Put together, it sounds a lot like Tamerlan was cutting ties, symbolically and literally, with his American life before his trip to Russia.

Think I figured out what happened in New Vegas.

The effects and damage were were a mix of the explosive round and the incendiary rounds. The game must have glitched during the VATS attack, causing the spectacle.

I don’t think that will happen again. That was sheer luck that occurred in the first place.

Tsarnaev providing “substantive” information, even as investigators prepare to levy charges against him as soon as today…neck wound may have been self-inflicted and an attempt at suicide sometime prior to his capture.

Well, we’ll see. A boat load of his future (if you’ll pardon the expression) will rest on the quality of his legal representation. If he has the usual quality of public defenders, he’s toast. OTOH, he might end up with this generation’s John Adams defending the Red Coats of 1770. Being Boston, it would be ironically appropriate… ;)

According to The Blaze, Beck’s great, earth-shattering revelation is that House Republicans are accusing Napalitano of lying under oath about having no knowledge of the Saudi student being ordered deported. Basically it’s sounding like Fast & Furious 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Apparently Beck’s either late to this story or jumping on the bandwagon, because Breibart’s reporting the same story as an “exclusive,” but admits in its own article that Hannity had a guest making such claims as of last week.

ICE told Breitbart shortly after the deportation story broke that they never had deportation orders for the Saudi student, but instead for somebody completely unrelated to him or to the Boston bombing. Would not surprise me that Republicans, thinking they smell a “scandal,” got a hold of those deportation orders and think they have the “smoking gun” showing that Napolitano lied to them.

After all, we all know how”those people over there” behave themselves now don’t we? Boston and Newtown are here, much easier to find the truth about and a lot of what’s coming out about both don’t fit their narrative. Yeah—It’s way past its shelf life. Benghazi was supposed to be the divine intervention that would save them from Obama’s re-election. There was no ‘there’ there, and Romney’s desperate derping turned it to a negative.

A complete failure to realize that there is no auto-identification between terrorist and helpful citizen when all the police (or military) sees is someone outside their tactical organization (and operation plan) carrying a weapon.

Trying to prevent friendly-fire incidents is a major reason the police and military tactical units train repeatedly - along with very strict protocols about where units are supposed to be and establishing border lines between units.

In the Freeper/Threeper fantasy, disciplined police and military are a threat to THEIR options to ‘water the tree of liberty’. Only Oathkeeper renegades could be trusted.

In fact, when the nuts pull a SHTF, those with a legitimate monopoly of violence will:

1. Fuck you up.
2. Kill you.
3. Read your manifesto.

In that order.

Hmm. I wonder how many silly petitions in the past dozen years or so for the town to change its name.

(from wiki page)

History
The name of the town was an unintentional misspelling by the US Postal Service in 1882 of the city’s intended name, taken from Arad Thompson, the son of the town founder and first postmaster Stephen Tuttle Thompson. Two other proper names for the town were sent to the US Postal Service for consideration: “Ink” and “Bird”. Arab was incorporated in 1892. Standup comedian Henry Cho, whose wife is from Arab, shares the alternate explanation that the town’s name was changed following a misspelling on the water tower.
