More Video of STL County Officer Dan Page: “Police Hire Blacks Because They’re Eager to Kill White People”

Bad craziness with authority
US News • Views: 26,448

YouTube

Here’s video of Dan Page, the St. Louis County Police officer who was put on administrative leave after his bizarre sovereign citizen views and outright racism became public, spewing all kinds of End Times conspiracy theories. An especially interesting part begins at about 27:00, when Page says the military and police departments only make special efforts to recruit young black men because they’re willing to use lethal force against white people.

One of the things that’s become very clear in the Michael Brown story, and with the hundreds of ugly racist comments posted on police discussion forums and in the crowd-funding page for officer Darren Wilson, is that the police forces of St. Louis County and Ferguson, Missouri have a very serious problem with white supremacism in their ranks.

This shouldn’t be too surprising or controversial, because according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Missouri is home to at least 23 hate groups.

There’s no way this guy decided after 35 years on the force that he was gonna wake up one day and just start saying stupid shit like this where others could hear it.

Ferguson PD should suffer the same fate as that of Wilson’s first police department.

The racism seems to be far too ingrained to be cut out piecemeal. Just tear it down and start over.

Anyone with ties to the Oath Keepers should be barred from being a cop.

There are strict rules in most jurisdiction on organization which officers are not allowed to be associated with. Oath keepers should be one of them.

8 Mattand  Aug 25, 2014 11:13:57am

I forget whether it was here, but somebody pointed out the fact that the Ferguson and St. Louis County PDs were openly threatening reporters (many of them white), knowing full well they were being filmed for worldwide consumption.

I am genuinely worried for the locals once the feds and the media leave.

Its racism, pure and simple

12 goddamnedfrank  Aug 25, 2014 11:17:41am

Classic DARVO. Society shows strong evidence of continued de facto segregation, black poverty, unemployment and diminished educational opportunities and revanchist white assholes then willfully misinterpret a disproportionately low ratio of interracial murders as being disproportionately high.

re: #5 lawhawk

IIRC, our own NJ State Troopers had a problem in their ranks with a Neo-Nazi group called the Lords of Discipline. That’s in addition to an African American trooper suing the department for a hostile workplace.

I really try to keep in mind there are many, many, good cops out there. This kind of garbage really makes it tough, both for them and the public.

One area where I wish the police were MORE like the military is recruitment standards. IIRC you couldn’t be a member of any white supremacist orgs or hate orgs of any kind if you wanted to be in/stay in the military.

I remember one guy in boot camp having to tell a black drill sgt he was in the KKK and thought he’d be serving with white people only. He was “sent to the house”.

But that wouldn’t fit the narrative that Greenwald and the dudebros have put forth - that Snowden was all about freeing information and showing that the US was violating Americans’ rights and civil liberties.

Except they’ve pretty much shown nothing of the sort; they’ve exposed US programs against foreign entities, undermined US intel gathering, and the one thing Greenwald and The Intercept are good at doing is generating empty headlines - lots of sound and fury, but the content doesn’t ever quite live up to the claims.

Even that broke down during the last war, when the Army lowered recruitment standards in order to have a ready supply of warm bodies to send to Iraq and Afghanistan. A lot of those kinds of jackholes got allowed in or offered service in lieu of jail time than would have otherwise.

While we’re talking about St. Louis County police racism, let’s not forget this:

The inquiry began after Fitch and Lt. Col. Ken Gregory, who oversees patrol, received an anonymous letter dated Dec. 24 from a county officer alleging that Hayes ordered police in the Fourth Precinct to focus on arresting blacks in the vicinity of the South County Center and a Walmart nearby.

It alleges that Hayes used phrases such as “Let’s have a Black Day today,” and “Stop everybody with a tan,” and “Stop everybody black at the mall.”

The writer claims Hayes told black officers, “Not you guys, you’re the good ones.”

“You were heard by at least nine officers on multiple occasions directing enforcement action on persons with black, tan or colored skin without any reference to probable cause.”

If Hoft’s claims were anywhere near reality, where’s the independent confirmation from other media outlets.

Simply repeating his claims isn’t reporting. It’s parroting a meme and sticking to it.

WaPo and CNN have each found that Hoft’s claims are BS. Both in the issue with the scans, and with other claims Hoft has made.

He can’t hide behind the “3 sources” because his sources are clearly wrong/purposefully feeding BS to the masses.

Aunt of 18-year-old killed by law enforcement describes shooting

Authorities say an 18-year-old man was shot and killed by police officers and sheriff’s deputies Saturday evening outside an Ottawa hardware store.

Ottawa police were called about 7:50 p.m. Saturday to Orscheln Farm and Home at 2008 S. Princeton St. on a report of a person reportedly armed with a gun.

Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the call.

When officers arrived, they made contact with the person, later identified as Joseph Jennings, in the parking lot.

During the encounter, officers with the Ottawa Police Department and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office were involved in a shooting.

Jennings was treated at the scene for gunshot wounds and transported to an Ottawa hospital where he later died.

“Why did it take them shooting him 16 times at least for them to bring him down and go and take care of what they needed to take care of,” Jennings’ aunt, Brandy Smith, said.

Ottawa Police Chief Dennis Butler said officers did what they were trained to do.

I wonder, given the apparently metastasized white supremacism in the PDs over there, if there wasn’t a lot of intimidation/disruption/shakedowns etc. that bled the community of political engagement. Hard to run a campaign if you keep getting harassed by racist bigot cops.

J. Christian Adams: DOJ Civil Rights Attorneys Are ‘Rancid, Rotted, Corrupt Racialists’

In an interview with Newsmax on Friday, Adams showed particular contempt for the lawyers in the Justice Department’s civil rights division (where he worked under Bush), who he accused of being “anti-police, racially saturated, paranoid lawyers” and “rancid, rotted, corrupt racialists” who are incapable of acting in an unbiased manner because they recognize that racism exists.

“They think that the deck is stacked against African Americans everywhere, that you can’t get a fair shake in the criminal justice system, that people act with a racial intent all the time,” Adams said with derision. “These are people who think totally differently from most Americans.”

I think I see the problem here:

On today’s “WallBuilders Live” radio program, David Barton and Rick Green invited Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert on on to discuss America’s role in the Mideast. Barton declared that “terrorism was really on the ropes” before President Obama removed the last U.S. troops from Iraq, but now “terrorism has really rebuilt itself … [because] this has been an administration that has not done a good job of trying to take terrorists down or take terrorism out.”

Barton and co-host Green repeatedly expressed their desire to have someone like Gohmert serving as president instead of President Obama because, they said, Gohmert understands the difference between good and evil, which Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry, and the rest of the administration can never grasp because they support abortion rights and gay marriage.

Chuck-C’s Award

The Eric Breindel Collegiate Journalism Award is presented to the undergraduate journalist, columnist, editorial writer or reporter who best reflects the spirit of Mr. Breindel’s writings: love of country and its democratic institutions as well as the commitment to preserve the freedoms that allow such institutions to flourish.

The award, which began in 2006, offers winners a cash prize of $10,000, as well as a paid internship of his or her choice at either Fox News Channel, The Wall Street Journal, or the New York Post. In addition, residential housing in New York City for non-New York residents will be provided for the winner for the duration of the internship position.

Breindels move further right in the mid-’80s was prompted by a variety of indignations on display here: the Soviet Unions campaigns against Jews and Israel, and the alleged leftist coddling of Communists (masked as “liberals” ), criminals (treated as victims), and minority racists (like Louis Farrakhan). The columns titles alone recall the combative tone favored during Breindels 11 years at the editorial page helm: “Nazis of the Left,” “Smearing Clarence Thomas,” “The Rosenbergs and Their Apologists,” “Kristallnacht in Brooklyn,” “White Guilt,” “Filling a Quota,” “The Shame of the United Nations,” and “What Jesse Jackson Didnt Say.” Podhoretz sees Breindels obsessions as fitting for the child of Holocaust survivors who saw the totalitarian Soviets and their American apologists as the new Nazis and feared a progressive world where (white) victims (like the Central Park jogger) are blamed, and victimizers (like the shot mugger who successfully sued for $4.3 million) are lionized.

New Doe document links Walker campaign, two national groups

A newly released document alleges Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign illegally coordinated with two national groups on political advertising in a way that went further than what had been previously known.

If proved, prosecutors’ claims would undercut the argument that Walker and his allies did nothing wrong. Walker has stressed that two judges have ruled against prosecutors and he is not a target of the probe.

One group mentioned in the newly available filing is an arm of the Republican Governors Association that has run ads backing Walker since 2010. The other, the Republican State Leadership Committee, ran ads in 2011 against then-Sen. Jim Holperin (D-Conover), who survived a recall election that year but did not run for re-election in 2012.

WEDC board OK’d Ashley Furniture getting $6 million tax credit, cutting 1,900 jobs

The board overseeing the state’s flagship job-creation agency has quietly approved a $6 million tax credit for Ashley Furniture Industries with a condition allowing the company to eliminate half of its state workforce.

As approved by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. board, the award would allow the Arcadia-based global furniture maker to move ahead with a $35 million expansion of its headquarters and keep 1,924 jobs in the state.

But it wouldn’t require Ashley to create any new jobs, instead granting the company license to lay off half of its current 3,848 Wisconsin-based workers in exchange for an enterprise zone tax credit, one of the most valuable and coveted state subsidies.

On Politics: Ashley Furniture owners gave $20,000 to Scott Walker shortly after WEDC vote

Less than a month after the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. board approved a $6 million tax credit for Ashley Furniture Industries, the company’s owners gave $20,000 to Gov. Scott Walker’s re-election campaign.

The State Journal reported Sunday the board — led by Walker, who is chairman — approved the tax credits on Jan. 30 for the Arcadia-based company, though the award hasn’t been formally announced because a contract between the state’s flagship job-creation agency and Ashley has not been finalized.

Wisconsin monkeyed around with their credits with Walker at the helm beginning a few years ago. Moved the economic development credits out of their own office in the state Commerce Department and into the Governor’s office.

It’s yet another tax giveaway to a corporation, and the state not only loses tax revenues, but a bunch of jobs in the process.

The masked man who beheaded journalist James Foley appears in a web video created in support of New Mexico Republican Senate candidate Allen Weh.

The ad, released by the New Mexico Republican Party, is a combination of clips of President Barack Obama golfing and smiling paired with violence. The video also features Weh’s opponent, Sen. Tom Udall (D-NM).

Well, she did cause a (well-deserved) cratering of his career.

Herman: Indicted Gov. Rick Perry can’t carry concealed gun or buy ammo

…federal law known as 18 USC 922(n), and I quote:

“It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person (1) is under indictment for, or has been convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.”

And there’s more. As an indictee, Perry’s state-issued Concealed Handgun License, assuming he still has one — his office didn’t know as of Tuesday afternoon — will be suspended until the case against him is decided.

An especially interesting part begins at about 27:00, when Page says the military and police departments only make special efforts to recruit young black men because they’re willing to use lethal force against white people.

Another very interesting part at that same time is Page’s description of “29 Palms Survey” supposedly administered by Bush - in the late Nineties. I didn’t know that the governor of Texas could do such things.

Yet ANOTHER Ferguson police officer:

Eddie Boyd III, an officer who faced allegations of hitting children while serving under the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, quietly resigned and sought employment with the Ferguson Police Department. Boyd faced three complaints of physical abuse against children between 2004 and 2006, two of which were dropped. Internal affairs sustained the third complaint against Boyd, saying there was sufficient evidence to support the allegation that he struck a 12-year-old girl in the head with a pistol, and recommended Boyd be fired. The St. Louis police chose to demote him.

Not everyone local thinks that story Jim Hoft is promoting about the service guys getting beat up by a black mob is entirely on the up and up.

Report of black mob beating white men in Mississippi smells fishy: Jarvis DeBerry

…When he entered the restaurant, he said, he found his friend arguing with other men. The police showed up. Knighten says he showed them his .45 caliber handgun and his concealed-carry permit. Police made everybody leave.

At about 2 a.m., Knighten says, he and Weems were on their way to Weems’ house but decided to stop at Huddle House. The parking lot was nearly empty. But, Knighten says, the pair soon realized that they had been followed by more than 20 people…

…It’s also notable that all throughout the night, Knighten kept discovering his friend in trouble. By the time he walked into Waffle House, Weems was arguing with men. By the time he exited the bathroom at Huddle House, Weems was surrounded. By the time he walked outside the Huddle House, Weems was on the ground being kicked…

No I distinctly remember that you could not be in a hate group and be in the military and if found out it could and usually did lead to a discharge as I stated in the original post.

When I enlisted, I had to sign a form which listed groups considered a threat to the security of the US, and swear that I was not and never a member of same.

IIRC, the only groups I recognized were the communist party and the KKK.
