Glenn Beck: ‘Why Is It a Concentrated Effort Now to Label Me a Conspiracy Theorist?’

Raving freakazoid persecution fantasy at its finest! Without a hint of irony, a glimmer of self-awareness, or a smidgeon of clue, Glenn Beck complains that the mean old media are unfairly trying to paint him as a conspiracy theorist.

What can you? I don’t even.

I don’t know, Glenn. Maybe it’s the fact that you peddle conspiracy theories on your show? That you’re a deluded, hysterical whiner?

Why would anyone think Glenn is a conspiracy theorist? I mean, he’s no more a conspiracy theorist than is Alex Jones or Jeff Rense.

UK sees 200 Islamophobic incidents in wake of Woolwich murder

I wonder how many can be traced to the EDL?

I swear, if this isn’t performance art I don’t know what is.

I love how Beck and those of his ilk talk about “the media” being out to get them…ignoring that conservatives run the number one cable news network (pretty much every hour of every day for many years running)..and the top 3? 4? 5? 6? shows on radio…and the best selling newspaper in the country…and D’Souza’s “2016: Obama’s America” movie got into over 1000 theaters and grossed over $33 million…and books written by and for wingnuts regularly dominate the New York Times bestseller list. How large will their media footprint have to be before they stop feeling persecuted?

I just spat out a mouthful of lunchtime beverage on my laptop.

Are we part of the vast left-wing media conspiracy to label Glenn Beck as a conspiracy theorist?

I’m just asking questions. It would be irresponsible not to speculate.

10 Gus  Tue, May 28, 2013 3:19:14pm

Cass Sunstein! Sorry Glenn. But you’ve been a conspiracy nut for several years now. You’re either for real or this is just part of your snow job for your stupid audience.

Because you are a conspiracy theorist.

Glenn Beck - RationalWiki

Dr.[2][3] Glenn Beck, former rodeo clown and Fox News clown, is an American right-wing “commentator” and a high school graduate who got lucky. He presented the eponymous Glenn Beck Show on the Fox News cartoon channel until it was dropped in 2011 due to low ratings. He currently has his own radio show and originally appeared on CNN’s Headline News until viewers couldn’t take it anymore (rumors that they were also mad as hell are slightly exaggerated). Beck now owns a subscription-based internet network, TheBlaze (formerly GBTV),[4] to which his Fox show was transferred in September 2011. It somehow made it on Dish Network as well…

Glenn Beck Does the Rockefeller Boogie

A memorable string, and a watershed moment in my perceptions of the right wing. Obama drawing Mussolini’s chariot was my favorite flight of the Beck imagination. I was thinking, wow, this guy is bug molester crazy and he is one of their top media draws. I was already pretty sour on the right wing, but that made it crystal clear that I had severely under-estimated the depth and scope of the problem.

Glen loves him some John Birch Society and some Cleon Skousen.

And coincidentally, he likes a bunch of books by people who believe in Jews-control-everything conspiracies. Sorry, I mean the “cultural Bolshevist” Jews, not the True ScotsmanJews.

Coincidentally…yeah.

I’m still sometimes think that it’s an act that Beck put on. He may be conservative, but he goes with the batshit crazy stuff because he knows his audience is stupid enough to give him money.

Wait, so the supremely ignorant Glen Beck has a doctorate, but only from the his own fake university grift?

The most infuriating thing is that his fans wouldn’t even find that a problem!

During the last election, PJ Media set up a fake “university” video section that was teaching tea-party fake economics. I didn’t have the stomach to follow the link even once. I don’t want unwatchable morons like Bill Wittle lecturing at me, I would die of brain hemorrhage. If my blood pressure didn’t do me in, then pounding my head on the table would do it.

Yep, I was homeless as a HS senior. I lived with various friends until I could save for a place of my own. College wasn’t happening, no scholarship, no parental help. I had to work full time to take care of myself. No one encouraged me to continue my education either. But, back then you could get jobs that paid well enough to care for a family, had benefits, even a pension if you were lucky. Union jobs. I’m pretty smart and resourceful, without a college education.

Glenn Beck could have attended college for a decade and he’s still be a blithering buffoon. His level of education has nothing to do with it.

Beck on the other hand is a grifter. One proof is that when he went to Fox New he switched from being in favor of socialized medicine to finding all talk of that proof of Communism hatred for civilization, Christianity and part of the Islamic nazi fascist conspiracy…

On the other hand, he’s firmly in the genre of prophetic paranoids. He’s no doubt convinced that he can feel the will of God and the encroachment of satanic forces. But grifter who lacks the mental strength to avoid fooling himself isn’t the same thing as a schizophrenic.
