CNN’s Brian Stelter Rips Fox News for Hyping Jim Hoft’s “Fractured Eye Socket” Hoax
Stelter calls this “Red News/Blue News,” but it’s really not a partisan divide — it’s the difference between making stuff up to incite hatred and trying to be accurate.
And I’ll point out again that no media have so far picked up on the fact that Hoft claimed his source for this story was the St. Louis County Prosecutor’s office. If so, this is a serious violation of ethics at best, and possibly illegal.
