Geller: Oppose Resolution Condemning Ethnic Cleansing In Burma

Wingnuts • Views: 22,089

This woman is pure evil.

Pamela Geller is telling her fellow anti-Muslim activists to convince Congress to reject a resolution “urging the Government of Burma to end the persecution of the Rohingya people and respect internationally recognized human rights for all ethnic and religious minority groups within Burma.”

The Rohingya minority have faced vicious persecution in Burma, but Geller accuses them of “waging jihad in Burma.”

Various human rights groups and media outlets, along with groups from the Heritage Foundation to the Brookings Institute, have described the persecution of the Rohingya in Burma as ethnic cleansing.

But not Geller.

She claims that the Rohingya are to blame for the atrocities against them because of a bombing at a Buddhist shrine in India by the Islamic extremist Indian Mujahideen, and is demanding activists stop the resolution from turning into a “battering ram to impose Islam on small, defenseless countries.”

Anytime Buddhist monks have to carry guns for self-defense, it’s a good bet that the Religion of Peace is involved.

Muslims are waging jihad in Burma. But the Buddhists aren’t having it. Muslim Brotherhood groups in the US are agitating for UN intervention. Scroll and read Hamas-CAIR’s call for support of US resolution 418 calling for intervention. Please contact your Congressmen and Senators and tell them to VOTE NO on resolution 418. We have seen this before. It led to President Clinton sending US troops to fight for the Bosnian Muslims against the Christian Serbs, leading to the establishment of the first Islamic state in Europe (Kosovo).

Support the Buddhists in Burma. Seriously. Do this. I am in Boston, as our free speech lawsuit is being heard today, but I will be working the phones, and so should you. Burma is 90% Buddhist. These are a peaceful people. The Muslims have brought war to Burma. Bodh Gaya, the holiest site for the Buddhists the world over, was bombed in a series of Islamic terror attacks. Hamas-CAIR must be stopped from using the most powerful government in the world as its battering ram to impose Islam on small, defenseless countries.

the silent one,

I agree with you. She is truly a sick person.

This just backs up something I wrote about her earlier.

Pamella Geller Apparently Believes The NYT Is Antisemitic Due To Its Report On Cancer & Jewish Women : Lets See, who is more guilty of bigotry and demonizing a minority, her and her supporters or the New York Times!

From the Heritage link (Burma: Neighbors Call Out Regime on Rohingya Ethnic Cleansing) in the rightwingwatch story:

…Since the beginning of the conflict last year, an estimated 237 Rohingya have been killed, and another 140,000 have fled the country.

Burma does not grant legal status to the Rohingya and thus they have no legal recourse for abuses against them. Once in Malaysia and Indonesia, Rohingya are not automatically granted legal citizenship and can thus remain in limbo for years.

14 CuriousLurker  Thu, Dec 5, 2013 10:40:14am

Nice thought, but no.

The modern misconception that educated Europeans at the time of Columbus believed in a flat Earth, and that his voyages refuted that belief, has been referred to as the Myth of the Flat Earth. In 1945, the misconception was listed by the Historical Association (of Britain) as the second of 20 in a pamphlet on common errors in history. (Wikipedia)

Depends, if there is evidence he broke into her home—and she shot him on the premises —if he has a past record of sexual assault or violence against women … …

Personally, I’d rather serve prison time than let the guy rape me. But each of has to make our own choices.

re: #38 HoosierHoops

Geee, the investigation was shelved until TMZ started calling and asking questions almost a year later, but I’m sure that had nothing to do with the fact that they suddenly sent it to the DA’s office, where (surprise surprise!), it appears they decided they couldn’t charge him (because the case probably wouldn’t result in a conviction - their words) since she also had another male’s DNA on her clothes as well.

He revealed that while Winston’s DNA was present in the sexual assault kit, the DNA of another male was also found, complicating the investigation. That person had to be identified, but he was not associated with the complaint, Meggs said.

Lesson to all us women, I guess: if you’re going to be raped, be sure you didn’t have consensual sex anytime in the past 24-28 hours if you’d like an actual conviction.

Edited to add link.

It’s the conservatve FACTS, that don’t recognize that circumstances change.

Raising taxes makes sense now, it may not have 2 decades ago.
Overhauling the “welfare” system made sense in the 1990’s, it doesn’t now.

So, Winston got off, but left unsaid is anything about unprotected sex and the casual nature of the whole thing. I guess that all falls under boys will be boys and athletic boys more so or something. To me, not the picture of an outstanding individual…and isn’t that also part of the Heisman Trophy?

I had heard on the radio driving back home about a half hour ago the prosecutor said the young lady had trouble remembering facts, who the other partner was and how and where it all happened. I guess they’re saying she was borderline on the 0.8 alcohol rating and all that didn’t help.

I think I’ve heard all that before with both alcohol and drugs like Rohypnol and GHB.

So lesson learned…get ‘em drunk or unconscious and everything is just fine. Sort of like another Florida law, shoot ‘em dead and say they attacked you and you had to stand your ground.

I’m not sold on the styling. It’s beginning to look like a Nissan.

Having said that, a 305HP 4 cylinder power plant is pretty awesome.

And, the lesser weight on the front should make for a good handling car. I await seeing one. Cars always look different in picture and on the road.

I always post under Crime.

Just as a reminder, as it doesn’t seem to be common knowledge.

Years ago when I worked out of Bishop, I could see where orchards had existed before LA took the water. Then the masonry walls of a large house that LA thought they owned burned. LA would do everything they could to keep water going down to them. I rented a place that was at the end of a water ditch going to the pasture where several horses were kept. Several times the rancher would have to clear away a barrier diverting his water into a ditch LA had.

The Tea Party is operating on a revenge-based platform. And the Teabaggers (at least, their voters) are the insufficient, the not-good-enough, the LOSERS of today’s social order who are angry and want someone else to be responsible for their failures as human beings. So, the minute they get into office it’s plotting revenge against everyone they’ve always hated.

It’s a party that can only exist for a short time, before they alienate everyone around them because they are really just all about the hatred.

I point again to this

I hate to say this about such cute creatures, but capybara leather, called carpincho, is extremely popular in Argentina because of its softness. My ex used to have some beautiful boots made of it: carpinchonet.com.ar

One of the little guys who got hammered:

“Papa John” Schnatter is experiencing a major public relations backlash this week after announcing that he will be forced to raise the price of pizza by 14 cents because President Obama was re-elected. Shnatter believes ObamaCare will cost his franchise owners an extra $8 million per year.

With his $600 million net worth, Schnatter could absorb that for the next 75 years.

You’re totally right. And not all Orthodox Jews will stay Orthodox or be as politically conservative as their parents.

Furthermore Jews make up only 2% of the overall US population. (One more reason the paranoid conspiracy claims of “Jews controlling everything” are so absurd.) Given other demographic trends, that’s not likely to increase significantly, despite the high birthrates in Orthodox families. The American Jewish population is heavily urban, and concentrated in a relatively small number of states. Most states have a Jewish population of under 1%. So the Republicans may make some modest gains, but overall the electoral impact is not likely to be as significant as the tweet claims.

More of my kids are Democrats than Republicans. Also Jews tend to vote Democrat locally even if they vote GOP on a national ticket.

David Barton says that, according to the Bible, Scott Peterson shouldn’t be put to death for killing his wife & child

Seriously, what do we imagine David Barton actually knows? Whenever he attributes any of his desired opinions to an historical text, what should we think?

“There he goes again … . “
