A rumor began circulating through the third-string wingnut blogs two days ago that Michael Brown’s friend Dorian Johnson, who was with Brown when he was gunned down by officer Darren Wilson, had “recanted” his account of the events and admitted Brown did attack Wilson in his police car.

Before this bogus rumor ends up on Gateway Pundit, as so many bogus rumors do, here’s a definitive refutation posted tonight on Twitter by Washington Post reporter Wesley Lowery, citing Johnson’s attorney:

Rumor floating that Dorian Johnson has recanted/changed his version of story. His attorney tells me: “it’s not true. Pure propaganda!”
