Those work good for waterbottles, but the cup falls out and is at the wrong angle. I actually did see somebody on a ride with a ‘bent that had a boat cupholder (the kind that pivots on a couple of axis) mounted off his handlebars.

When I was a youngster in Madison there was a commercial that would come on at least 10 times a day/night. Usually I was watching the Twilight Zone or Perry Mason at the time.

It was some of the cheesiest sh*t I’ve ever heard. It was like a suburban John Denver on extasy. The CD/Album was ‘views from a leaf,’ and the big hit was ‘listening in sound’. I tried to google it, but I got zilch.
