We Got World Cup Mail!

A touching message

Received today from a right wing caveman in Plano, Texas, who sends these kinds of love notes frequently (and also stalks me elsewhere on the web):

Charles, are you aware the World Cup is going on ? I would think that an internationalist such as yourself would be all over that.

And there are so many other countries for you to root for other than the GodDamn Americans—-including a lot of the black nations in Africa.

Now why in the world wouldn’t I want to be part of a movement that has wonderful, caring people like this in it? I must be crazy.

Plano, Texas, eh?

Is he aware that the captain of the US squad is a proud son of the Lone Star State?

Also, I dunno about you, but I’m giddy about the US advancing at the expense of an African country that KOed us each of the last two tournaments. I guess that’s the hate-murka librul in me.

Israel names two Hamas militants as key suspects in kidnappings

trust.org

JERUSALEM, June 26 (Reuters) - Israel on Thursday named two Hamas Islamists as leading suspects in the June 12 kidnappings of three Israeli teenagers, in the most concrete report yet of results after weeks of searches in the occupied West Bank.

“An Israeli military spokeswoman confirmed reports that troops were seeking Marwan Kawasme and Amar Abu Aysha, militants in their 30s from the Hebron area of the occupied West Bank, both of whom have served time in Israeli prisons in the past.

“Israel’s Shin Bet Security Agency said in a statement both men had been wanted and at large since the kidnappings, adding that several other Palestinians suspected of involvement in the abductions were being questioned.” More

Ask them to point it out on a map with no markings for countries or cities. Or if you’re particularly cruel, ask them what country it’s located in If they can’t identify the country, then laugh at them mercilessly.

Benghazi, Libya or Benghazi, Lebanon

Tripoli is in both countries, not Benghazi; but Reagan had his own Benghazi when the barracks bombings happened (where’s the photos of him in the ready room?/)

I didn’t feel like I had any control in my life. But as a skinhead, people were afraid of me. I mean, I was all of 4-foot-9, and people were afraid of me. It made me feel like I was in control, like I had some power.

Ark. GOP Leader Resigns After Saying Hillary Clinton ‘Would Probably Get Shot At The State Line’ If She Runs For President

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — A district chairman with the Republican Party of Arkansas resigned after he was quoted saying that Hillary Clinton “would probably get shot at the state line” if she ran for president in 2016, the GOP announced Wednesday.
GOP Chairman Doyle Webb says Johnny Rhoda stepped down as 2nd District Republican chairman Wednesday. The day before, U.S. News & World Report reported that Rhoda said in an interview that he didn’t believe Clinton was popular in Arkansas and that a presidential campaign wouldn’t be well-received.
“Moments ago I received the resignation of Johnny Rhoda as 2nd District Republican Chairman,” Webb said in a statement released by the party. “He was apologetic for the statements he made to media yesterday and although he feels he was taken out of context, he knows that his statements have created an unnecessary distraction from the important issues before the state today.”

How ISIs is gaming the world’s journalists

ISIL’s social media strategy has wowed the masses. VICE called them “total social media pros” and lauded the group’s multi-pronged approach.

Other jihadist groups have made use of online platforms, including Facebook, independent forums and Twitter, but ISIL has earned a name for having the most internet success so far. The group has added Android apps, professionally shot and edited videos, and multilingual media outlets to its online arsenal — not to mention their own line of commercial products.

“We are here to show Muslims that we are fighting for the caliphate … restoring glory, honor, dignity, and equality to the Islamic nation,” said Abu Bakr Al Janabi, a dedicated ISIL supporter living in the EU who often translates and re-posts the group’s statements.

Rubbish. This is unheard of because it has never happened and can’t happen in this universe. Even a science hating RWNJ yokel should understand that the laws of ballistics are pretty well established. Not many things are as cut and dried as which way an artillery shell will go at a given elevation and azimuth. The logical conclusion is that the howitzer was elevated beyond the horizontal or the shell could not have arrived where it did.
Otoh, an Obama false flag drone could have seized the shell in mid-air and re-directed it in an effort to discredit private artillery owners, so the range owner is not quite out of options.

Conserative White Male Resentment of the Day

In small towns across America, manly men are customizing their jacked-up diesel trucks to intentionally emit giant plumes of toxic smoke every time they rev their engines. They call it “rollin’ coal,” and it’s something they do for fun.

Aside from being macho, the rollin’ coal culture is also a renegade one. Kids make a point of blowing smoke back at pedestrians, in addition to cop cars and rice burners (Japanese-made sedans), which can make it dangerously difficult to see out of the windshield. Diesel soot can also be a great road rage weapon should some wimpy looking Honda Civic ever piss you off.

except cop cars i think not that’s a $200+ ticket i should think

When I was in the Army, our aviation unit (Chinooks, a lift unit) was supporting an ADA (Air Defense Artillery) Brigade. They were experimenting with using the Vulcan (a 20mm Gatling gun) in a ground defense situation. I got to fire it. :) The sound it made could only be described as BBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! If God had used velcro to hold the universe together, him pulling it apart would be the same sound.

And the Saudis helped crash the price of oil on the international market (admittedly, it also punished the countries that were cheating on the OPEC production limits), killing the Soviet’s main source of hard currency.

i’m always amused by the argument that “communism failed” but somehow only because of something that reagan did

So how come my local mall does more business in an afternoon than the entire Internet handles in a month? Even if there were a trustworthy way to send money over the Internet—which there isn’t—the network is missing a most essential ingredient of capitalism: salespeople.”

re: #75 Shiplord Kirel

Otoh, an Obama false flag drone could have seized the shell in mid-air and re-directed it in an effort to discredit private artillery owners, so the range owner is not quite out of options.

I breathlessly await the Alex Jones segment on the proliferation of new Obummer drones, capable of seizing accurately-aimed projectiles from all the good-hearted, law-abiding open-carry patriots, and sinfully redirecting them into innocent bystanders.

BONUS: it will allow the NRA to claim that careless storage of firearms in the house don’t lead to thousands of tragic deaths of children each year, as those bullets were headed in a safe direction, were it not for the perfidious actions of those faster-than-sound drones.

It’s all Obamas fault!!!

Next up on The Blaze: special super-secret detector that will allow you to spot said drones if they invade your house. Only $199.95. A bargain at ten times the price.

Keeps your all fluids untainted. Also.
