I invite the GOP to go ahead, bring up articles of impeachment and bring on the circus. Let’s go ahead and finally put an end to this foolishness that the GOP is simply against Obama’s policies and not him, that at the end of the day what they want is to do what’s best for America.

I’m not sure whether to think it good of Romney for spiking such a disgusting ad…or just shake my head that he thought he could win on the campaign he was running:
Romney scrapped Benghazi ad in final weeks of campaign
Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign spiked an ad during the final weeks of the 2012 campaign that would have criticized President Obama’s handling of the terrorist attack in Benghazi, a source with knowledge of the ad confirmed to The Hill.
The television spot was created by the Republican National Committee and played off the famous “3 a.m.” attack ad that Hillary Clinton aired against Obama during the 2008 campaign.
“It’s 3 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep, but there’s a phone in the White House and it’s ringing. Something’s happening in the world,” a voiceover in the ad says as images of a building burning are shown and gunfire is heard in the background. The ad then displays text that reads: “Security requests denied. Four Americans dead. And an administration whose story is still changing.”
“The call came. Americans deserve answers,” the final text of the ad reads.
According to the source with knowledge of the ad’s creation, the Romney campaign stopped it from airing for fear that it would shift the focus away from the economy.

The quacks, kooks, racists, grifters, and status seekers who make up the real GOP base are utterly oblivious to any facts you might introduce.
This is not because they typically fail to recognize the very concept of “true” vs. “false,” though one could be forgiven for thinking so.
It is, rather, because the only facts that matter to them are beyond dispute:
1. The President is a black guy.
2. The EPA, OSHA, public education, and the minimum wage have not yet been abolished.

Georgia GOP leaders suggest Obama is using mind-control technique
The debate is firing up over a controversial seminar held at the State Capitol.
At that forum, Republican leaders warned that President Barack Obama is using mind control to manipulate all of us.Republican leaders sat in on a four-hour seminar at the State Capitol recently, and it was all caught on tape.
The topic was Agenda 21, a highly controversial plan developed during the 80s that would allow the government to force people to move from the suburbs to the cities and use mind control to manipulate everything we do.
“They had a 4-hour meeting how the United Nations is using a mind control technique developed during the Cold War to secretly steal away Americans’ freedoms,” said Seth Clark of the political watchdog group Better Georgia.
Clark videotaped part of the briefing. He captured slides from the presentation comparing President Obama’s record to that of Mao Zedong, a Chinese communist revolutionary, and Joseph Stalin, the one-time Communist leader of the Soviet Union.

Now on the other hand,
When he is passed over for promotion in favor of a foreign-born friend, Frank Taylor (Humphrey Bogart), a midwestern factory worker, joins the anti-immigrant Black Legion, a secret white supremacist organization[2] portrayed as a northern chapter of the Ku Klux Klan. Dressed in black robes, Taylor and the Legion mount a torchlight raid and burn down the friend’s chicken farm, driving him out of town, so that Taylor can take the job he believed was his. Soon, however, Taylor’s recruiting activities with the Legion get in the way of his work, and he is demoted in favor of Mike Grogan (Clifford Soubier), Taylor’s neighbor. Once again, the Legion takes action, attacking Grogan.
Under the continued influence of the Legion, Taylor becomes a brutal racist,[2] and alienates his wife (Erin O’Brien-Moore). He starts drinking heavily and takes up with a loose woman (Helen Flint). Taylor’s friend, Ed Jackson (Dick Foran), tries to counsel him, and a drunken Taylor winds up confessing about his Legion activities. When Taylor reports this to Cliff, a co-worker and fellow member of the Legion, Cliff initiates a false rumor that Jackson is a woman-beater. On the pretext of punishing him for that offense, the Legion then kidnaps Jackson, planning to flog him. Jackson punches one of the men restraining him and tries to escape. As he is running away he is shot by Taylor, who then breaks down with guilt and remorse, exclaiming “I didn’t mean to shoot!”.[3]
Taylor is arrested for the murder, and the Legion threatens his wife and son to stop him from implicating the Legion in the crime, but, ultimately, Frank breaks down and tells the truth, resulting in the entire Black Legion being convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.[4]

It’s kinda fun for Maddow to do this. But does anyone else from the “liberal” media recognize this madness of the GOP’ers which is effectively ruining the lives of a whole generation of people alive today? Why are such kind of people even in government if they don’t believe in it? Recession still continues for many millions. Most of these unemployed are not going to recover in life, financially. Because one party has gone off the cliff and has been stark raving mad for the better part of the last 30 yrs. I understand the need for an opposing party but anyone who is sensible can recognize that the GOP is not it. How is Obama going to make a change if all his legislation needs a majority of the house to sign on to it? The same house which has these insane GOP’ers in its numbers?

The Oakland Police Department installed its third chief in three days on Friday, as members of the City Council complained they were being kept out of the loop on the tumult in the department.
KNTV-TV reported that Deputy Chief Sean Whent, head of the department’s Risk Management bureau, was sworn in to replace interim chief Anthony Toribio. Toribio only lasted 48 hours helming the department following chief Howard Jordan’s surprise announcement on May 8 that he was stepping down, citing health concerns.

That’s a very good point, but nowadays, it’s complicated by the global economy. A rich corporate executive may live in a gated community in the United States, exploit workers in other countries, and not give a damn about workers in America.
