Republican Rep. Mo Brooks: Obama and Democrats Are Waging “War on Whites”

Congressman Mo Brooks, who is from Alabama and is a Republican (what are the odds?) told wingnut radio host Laura Ingraham today that the GOP’s intransigent hardline stance on immigration isn’t going to hurt the party with Latino voters. Nope, not at all. What’s really going on, according to Brooks, is that the Democrats are waging a “war on whites.”

And it’s all part of the nefarious strategy devised by Barack Obama, of course.

“This is a part of the war on whites that’s being launched by the Democratic Party. And the way in which they’re launching this war is by claiming that whites hate everybody else,” he said during an interview Monday with conservative radio host Laura Ingraham. “It’s part of the strategy that Barack Obama implemented in 2008, continued in 2012, where he divides us all on race, on sex, greed, envy, class warfare, all those kinds of things. Well that’s not true.”

As I posted elsewhere, if the Democratic party or the government is conducting a war on me as a straight, white male, they’re doing a really crappy job of it.

I can vote, speak out, get decent credit terms from a bank despite going bankrupt when the housing market crashed, get more call backs for job interviews because of my rather common name, I live in suburbia and I drive a nice, albeit old (2004) car.

I suppose he means that I can’t say stupid shit about other groups of people without facing some consequences now, but I never did that to begin with because my parents raised me right.

Mississippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel (R) and his legal team formally announced on Monday his legal challenge to the runoff results of the Republican primary for U.S. Senate, saying he won the nomination by 25,000 votes on June 24 and asked the party to award him the nomination without holding another election.

I’ve seen the right pump hatred against a prime minister before. It ended on February 28th 1986, 23:21 local time.

I’ve seen two cycles of hateful arguments against immigrants in my life, the first time ending with John Ausonius, the second time ending with Peter Mangs.

Currently, the GOP and the right wing (or should I say Reich wing?) is pumping hatred against the leader of the nation and against immigrants in the same way as I have seen not only once but twice before. Maybe even topping the level of hatred here in Sweden.

The professional RW agitators are deliberately amping up the rhetoric in the expectation that extremists will follow up on it. The murder of Dr. Tiller along these lines was a success for the RWNJs, and there is no reason to believe they will abandon a successful strategy.

Isn’t that inciting armed rebellion against the government? I might be expecting too much of the law of United states, but isn’t that like one of the places where free speech ends in the United States?

If they can get white victimhood accepted by public at large it’s bad because whites will still be a very large vote bloc even if not the majority for some time to come.

But even though Romney got 60% of the White vote, he still lost. Not sure if playing the race card works for Republicans — at least during the Presidential election.
