I love the totally wacky flying animal thing with what looks like one ear.

Good video. I like it as well.

Here’s one from a guy who’s done a good deal of music for anime films, a frequent collaborator with the late, great Satoshi Kon.

This is what the base PSD looks like.

The base color is a shape which makes it really easy to change the color.

Hang on, let me try the non-glare version…

28 Charles Johnson  Sun, Mar 17, 2013 5:48:09pm

Yep, the one without the glare layer works best.

Image: ZZ476CDE96.jpg

There must be a way to get iOS not to add its own glare, because not all icons have it. May not be possible with Safari bookmark icons though.

29 Charles Johnson  Sun, Mar 17, 2013 5:49:29pm

I love Dropbox, by the way. That’s how I easily got the screenshot from my iPhone to my desktop Mac.

30 Charles Johnson  Sun, Mar 17, 2013 5:50:20pm

I could also do it with Evernote, or email the screen shot to myself, but Dropbox is the slickest way.

Clarence Thomas’s wife attended the Pamela Geller-Robert Spencer hatefest at CPAC: Pam Geller: CPAC Board Member Is “Worse” Than Anwar Al-Awlaki

UPDATE: Virginia Thomas, the conservative activist and wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, was in attendance and sitting in the first few rows of the Breitbart “Uninvited” panel, according to a source who spotted her and sent along this photo. Thomas has been an ally of Gaffney’s in the past, interviewing him for her Daily Caller series and working with his Center for Security Policy. She was slated to speak at a rally organized by Pam Geller in 2010, but later said she wouldn’t attend.

I’m so cheap I cut the cable, so I usually have to wait months for the most recent season of shows like The Walking Dead to show up on Netflix. But I couldn’t wait for the last season of Breaking Bad, and bought it on Amazon as soon as it was available to stream. He’s actually a really good actor. Usually plays tough no-nonsense characters. Watch him in “Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer”. It was his first big performance and probably still his best. Was very controversial at the time (late 80s), and still disturbing today for its depiction of a cold blooded killer. But he’s chilling in the lead role.

Where does this prediction of destroying the left and MSM come from? It’s a fantasy grounded in nothing of the real world.

Whether it’s the right losing elections, the demographics stacked against them, the ubiquitousness of the MSM, etc….none of it adds up to the left or mainstream media being destroyed anytime soon.

As tea partiers and other righties decline in power, they’re adopting delusions of grandeur. Actually kinda pathetic, both sad and funny at the same time.

I watched “Henry” again just this afternoon. It caused me to go Wikipedia surfing, first for Henry Lee Lucas, then Otis Toole, and it kinda just snowballed from there. Next thing I knew, I had about 37 browser tabs open full of links to articles from Wikipedia and TVTropes. I can’t even tell you the path I took, but somehow reading about Lucas eventually led me to the article about emphatic consonants.

Ryan’s budget is balanced on the backs of the poor and working class, just as the previous two were. Only difference is, because he wants to do it in 10 years instead of 30, he has to dig the knife deeper into their backs.

In previous years, the media was falling all over itself to talk about how “bold” his budgets were because of how “serious” they were about tackling the debt. Now? They seem to have come to some late realization that these budgets aren’t the least bit popular with…well…anybody outside the GOP ranks and the Beltway, so now it’s talk instead about how he’s got the “right idea” by pushing for a balanced budget.

Stevie, rat feces like you prove nothing.

The best you can do is cut-and-paste liberal diatribes from your socialist cadres.

Look at you - a pathetic underachiever that cannot even put together a sentence properly. And you are trying to impress who? Were you abused as a child? Did someone give you a failing grade that turned you angry? Did that liberal arts education turn out to be absolutely worthless in preparing you for available employment? Living at home a real drag as your parent’s make you pick up after yourself?

What is it Stevie?

You seem to have acquired a front seat in the stupid-and-lost liberal show. Most human deficiencies can be corrected. But nothing can be done for stupid. You cannot fix it. Sorry boy.

The Steubenville guilty verdict spawned nearly as much rape apology as the original news of the case did, highlighting the point — made by feminists like Zerlina Maxwell and Jaclyn Friedman — that America has a long way to go before it gets past blaming victims and sympathizing with rapists.

Below are the top 5 rape apologist reactions to the verdict.

Gloria loved the challenges of her Corporate Legal job, struggling to survive in a “good old boys” environment. That seems pretty inconsequential as she now turns to fighting for survival in a much realer sense. Still, she has been successful in transferring some skills such as always being aware of what is happening around you, identify the most critical threats, and eliminating said threats decisively in the new world order.

“The Bible is the foundation of this nation, of our laws, of our society,” Burnett said. “There wouldn’t have been the Declaration of Independence. President Obama swore his allegiance to all of us not on one Bible, on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Bible and Abraham Lincoln’s bible last month. It’s on our money: ‘In God We Trust.’”

re: #92 Gus

I blocked him and added him to the global filter when he started with the personal insults. I have much better things to do with my time than be insulted on Twitter by assholes.

And here’s the site of the maker of the figures I was linking to earlier.

This next is his “Office Workers turned Zombie Hunters” page.

He’s not sexist, to be sure. Here’s his female figure and her write-up:

Needs to work on his technique.

Hat tip to Claudia Ruiz on Twitter.

Those expressions when they see the sky are beautiful.

This apparently needs to be added to the Steubenville family dinnertime discussions.

According to producer Mark Burnett:

I was going to dismiss this story until I read that. Now I think it probably was intended to look like Obama.

Yeah, saw that last night. He’s still holding on to leftie stalker ville posting links to old archived pages with quotes from the old commentators and old leftie stalker blogs. Guys like Bill think you should just shut up and go home now even though you’ve had a change of heart. I guess Bill thinks of himself as a moral authority of sorts. A bit of a God complex. So he’s trying to shut you down so to speak with the old LGF archive. In turn, the stalkers want to use the same information to shut you down even though they still hold onto to that rhetoric. None of this is going to work and no one is going to shut down LGF.

Definitely seems like some trolling going on; he is Donald Trump’s producer.

Some of the chimps are over 50 years old.

How can you watch those chimps and not feel the angst of seeing relatives suffering abuse?

So did Cardinal Oliver Willis of the Holy Church of Internet Progressives ever forgive you?

It needs to be etched into the walls of the men’s showers and printed on the football jerseys at that school.

Playing hockey in northern Israel where Arabs and Jewish kids cooperate to put the puck in the net.

That is cool.

I guess at least they’ve made the Glenn Beck constituency happy (//):

And they’ve seem to also have succeeded in riling up the end-of-timers:

The message is clear: bicycle + cherry blossoms = peace and happiness.

(I substitute apricot blossoms here.)
