Breitbart.com Hacks Continue Attacking President Obama’s Daughters

Beyond creepy
Wingnuts • Views: 30,767

I think the constant, unrelenting rage and hatred is starting to rot the brains of the Breitbrats, because this has to be the most demented attack on the President’s daughters they’ve launched yet: COMMENTARY: THE CYNICAL EXPLOITATION OF THE OBAMA CHILDREN.

There is something seriously wrong with these people.

This is not a case of hypocrisy or tone deafness; this is far more cynical, far more subversive. This goes to the exploitation of the First daughters by none other than their own mother.

This mid-recession, lavish vacation is not a vacation at all. It’s a front, a dog-whistle that can be heard just below the joyous sounds of splashing waves and the welcoming voice of a room service operator.

This is propaganda in its lowest form. It’s propaganda for the First Lady’s Let’s Move campaign to fight childhood obesity.

The First Kids are setting an unwitting example, and although they don’t know it, they are figuratively shouting from the Bahamas back to American kids: Get off your fat asses.

Don’t even look at the comments, unless you’re ready for another deluge of ugly racism and hatred. The hacks at breitbart.com know very well what will happen when they post sick articles like this one — it’s why they do it.

Two of the crazier comments:

We didn’t blow it…They stole the election by corruption.Time to REVOLT and move the DICTATOR out before his army is finished and ready to attack.

and

WE STILL CAN HELP MOVE THEM OUT, ITS NEVER TO LATE, I THINK SHERIFF JOE OR ANY SHERIFF CAN ARREST OBAMA, I READ ABOUT THAT….ANYWAY, ONLY THE RICH CAN HAVE VACATIONS LIKE THIS ITS CALLED..OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY MINE & YOURS.

We’re also officially not in a recession any more, Brietbartarians. It’s just that all the profits are going to the corporations and the executives, while workers wages remain stagnant.

So yeah, the kids whose dad is trying to spread the wealth around, why begrudge them a vacation? Why not obsessively track the vacations of all the children of GOP elected officials during this time? I mean, that’d at least be fair, right?

I wonder why they’re not doing that?

Even if one accepts the absurdity of his thesis, it’s extra insane to suggest that having your kids do a PR stunt encouraging young people to get more exercise is “propaganda in its lowest form.”

Yahoo throws a bone to the evangelicals:

‘The Bible’ Crucifixion Scenes Brought 48 Snakes and a Life-Changing Experience for Diogo Morgado

Viewers watching the Easter Sunday conclusion of the History Channel’s “The Bible” miniseries will find the crucifixion scenes “painful” to watch, producer Mark Burnett says.

I understand that the wingnuts have circled the wagons around a cluster of idiotic ideas and bad behaviors, calling the mess “being a good conservative,” but it’s really bizarre even in that context to see that being overweight and in poor health is now one of their cherished traditions.

The thing that freaks me out is that the “racially aware” outrage machine is clearly able to get the same stories in front of all of their constituants at the same time…I have seen wingnuts all over the internet pushing these same stories in the last 2 hours.

AMERICAN1975 Being on the opposite side of the country from Mexico probably helps some.

New Mexico and Texas have unemployment rates well below the national average. That GOP outreach is really out in full force this weekend.

The USSS budget is set by Congress in appropriations. That includes trips and protecting the First Family.

These people aren’t working with a full deck. The elevator doesn’t go up to the top floor. They’re a few quarts low. They’re dumber than a bag of hammers. The stupid is strong with them.

But more to the point, they’ve let their inner racists run amok. Not only in the GOP id, but all across the right wing. They can’t help themselves.

The kids took vacations. Big deal.

Oh, but because the WH cancelled tours that changes everything?

The GOP had a choice. They could accept the sequester. Or not. They accepted the sequester because it fulfilled a longstanding mission - cut the size/scope/cost of government. Sure, they’ll complain that pet projects got cut along with everything else, but they’re not going to reform the sequester. Their larger and long-term goal is accomplished. So, they’ll bitch about the lost WH tours and blame Obama for all that and more, and complain about costs of trips already scheduled and figured into the WH and USSS budgets (ignoring that they are generally figured out in advance).

And the right wing with froth itself into another frenzy. It’s what they do.

40 Gus  Sun, Mar 31, 2013 1:19:24pm

This is so freaking stupid. These people freaking out over some goofy Google Doodle that no one really pays much attention to. I rarely if ever see the Google front page. I use the search form in the upper right hand corner of my browser or just enter the search term in the URL field.

Since when is a private organization even required to carry whatever religious content? Google is a private company. The free market and constitutional protections allows it to run relatively free from public influence. These people are out of their minds.

41 dragonath  Sun, Mar 31, 2013 1:20:32pm

If Google isn’t celebrating Acathius of Melitene’s feast day, does that mean they’re insulting 300 Million Orthodox Christians?

BTW, the Orthodox follow the Julian calendar for Easter… which would fall on May 5th this year. But they’re a bunch of schismatics, so what do they know? //

Santa was supposed to be the 4th wise man, but he failed to heed God’s command and did not bring a present to Baby Jesus. For his sin, God cursed him to live forever, his one chance at redemption to be to bring a gift to Christ on the second coming. The “elves” are the children who stay up late to catch Santa, witness the true horror, and become bound to his will, cursed to serve him until the Messiah returns.

Everyday, more and more, I’m grateful to see that President Obama is in the White House. The racists are only hurting themselves. The next President will probably be a White woman and who knows when we’ll get our first Latino Pres/Vice Pres. I don’t see the US ever moving backwards into being a White male dominated country given the changing demographics, which is fine with me. I don’t know what Breitbart and similar media outlets think they’re accomplishing by peddling prejudice.
