Blogger Chuck C. Johnson Hypes Ugly Anti-Gay Article at White Nationalist Website

The mask is off
Wingnuts • Views: 40,937

You may recall that National Review columnist John Derbyshire was fired from the magazine in 2012 when he published an absolutely horrible racist article at a website called Takimag.

Takimag is an overtly racist and often antisemitic publication, with a list of contributors that’s a who’s who of white nationalists and upper-class pseudo-intellectual bigots, including Pat Buchanan, the aforementioned John Derbyshire, “scientific racist” Steve Sailer, and another former National Review contributor who was also fired for links to white supremacists, Robert Weissberg. It’s a thoroughly disgusting place, made even more vile by a thin veneer of academic pretension over the ugly racism.

And today, far right blogger Chuck C. Johnson (who is NOT ME), the ranting demagogue who’s currently trying to get access to the sealed juvenile records of Michael Brown, made his motivations very clear by hyping the following homophobic article at Takimag.

The mask is all the way off now, folks. Bloggers like Johnson and Jim Hoft are openly linking to white nationalist websites, and not a single word of protest is heard from other conservatives.

UPDATE at 9/2/14 10:52:04 am by Charles Johnson

And now, right on cue, Chuck C. Johnson is denying Takimag is a racist publication — even though it could not possibly be any clearer.

Wow, he sure has moved up in the world. Just look at that list of heavyweights.

John Derbyshire, Naomi Schaefer-Riley, Mel Gibson, Alec Baldwin, Gary Oldman, Phil Robertson, and now Anthony Cumia.

ISIS commits atrocities specifically to whip up the US media into a frenzy of fear-mongering, and you can see it starting again already. They’re literally doing exactly what ISIS wants.

Media doesn’t exactly fall over themselves when thousands of Muslims are killed by ISIS, but when a journalist is executed, that’ll get their attention.

Casualties, statistics, and facts all fall by the wayside.

ISIS is an evil entity that must be crushed.

It will take more than just US airstrikes. It’ll take the Iraqis and Syrians and everyone else in the region to make that happen. Syrians are already sickened by the group, who were initially hailed as heroes because they were fighting Assad. But they decided that it was better to eliminate other rebel groups and seize their territories than to fight Assad directly, and then decided to sweep across into Iraq because of the vacuum left by a Maliki government that didn’t engender a whole lot of trust from the Iraqis in Northern Iraq. Iraq’s already dealt with ending one insurgency; they’ll have to do it again. Likewise Syria will have to not only fight the ISIS insurgency, but deal with Assad at the same time.

The 9-year-old girl who accidentally shot and killed her instructor at an Arizona gun range said the gun was too powerful for her after firing it, according to reports released by police on Tuesday and reviewed by the Associated Press.

The AP reported that the girl complained of shoulder pain after the incident and her family was so focused on her being injured from the gun’s recoil that they didn’t notice her instructor had been shot. A coworker rushed over to the shooting instructor, Charles Vacca, before the girl’s family realized what had occurred.

That’s because a lot of men think they’re entitled to sex. It can’t possibly be rape if he slipped her something to loosen her up a bit. After all, he bought her dinner and took her out dancing. He’s just getting what she owes him.

And if he happens to take a Gerber to the groin at some point, he’s just getting what she owes him

re: #19 Charles Johnson

ISIS commits atrocities specifically to whip up the US media into a frenzy of fear-mongering, and you can see it starting again already. They’re literally doing exactly what ISIS wants.

THIS. They know exactly which buttons to push and would love nothing better than to see the U.S. go cowboy and lash out. The resulting deaths of hundreds or thousands of innocent civilians being chalked up to necessary “collateral damage” would provide a veritable treasure trove of imagery that could be used to attract new recruits.

Look what happened with Gaza—they’re next door to Israel and actually have a terrorist group on the ground there capable of inflicting harm. ISIS is far, far away. But, but there could be sleeper cells here! Lone wolf jihadis! ZOMG, the Mexican border! American Muslims, 5th column, taqiyyah!

The war mongers want to whip people up into a frenzy of fear so they can go overseas & kill. There MUST be a smarter way to deal with this than the knee-jerk rage involved in “kill ‘em all and let God sort them out” or “turn the Mideast into glass”. If we can’t think of one, then we’re not half as advanced & enlightened as we imagine ourselves to be.
