Breitbart’s John Nolte: The Epitome of Right Wing Class

A winning message
Wingnuts • Views: 32,107

The Republican National Committee needs to hire Breitbart “News” editor John Nolte right away — he’s bringing a message that’s a sure winner for the GOP in 2016!

Note that the original version of Nolte’s first tweet above omitted the word “left-wing” and simply called all unmarried women “needy, entitled, spoiled, crybaby, helpless.”

Some previous hits from the always incisive Nolte:

Breitbart Editor John Nolte: ‘Teachers Who Take Kids to Protests Should Be Murdered’

Married women who want to have sex with their husbands are dirty sluts who should keep their legs shut according to John.

6 sagehen  Jul 7, 2014 12:59:23pm

Does it not occur to these people that HUSBANDS, too, would like if their wives’ health care policy (or their own, if it’s a family policy) were to cover IUD’s? Are they somehow convinced that husbands won’t mind having to shell out $1000 upfront, or that husbands all want their wives to have as many pregnancies and as many children as they’re physically capable of?

Newsflash… very few Duggar families in this world. Please take note next time you’re at mass… there’s not a lot of families with 9 or 10 or 11 children these days. Even among the devout Catholics.

(I dunno about the rest of you, but in my circle of acquaintances condoms are the go-to for people who haven’t examined two years of each other’s blood test results, switching to pills and IUD’s and escaping from barrier methods is one of the great markers of commitment.)

Damn left wing women….always complaining about trying to stay healthy and live long lives. Also sex is gross

Oh, I don’t want Ovarian cancer! Boo-hoo! Quit yer crying ya damn libs

Link

Each five-year interval of oral contraceptive use cuts a woman’s ovarian cancer risk by up to 29%. The longer a woman uses the pill, the lower her risk of ovarian cancer, find Valerie Beral, MD, director of the Cancer Research Epidemiology Unit at Oxford University, England, and colleagues.

In my experience, lots of folks prefer, ah… two-factor authentication, shall we say.

It’s almost like the single women I’ve dated are LEGITIMATELY RESPONSIBLE and don’t want to ACCIDENTALLY GET PREGNANT because THEY DON’T WANT TO INTRODUCE CHILDREN TO THE WORLD WHO WON’T BE BROUGHT INTO A GOOD LIFE SITUATION or something.

Some background: I kind of have two congressmen representing me, as the county I live in in CO was gerrymandered recently so CO’s 3rd district will be (R) for a long time. The county is basically split in half, with the resort areas being represented by Jared Polis and the downvalley bedroom and ranching communities are represented by Scott Tipton. I live downvalley and work upvalley, so I’ve got 2 congressmen!

Anyhoo, Tipton’s Twitter is definitely manned by some intern, as it’s pretty boring legislative stuff with some anti-Obama stuff sprinkled here and there (and the anti-Obama stuff is pretty measured compared to, say, Louie Gohmert). Polis does it right. He has two Twitter accounts, a personal one and a Congressman Polis one. The Congressman Polis one is quite similar in style to Tipton’s, pretty boring legislative stuff. But you can tell he reads and tweets on his own with his personal account, which is one of the reasons that account has exponentially more followers than his other account. He can say stuff like this:

Funny thing is that as a single woman I mainly use condoms - you know, to prevent disease as well. It’s only been when I’ve been in a long term committed relationship that other forms of birth control have even been considered.

And what about men’s sex lives. We don’t need birth control to masturbate.

Heh. The Czech Republic is quite the opposite; a society in which sex is fairly ubiquitous, and in which the act of sex itself is treated as casually as one would a beer on a hot August afternoon. The Czechs certainly do think Americans can be quite priggish in their attitude on the matter.

Ohhh Kay. One of the nutcases I lurk has put me on to the motherlode of Sovereign Citizen derp. Seems one of the common law grand juries has revived the Grand Army of the Republic and authorized it, under a General Order issued by President Lincoln, to replace the current federal government.

(This is a cache of the nutcase site, if I did it right. The text is quite extensive, and the struggle between the Judean People’s Front and the People’s Front of Judea is evident.)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
RELEASED BY: Admin. David Robinson,
[no phone numbers allowed]
UNIFIED MAINE COMMON LAW GRAND JURY
* ******** ***, Brunswick, Maine, 04011
LEX NATURALIS — DEI GRATIA

PRESS RELEASE
For JULY 4, 2014
“ON June 19, 2014 the organic American states of the Union — known as The United States of America exercising plenary civil power upon the land — issued Orders to all Members of the domestic Police Forces, US Marshals Service, the Provost Marshal, members of the American Bar Association, and the American Armed Services; and Appointed General Carter F. Ham to lead and command The Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) and its successors under the guidance of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and with their full support.

The Orders stIpulated that should it become necessary to suppress commercial mercenary forces operating under the guise of being federal government agencies — including but not limited to the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Emergency Management Administration, the Internal Revenue Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, etc. — General Ham shall assume immediate command and control of all armed forces and services owed to The United States of America stationed in North America and shall join them under his Command as The Grand Army of the Republic. And that all forces of air, land, and sea are to be employed.”

re: #103 Bubblehead II

This is from the User Guide, Part 2, near the end.

You can embed a Tweet in your comment. The time signature in a Tweet is a link to that Tweet. Copy the link and paste it into your comment on its own line. Preview to see how it will look. All the little widgets in the Tweet will be functional in your comment, operating through a pop up window. You can even retweet it from the Master Spy. When you reply to a comment containing an embedded Tweet, it gets removed. If you want a Tweet to appear in your reply as it does in the comment you are replying to, you can copy the link in the embedded Tweet as you would one at Twitter.

We’re going to move into the bat cave downstairs (the one that’s been empty for a couple of months). It has 3 BRs and the munchkin really needs his own. And there’s more space for him to play, too. It has a covered patio.

It’s not dark enough to really matter that much, and when I looked at it today, the A/C wasn’t on and it was still cool inside (the backside is underground). And this one has washer and dryer hookups. It has more pluses than minuses in reality.

I really hate packing and having to find boxes, though.

Here’s one of the finer points of tweeting:

That tweet you just tweeted went only to the person whose twitter handle is at the beginning. If you want it to ALSO go to all of your followers, put something in front of that twitter handle, like a period, or a quotation mark, or put his handle at the end instead.

That’s really what it is, they’re not outraged about “overreach,” they’re outraged that these organizations exist in the first place. In their fantasy world, the only reason that the government keeps secrets is to cover up crimes and morally righteous nations don’t spy on their “allies.” Not much difference from the “No-Nukes” crowd who continues to profess to this day that unilateral nuclear disarmament by America would lead other nations to do away with their own nukes…instead of using them as leverage against us.

Over the weekend, there was a tv show on, “How the States Got Their Shapes”. There were obvious points made about the Mason/Dixon Line, how the Missouri Compromise set the borders and trimmed more than a few states, but they also repeatedly pointed out how a whole boatload of states got their shapes because they were captured from foreign countries or were independent republics.

New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, California. All part of other countries before becoming part of the growing US. More folks than not are immigrants to those states. They’re not native born to those states. They came from somewhere else - immigrants.

Add to that the Murietta nitwits blocking federal officials from carrying out the law by processing individuals that are eventually supposed to be deported, and you’ve got a total mental breakdown by the right wing on immigration (along with pretty much every other issue).

Add to that the Murietta nitwits blocking federal officials from carrying out the law by processing individuals that are eventually supposed to be deported, and you’ve got a total mental breakdown by the right wing on immigration (along with pretty much every other issue).

some mammals are lawyers; corporations have parts that are lawyers

mammals need food; corporations own food

corporation people have a different tax rate than mammal people

corporation people can eat in one place and then there is another part of them that lives in another place where there are no taxes; mammal people can try this but it is hard without your private jet plane car

mammals have a different kind of sex than corporation people it’s messier and doesn’t generally involve contracts

Yes, that’s the age-old gotcha with images — browsers cache them and won’t reload them without special measures, like emptying the cache or force-reloading the page.

I actually have a super secret special tricky method for making browsers always reload images (and other resources like CSS and JS files) that have changed, but it’s a little too complex to get into right now. Easiest way for you to make sure it’s not cached is to just re-upload it with a different file name.

Wait until you hit the Duke of Orc in Tiny Tina’s DLC. The Warrior is a pantywaist compared to him. I’ve only gotten past him once, and that’s because I was lucky enough to get him hung up on the scenery. Still took me over ten minutes to kill him.

I once hit him with a 100k+ rocket launcher, twice, and barely moved his health bar.

I don’t think the designers tested that DLC carefully, or they figured every player that got that far had super duper legendary weapons.

This is where the absence of any principle beyond “Pissing Off Liberals” in modern Conservatism is laid bare. My experience of Righties is that they HATE the Prius, and the Leaf, and the SmartCar, far beyond simply “I don’t like it.” They actively despise them and applaud any problems they might have. When Fisker’s cars started catching fire, they were beisde themselves with glee!

The funny thing was the reaction to the ‘unintentional acceleration’ controversy with the Prius a few years back. They simultaneously pointed tot it as proof the technology isn’t all it’s cracked up to be AND insisted the problem was overblown to help ‘Government Motors’ by hurting their biggest competitor.

That was the first thing that came to mind for me as well. All the bullshit science they’re used to promotion TRAP laws, from “women suffer mental illness from abortion!” to “fetal pain!” are now moving to the next act in this play, where they use the toxicity they’ve built around abortion to attack birth control.

But you can be sure that wingnuts will keep snarking about condoms…right until they find a way to say those are also a form of abortion. Perhaps spermicides induce miscarriages or some shit.

Once again, Cognitive Dissonance - It’s what’s for dinner!

The acceleration issue was a problem with other models of Toyota but I don’t think it specifically applied to the Prius. Also TEH GM VOLTS EXPLODE!!!!! what happened was that the battery was not removed from a test vehicle after crash tests, no consumer vehicles ever exploded on the road, but wingnuts make it seem like you would be driving on the highway next to some random Volt and BOOM!

Improper removal of the battery from hybrid vehicles can cause problems, this has been known.

But of course, 10-25 gallons of gas is perfectly safe in a crash.

I get that when I start talking about the basis of the social contract in Locke and how the FF’s were more into that than into the fantasy of “natural rights”. re: #319 Decatur Deb

Sorry, wrong link.

In 1993, while McGuire was at the St. John Vianney Center, Father Hardon was called into the case. The California family that had lodged the latest accusation against McGuire—an accusation that McGuire stoutly denied—agreed to accept Father Hardon’s evaluation of the case. Evidently Jesuit superiors also saw him as an ideal intermediary. Father Hardon was a friend of McGuire’s, and his ally in the theological battles that often rattled the Jesuit order. But the older Jesuit also had an impeccable reputation for honesty and for looking at facts without blinking. If Father Hardon testified that McGuire was innocent of grave wrongdoing, the Jesuit order seemed prepared to accept that testimony.

So Father Hardon visited McGuire in Pennsylvania, spoke to him privately at length, and—sad to say—he blinked.

In their long conversation, which Father Hardon later recorded in correspondence that has now been made public, McGuire admitted that he had showered with his teenage companions. He admitted that he had asked the boys to give him massages. He admitted using pornography with them. But he denied the more serious charges of engaging in actual sex acts. Father Hardon wrote that he accepted the veracity of McGuire’s denial: “I do not believe there was any conscious and deliberate sexual perversity.”

Sen. Robert Menendez seeks probe of alleged Cuban plot to smear him

washingtonpost.com

Sen. Robert Menendez is asking the Justice Department to pursue evidence obtained by U.S. investigators that the Cuban government concocted an elaborate plot to smear him with allegations that he cavorted with underage prostitutes, according to people familiar with the discussions.

(snip)

“The intelligence information indicated that operatives from Cuba’s Directorate of Intelligence helped create a fake tipster using the name “Pete Williams,” according to the former official. The tipster told FBI agents and others he had information about Menendez participating in poolside sex parties with underage prostitutes while vacationing at the Dominican Republic home of Salomon Melgen, a wealthy eye doctor, donor and friend of the senator.

(snip)

“The allegations against Menendez erupted in public in November 2012, when the Daily Caller, a conservative Web site, quoted two Dominican women claiming Menendez had paid them for sex.” More

Fr. Hardon was also convinced Donald McGuire was innocent of abusing boys.
nytimes.com

Found it. Hardon (now dead) was too fanatical for the Jesuits. From his otherwise fawning Wiki:

“Controversy
While teaching at St. John’s, Hardon reacted to a woman’s question about his thoughts on the Enneagram of Personality. He responded with an article listing his objections to the concept, viewing it as a New Age process dangerous to the Catholic faith. Soon after he was summoned to appear before his Jesuit superior to speak on the matter, at the conclusion of the meeting he was informed he would be forbidden to teach at any Jesuit run institution.[6] At the time of his death Hardon had not been allowed to teach at a Jesuit school for sixteen years. He viewed this as persecution for teaching the faith and saw it as “white martyrdom” and when recalling it would advise his listeners that they should be willing to suffer for the true doctrines of Catholicism.[6] Hardon was also rebuffed by the chancery of the Archdiocese of Detroit who refused to use any of his books in their catechetical materials and he was never invited to their conferences and seminars - though he was in high demand across the rest of the nation.[6] The conservative Catholic newspaper The Wanderer reported that Fr. Patrick Halfpenny, vice-rector of Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit had a standing order at The Michigan Catholic (the diocesan newspaper of the Archdiocese of Detroit) that Hardon’s picture was not to be printed and also that if his name was to be mentioned at all it would be in the smallest font possible, due to Halfpenny’s belief that “He’s divisive.”[6] The Wanderer also pointed out that at the Mass celebrating the 50th anniversary of his ordination at Assumption Grotto in Detroit, though attended by many friends, not a single Jesuit other than Hardon was there.[6]”

On Tuesday, Abbott struggled to explain how Texans might learn of dangerous chemicals in their midst.
“You know where they are if you drive around,” Abbott told reporters at an event in Austin. “You can ask every facility whether or not they have chemicals or not. You can ask them if they do and they can tell you, ‘Well, we do have chemicals or we don’t have chemicals.’ And if they do, they tell which ones they have.”

Sure, that will work.

And if you happened to be less than lily white, perhaps had just a wee bit of an accent, then you’ll be in front of the Sheriff trying to prove that you aren’t a terrorist.

As I posted in a sidebar story, everything is bigger in Texas, so there is crazy, and then there is TEXAS CRAZY. This is pure Texas Crazy.

ON June 19, 2014 the organic American states of the Union — known as The United States of America exercising plenary civil power upon the land — issued Orders to all Members of the domestic Police Forces, US Marshals Service, the Provost Marshal, members of the American Bar Association, and the American Armed Services; and Appointed General Carter F. I waited till it came out on HBO. Or Netflix, I forget - somthing I’d already paid for. I wouldn’t have paid to see it in a theater.

It was a way to spend an evening when I didn’t want to think. It worked pretty well for that.

386 Decatur Deb  Jul 7, 2014 6:36:47pm

Last night we managed to catch the first show of the new (2nd) season of “Endeavour”, the Inspector Morse prequel. It was flawless, better-produced than most theatre films. The series will be as good as the best of the Morse and Lewis shows. They took immense care, even giving the photography the look of slightly-faded Kodachromes. it was probably a fluke, but the mood was helped by the constant references to the ongoing 1966 World Cup. It’s on PBS here again late tonight.

There’s a corollary to her statement that’s obvious to everyone but libertarians. The only way the wealthy man can reliably ensure his consent holds sway is through the use of force, by paying for people in one form or other to defend him and his property. Either he pays for his society to have an independent police and judicial system or he engages those hostile to his interests by way of bodyguards and assassins who’s loyalty is, by definition, purchasable. Either he accepts the practical requirement that he pay for for public roads, hospitals, and basic welfare, or he risks the the violence of desperate men who need to feed their families. He cannot simply place faith in the average man believing the same simplistic platitudes about force and voluntary consent that he so publicly espouses.

“The man of great wealth owes a peculiar obligation to the state because he derives special advantages from the mere existence of government.”
-Teddy Roosevelt
