Michelle Obama Continues Hawaiian Vacation, Breitbart Commenters Respond With Deluge of Racism

Wingnuts • Views: 40,577

So Joel Pollack posts Michelle Obama bait - a story about how President Obama is giving her an extended Hawaiian vacation for her 50th birthday, and immediately the Breitbart cavemen start frothing at the mouth.

All I can say is… wow! These cretins never cease to amaze me. Just when you think they’ve hit rock bottom, they go even lower.

All you have to do is say the name “Michelle Obama.”

I included links to some racist caricatures that were part of some comments, but only to illustrate just how depraved these people are. Click at your own risk.

Look, if you were a gay-man who was married to this knuckledragger…

What’s also sad is that when you present this kind of stuff to many Republicans/conservatives (or self-proclaimed “independents”), they immediately default to the No True Scotsman defense.

the author i am reading, g j meyer, absolves them of the darker aspects of their reputation for poisoning and unusual licentiousness

they were only ordinarily licentious, ruthless, and cynical for their age, no more (altho pope alexander did go a bit overboard in the nepotism department…)

lucrezia, in particular, seems to have been in reality a paragon of renaissance virtue, who co-ruled sensibly and chose her paramours with discretion and taste

Obama does it because “he can”. Obama will find his legacy will show how he abused his presidency “because he could”. This president is the most ego driven, solipsistic, shallow and just plain “as the good book says…without affection”. The only person to perhaps equal his greed of power is Michelle. The taxpayers have already paid for her huge Africa AND India trips. Hawaii is “small peanuts” for her.

Must be mentally relaxing to wake up with a new president and forget all about the foreign excursions/expenditures of the previous administration.

Woman gives birth in Walmart parking lot
Melbourne store to give family gift cards, care packages

MELBOURNE, Fla. -

It was supposed to be a quick shopping trip Thursday afternoon to the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Melbourne, but it turned into quite a day for a Central Florida family.

A pregnant woman and her three daughters were waiting in the car while the father went into the store to grab a few groceries.

The mother’s water broke while he was shopping, however, and when he came outside, he saw his children yelling for him to hurry to the car.

The man had only been inside the store for a few minutes, but in that short amount of time, the mother had given birth to her fourth child — a bouncing boy — in the car.

The bad thing is, Pollak is still in his 30s with a Harvard law degree, so any time he wants to leave his little nest at Britefart, he can leave, and we know that racism is portable.

pope alexander (the most famous borgia pope) does make for a very GoT like figure, channeling papal funds to his gonfonalier, his favorite nephew cesare borgia, for the purpose of clearing warlords out of the papal states and bringing them back under control, while at the same time balancing the interests of france and spain as they intrude themselves into italian politics and bring to an end an era of italian independence

6 y/o borgia children of doubtful parentage are endowed with cardinal hats, political enemies are tricked and clapped in dungeons, infants are betrothed to teenagers in political deals, and cesare campaigns constantly around mid italy, a leading figure of his day going from success to success until his luck runs out…

Meanwhile, this report about homicides in NYC sheds more light on just what kind of violence is really going on.

Just 29 victims of the city’s record-low 334 slayings in 2013 did not know their killers, according to NYPD homicide stats.
Murders by strangers are considered a key to assessing the overall safety of a city as they typically result from violent street muggings, store robberies or shootouts that claim the lives of innocent bystanders.
Last year’s figure is down 45 percent from the 53 people killed by strangers in 2012, leaving the odds that a victim was done in by an assailant who was not a friend, family member or acquaintance in 2013 at 1 in 275,000.

Even veteran cops were left stunned.

“That’s unbelievable,” said one senior police official when informed of the numbers.

He said that murders by strangers commonly unfold in stickups at gas stations and bodegas, a crime that once plagued the city but is rapidly disappearing.

“Those are few and far between now,” he said, adding that stores selling cellphones and services have become the top target of armed robbers.
The 29 victims of strangers involve only cases in which cops ID’d the killer, so the final tally could tick up as cops solve more murders.

There were 62 additional victims killed by a family member, including 17 by a spouse, parent or child, and 53 more slain by a friend or acquaintance — a total of 115 during the year. An acquaintance can include a rival gang member, cops said.

That’s down from the 151 non-stranger slayings in 2012, a 24 percent drop, among the 419 homicides that year.

I must say, I give big Kudos to Mitt Romney when he was pressed over and over by Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, about the whole Melissa Harris Perry thing…he took the high road, not the bait.

I think most on-line ads by Wal-Mart include a disclaimer cautioning that in-store price(s) may be higher than for mail-order on-line orders.

If memory serves, Best Buy got caught about 7 years ago or so running a version of their site that didn’t have certain sale prices listed, that the routers in the store were doing a redirect to the “in-house” site, not the general one visible in the internet.

What strikes me as kind of sad is the number of people who are “willing to help organize” this march, without, I suspect, the faintest clue what sort of planning and preparation pulling off an event like that would take-certainly more than a few amateurs putting in a little time for 3 or 4 months.
The logistics of getting a few hundred thousand (never mind the 10 million) people to into any city takes planning, and even if the organizers don’t care about restrooms, first aid, food and water, or any of the other things attendees will expect, you can bet the attendees would care.

Cutler is slightly above average, and the Bears paid a ridiculous sum of money to retain him. I’m not saying you should have let him go and went with McCown, either. He’s a journeyman that caught lighting in a bottle while Cutler was hurt, and was very classy about Cutler getting his job back. Like every Sam Houston alum would. (Says fellow Sam Houston alum)

I also renew my unalloyed admiration for Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers have had a string of three very great QB’s in a row - I include Don Majkowski in that even though he was rather fragile. When he wasn’t injured he could play very well and prepared the Packers as a team for where first Favre & then Rodgers could take them.

It’s a hard thing choosing an all time great Packers team. About the only safe bet at any position is Don Hutson :)

About to have a pork steak with rice for dinner. Maybe top it off with a bit of Sriracha. Ah, what an exciting life I live.

Debating buying my grow lights. 2 or 3 of these for my Carnivorous Plants:
htgsupply.com

3 of them would triple my current light output (my 4x T8s put out 10k lumens or so, each one of those 2x T5HOs put out the same).

I also discovered that Sarracenia psittacina and or Sarracenia rosea can be grown indoors, all other American pitcher plants other than maybe Sarracenia Purpurpea (which can survive in Canada) can’t survive outside in Idaho.

Also, if I ever see shrink wrap again it’ll be too soon. :P

Families of presidents should be off limits for this kind of garbage criticism.

And that’s especially true, I believe, in the case of First Ladies like Michelle Obama and Laura Bush. Unlike, say, Hillary and Nancy Reagan, Michelle and Laura don’t even seem to be involved in policy or staff decisions. So, again unlike Hillary and Nancy, there’s nothing substantive upon which to heap “criticism”.

I didn’t like W. But the worst thing I think I ever said about his wife was, “Why did she decide to marry HIM?” Otherwise, I never really gave her much thought. Same goes for Michelle. They’re both classy and good role models, but not politically relevant. They shouldn’t get dragged into the sewer. But the depth of right wing hatred for Michelle is obscene, and way beyond the left’s distaste for Laura. Unfortunately, as the older Obama daughter approaches adulthood, I suspect we’ll hear even more of this type of sick attack.

Meanwhile, back at the original topic of the thread - What the everlasting fuck is WRONG with these people? Seriously, they act like they’re 12 years old, each of them trying to outdo the others with an inane racist insult. Over on a bowhunting forum I no longer visit, a guy I used to respect called Obama “President Poopy Pants”.

“President Poopy Pants”? WTF?

Next, I expect them to build a clubhouse in a tree and call it the ‘He-man Woman Haters Club’ and have a sign that says, “No gurls alowd.’

Hey, how’s that GOP outreach to women and minorities going?

113 ausador  Sun, Jan 5, 2014 4:57:25pm

Remember the recent stories about Bald Eagles dieing in large numbers in Utah? The cause of the eagle die off was recently explained by scientists as exposure to the West Nile virus because the eagles were eating dead migratory birds (carrion is a big part of the Bald Eagle’s diet) who had themselves died from the virus.

It turns out that some Christian fundamentalists have their own non-ivory tower, liberally biased, made-up by egg-headed science type’s explanation though, and it has to do with same-sex marriage now being allowed in Utah…yes, really. :(

I wonder if this mysterious death of 12 Bald Eagles in Utah has anything to do with that judges ruling?

Remember, It says in the Bible, “That not a sparrow will fall to the earth unless God gives His nod First”. I think that might be the case here.
I honestly could not make this kinda shit up if I tried…

Especially if she makes the kind of silly mistakes teenagers are prone to. I do feel for her in that way: Malia’s going to have to walk the straight and narrow while other sow wild oats, just to keep her family from drawing fire from people who want her to fail and hate her for the color of her skin.
