Officials: Arrest Made in Ricin Letter Investigation
CNN is reporting, and it’s backed up by official sources on the record so you can believe it this time, that an arrest has been made in Tupelo, Mississippi in the ricin letter case.
(CNN) — An arrest has been made in connection with letters sent to President Barack Obama and Sen. Roger Wicker that authorities are testing to determine if they contain ricin, two federal law enforcement officials said Wednesday.
The person was arrested in the Tupelo, Mississippi, area, one of the officials said.
NBC News reports that the ricin letters were completely unrelated to the Boston bombings. The timing appears to be pure coincidence.
The suspect’s full name is Paul Kevin Curtis:
