Ukrainian intelligence service SSU has released this new video on YouTube with verified evidence that Russian operatives and Ukrainian separatists worked to find and conceal the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight 17’s black box flight recorders.

Reuters released the following video showing the actual moment one of the flight recorders was discovered by separatists.

But Edward Jay Epstein of The Wall Street Journal recently reported, citing a source familiar with the Defense Intelligence Agency report on the Snowden affair, that “U.S. investigative agencies have been unable to find any credit-card charges or hotel records indicating his whereabouts” between May 20 and June 1.

Furthermore, Epstein went to Hong Kong and confirmed that Snowden didn’t check into the Mira Hotel until June 1, which was a couple of days before he met with journalists Laura Poitras and Glenn Greenwald.

Pretty opaque for a transparency advocate.

In April of this year Hamas for the first time ever accepted that there would need to be a two state solution rather than a complete annihilation of Israel and its Jewish citizenry. I can’t help but wonder if all the rocket firing got started by a holdout faction of Hamas that wants to impede all progress towards peace negotiations. For years these attacks have been employed as a way of creating hatred and violence on both sides to make negotiating next to impossible. The subset of Palestinians who want to destroy Israel permanently realize that the best way to fan the flames of hatred is to provoke attacks; when Palestinians and Israelis lose family members anger and hatred are a likely result.

Israel has a right to defend herself, but that does not necessarily mean that a very damaging ground campaign is the wisest course of action since it achieves the rocket shooters’ objective of creating hatred. Israel may be making the mistake of playing into their hands.
