I’d guess she’ll go with option two. She won’t want to admit that some of her followers are racists, but she isn’t so far gone as she’d fail to understand just how bad that comment comes across.

How could we ever cure this country of racist sickness? Is the Civil War really won if so many people still think this way?

How are we going to survive as a people if we’re still calling each other names and wishing for each other’s deaths? If we take mass murder as an opportunity to blame The Other in spite of the facts (or lack thereof?)

I’m kind of disgusted the way everyone has jumped to the conclusion that this was a terrorist attack, that is violence with a political objective. It could have been violence for its own sake like all the school shootings have been. In such a case, all the emo reporting and constant coverage would be giving the wanker exactly the gratification he (?) sought.

I also think it is pathetic that the news is going to talk about this non-stop as if nothing else was going on in the world and as if this was the worst thing that ever happened. They should talk about other news until there is actually something new to report. Going on and on about how a Saudi student was being “co-operative” just fuels anti Muslim bigotry.
