Far Right Nutjob Allen West Turns Out to Be Antisemitic, PJ Media Shocked

A far right kook is also antisemitic? Inconceivable!
Wingnuts • Views: 23,190

A little shakeup at the place I helped start, PJ Media, where former Congressman Allen West has been fired, or resigned, or something.

Imagine their shock to discover that this bigoted, crazed far right nutjob is also antisemitic.

Former Congressman Allen West is leaving his job at Pajamas Media after an altercation with a female staffer in which he allegedly called her a “Jewish American princess,” BuzzFeed learned on Thursday.

[…]

Two sources familiar with what happened told BuzzFeed that West had gotten into an argument with a female employee and called her a “Jewish American princess” while telling her to “shut up.”

Reached by phone, West told BuzzFeed he was leaving his job voluntarily, though one source familiar with the situation told BuzzFeed he had been fired. He did not deny that an exchange with the employee had occurred, but said it hadn’t led to his leaving the company.

“No I didn’t get fired,” West said. “I’m leaving to pursue political aspirations. That’s it. There’ll be a statement that comes out and it’s effective in October.”

re: #93 Decatur Deb

Yup. It took us 24 years to pay off from first house payment to last. There were some wild times reselling and good times refinancing. The day we clocked the last mortgage payment made it all worth it. And it made retirement doable.

I (we) own and I consider it a dream come true. My parents never owned their own home and now I do and my boys do also (in a few years.) I look at that as success. Congrats!

This house is going to be amazing (did I mention that in addition to being mostly underground, it’s round?)
Sadly, it appears I must spend one more winter in this falling-apart, pre-Civil War house. But we’re paying out-of-pocket as we go with the new house, instead of getting a loan. So, I am learning patience…

Article shared from the Radio Dead Air guy.

Unfortunately, it has a punch line.

Carreno of the DEA says that krokodil isn’t a controlled substance yet because the agency has to have more evidence that it’s a public health problem. “You don’t want a federal agency going around making things illegal willy nilly…We’d have to see more than two cases before we control it,” she notes. “But people are mixing codeine and gasoline, and shooting it into their veins. What do they expect?”

Uh, what? It’s already a public health emergency in Russia and parts of Europe. Let’s stop the shit, before it hits the fan.

By now you’re ‘banking’ most of the payment as premium, and your interest is probably a lot less than plastic, car, or other loans.

Bolded for emphasis.

The US government can’t intervene until it’s a problem here. It sucks, but it’s true. They really can’t start banning the ingredients pre-emptively. Could you imagine the shitstorm if matches and paint thinner — things people use every day— were harder to come by?

Bradlee Dean’s ministry is no more

According to a source close to the situation, Dean’s “You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International” staffers have all walked out on him. Yes, that includes his notorious street teams and Dean’s “Sons of Liberty” radio cohost Jake McMillan, who our source says put in his two weeks notice and moved out of Minnesota. (McMillian, for some reason, sometimes went by the name Jake MacAulay.)

Our source said the beginning of the end came when two former Dean staffers — a husband-and-wife team including his former director of donor relations — had a falling out with Bradlee. The couple stayed friends with some “You Can Run” employees and began trying to persuade their friends to leave the ministry. They had incremental success, culminating with the resignation of McMillan, and as a result Dean no longer has anybody working for him.

My retirement plan is to hope my kids let me crash in the back bedroom.

Interestingly, part of what allowed my parents an even-better retirement is that my sister, who managed to go from being a teenage single mom working as a waitress to being a CFO in only 46 years, was buying their house from them.

So, to add this to the retirement theme of the previous thread, we won’t be able to afford to retire, but we also won’t be able to find any jobs that pay enough to live on with our 401ks and Social Security.

I’m going to start scoping out appliance stores for refrigerator boxes to live in. Who’s with me?

In Japan, outside Ueno Station in Tokyo, the homeless pull up their cardboard boxes under the roof every night for sleeping. They’re gone during the day.

It was a somewhat surreal experience. I don’t have any photos, because that felt disrespectful.

Whole regional disaster, and it’s already fading. What was the total toll?

This guy and one other were the only deaths I heard of in NM, and both were Arizonans who were in their vehicles.

Colorado got the worst of it.

I’ve been telling Son2 for years that IT pukes need to form a union guild. he says they’re too ‘individual’.

I’m trying not to come off as sounding creepy, but someone with a wit like yours, let a lone experience, is an asset to any employer. I can’t believe there aren’t more options or solutions for people like you in the U.S.
There is so much wasted potential in this country.

There are some employers that recognize things like that.

They are few and far between, unfortunately.

Again, so much wasted talent in the country.

Actually, they’re too libertarian, and have the “I’m all right, Jack, fuck you” attitude.

Some of them aren’t.

But there is an unfortunate tendency in that direction in the computer-related fields.

So did the British weavers, once.
