and am “a good and decent person that will not use this carbine to commit a crime and of course a sane and normal human being.” “If that is indeed the case,” he continued, “no background check is required by law in the state of Colorado.” A few wanted to do a “bill of sale,” a personal document showing that they had sold the gun to me “in the event you do something stupid with the rifle,” as one seller wrote. However, they were careful to note that this is only for their own records, not the government’s.

Important news for train riders:

Pittsburgh-to-Harrisburg Amtrak route may end

All because Governor Fuckett can’t find $6 Million after privatizing the PA Lottery. What makes this line so important is that if it’s closed, it cuts off the only direct route that connects Pittsburgh to New York City and Philadelphia.

More importantly- Chicago riders will have to go through Washington D.C. to get to NYC.

Liberal indoctrination trains!!!

Unemployed tweeters and tweeters who don’t own their own businesses will commence two month long complaint about complicated and oppressive federal U.S. income tax code. Because that’s what Fox, Drudge and Rush will tell them to complain about.

They’re not going to hear it. The lawsuit was distributed for confernce. IIRC, that means that it’s going into the pile of other lawsuits the nine Justices will sit around and read to see if there’s anything worth exploring.

My guess is they’ll all roll their eyes and move on.

Current US Supreme Court docket search for “Taitz” shows the following.

A petition denied in 2009.
A petition denied in 2010.
A petition denied in 2011.
An application denied by Justice Thomas in 2012.
A docketed item for February 15, which will probably be denied February 16.

She keeps wasting the court’s time (along with all the lower courts as well). Sanctions wouldn’t be sufficient. Disbarment is warranted.

I’m kind of surprised she hasn’t gotten the big judicial smackdown yet. She’s the queen of the frivolous lawsuit.

Seriously. She’s Jack Thompson in drag.

She needs to be permanently disbarred. This is ridiculous.

At the bottom of every Tea Party scheme is graft.

Well, and racism. But mostly graft.

The current one is odd. It got denied originally, but then Roberts added it to the consideration anyway.

The law works in mysterious ways. She’s got a CA license, so getting disbarred would have to come from out there. They’ve had investigations into her conduct pending since 2009, so I’m not sure why they’ve let this go on.

Her conduct is absolutely repellant.

And, republicans have the gall to think we don’t know why they tolerate Michael Steele, Herman Cain, Ken Blackburn, and other black republicans. They do it to make it seem as if the party doesn’t sanction racists. It does, and we know it does, and so do Steele and the other black republicans. I know the top GOPers have been very disappointed that they raised the profiles of these black republicans and that it hasn’t helped them in getting us to join their party. Not gonna happen. We’ve dealt with people like Cain, Steele, and Blackburn all of our lives, and we know that they’d beat up their own moms to get ahead in this world.
