Right Wing Blogger Chuck C. Johnson’s Appearance at a Birther Event With Orly Taitz

Pandering to the lowest common denominator of the right
Wingnuts • Views: 47,937

Right wing smear merchant Chuck C. Johnson (who is NOT ME) is becoming infamous for inserting himself into breaking news stories like the shooting of Michael Brown, and pandering to the worst elements of the right wing with blatantly racist assertions based on no real evidence — usually citing “anonymous sources.”

But one of Chuck’s more interesting associations has gotten almost no notice, and he never brings it up himself: his appearance in May of this year at a speaking event in Pacific Palisades, California, sharing billing with none other than the queen bee of crazed Birtherism, Orly Taitz. And he didn’t just appear at the event; according to Taitz, Chuck explicitly praised her work and said he had discovered evidence that the Birthers were indeed correct and that Barack Obama was not a US citizen, but Andrew Breitbart refused to publish it.

I emphasize that these are Orly Taitz’s claims, because she’s well-known for, uh, exaggerating things. But the event took place in front of an audience of “at least 20 people,” and there’s more evidence that her account may be accurate.

There’s no doubt this Republican women’s event at the Pacific Palisades Riviera Country Club did happen, because Taitz actually published a photograph of herself and three other women, posing with none other than Chuck C. Johnson, holding a copy of his book.

Here’s Taitz’s description of what Chuck C. Johnson said at this event, and there are some pretty wild claims here; you decide whether you think it’s credible that Johnson said these things: More Revelations From Writer Charles C. Johnson : OrlyTaitzEsq.com.

In presence of at least 20 people at the event Mr. Johnson revealed that indeed he was hired by Andrew Breitbart to try to disprove birthers, however Mr. Johnson did in depth research and confirmed that the birthers are correct, that Obama is indeed using falsified IDs. Mr. Johnson went to Andrew Breitbart and urged publication of this evidence, but was rebuffed.

Further, Mr. Johnson revealed that his wife is from Indonesia and they did research in Indonesia. Mr. Johnson stated that he researched the school records of Assissi school in Jakarta. Johnson stated that Obama claimed that many students had in their school registration their religion listed as Muslim, that it was not a big deal. Mr. Johnson researched the records and found that only a couple of students in that whole school were listed as Muslim, as it was a Christian school. Obama was one of these couple of students. This shows that adherence to Islam was important for Obama’s step father Lolo Soetoro.

Moreover, Johnson talked about Obama’s half brother Malik Obama. Johnson repeatedly called Malik, Obama’s alleged half brother. When several women asked him, why do you call him alleged half brother, why are you saying alleged, Johnson stated that he does not believe that they are biologically related and he intends to investigate this matter further. Johnson stated that he is a friend of Joel Gilbert and works with him on this matter. Johnson also went into details into Lois Lerner’s actions relating to approving Malik’ s 501 C3 application . Johnson stated that he forwarded all of the information on Malik’s application and Lois Lerner’s actions to Darrel Issa, he stated that Issa had this information for a year.

Johnson stated that a number of his relatives worked for CIA and he has contacts with a number of CIA and FBI agents and he has contacts with the police.

Johnson talked about a number of politicians, such as Grover Norquist and Michelle Obama, her alleged committee exploring her future run for the US senate from Illinois against Republican senator Mark Kirk.

Johnson repeatedly stated that Orly is correct in her findings, that there are very few people around the country who work on the issue of Obama’s IDs and Orly is one of them.

Orly Taitz also posted this picture of Chuck C. Johnson’s signature on her copy of his book, as further evidence.

I think her story has the ring of truth, and even if Johnson doesn’t actually believe what Taitz claims he said, it sounds very much like his style to tell a right wing group of Birthers what he thinks they want to hear.

I see no reason to doubt Orly’s main claims, even if she gets some details wrong. She’s known for being a conspiracy theorist who believes any stupid claim about Obama, not for inventing stories from scratch.

“Mr. Johnson did in depth research and confirmed that the birthers are correct”

I’m thinking that research consisted of Gingersnap tweeting “Anybody got any info on Obama’s Birth Certificate?”

Breitbart turning down a damning Obama story? You know it had to be so full of shit when even the bagger audience wouldn’t have believed it.

I’d say that Chuck C has some pretty solid birther credentials.

What kind of moron would be brain dead enough to have his picture taken with Orly this year? I can almost understand wingnuts hanging around her before she showed the world just how much of a lunatic she is but to cuddle up next to her this year?

This tidbit:

It must be noted that Taitz claims Johnson is working with Joel Gilbert whom believes communist Frank Marshall Davis is Obama’s real father and he was born in Hawaii. That could explain Johnson’s vague Twitter responses.

Indeed. One would think that few women would be interested in the “he-man woman hater’s club” the GOP has become.

The most likely explanation is that women who have decided to submit to patriarchy are particularly irritated by those who wish to end patriarchy.

The Turks are likely wary of the Kurdish involvement in fighting ISIS. If/when ISIS gets put down, the next issue for the region is going to be that not everyone fighting will want to re-assemble Iraq. And no question the Kurds are at the forefront of that, which has implication for Turkey’s struggle with its own seperatists.

Hadn’t heard much about Orly Taitz in a while. Here’s how you know she’s a complete fraud and liar: even RW media generally ignores her. Fox, WSJ, most reactionary radio hosts, even most RW websites ignore her, including those with really low standards like NRO and RedState. Her fans are the old tea bagger freaks who love to hear her and fellow loons like Jerome Corsi, Joseph Farrah, Michele Bachmann, and the Nuge at their silly ass rallies.

When Breitbart won’t publish your “findings” and you’re now in league with Chuck C. Johnson, you’ve pretty much hit rock bottom. But they have a core fan base and the money keeps flowing in, and that’s the real goal to these fucking charlatans.

It’s a way of assigning resources.)

Sticks, Stones, and Slogans: Why I Will Not Be Deterred
By Charles Johnson at 1:50 PM
I have been called many things in my short time on this campus. Let’s run down part of that list, shall we? We’re about to get to the meanest thing that’s been said of my politics yet and my response to it in the next post.

Here are just some of the more recent examples of statements that some members of the community have said about me.

A “horrible person” by some gentleman at the Athenaeum.
A “corporate shill” by a Pomona professor during a “discussion” of Coca-Cola.
“Naive” by another Pomona professor
A “Fascist,” a “neo-Nazi,” a “hate-monger,” and a member of the “Hitler Youth” by my unoriginal emailing readers.
My views, based upon sound economics, were completely misstated by Sarah Burgess of The Student Life and someone recently asked me — serious or not, I honestly couldn’t tell — what I would do if someone “kicked me in the balls.”

I replied that in this nation of laws whenever someone attacks you we call that “assault” and that I would let the police and the judiciary handle it from there.

Of course all of these things are the price we pay for freedom and I would pay them over and over again to have even half the freedom we have in this country.

So go ahead, my friend, call me a “fascist” or whatever you want. Enjoy that First Amendment, but remember that I too retain a First Amendment right and that I shall be exercising mine, especially if you threaten me.

Funny, he actually raised taxes on the poor. The Tax Reform Act of 1986:

The top tax rate for individuals was lowered from 50% to 28% while the bottom rate was raised from 11% to 15%.[4] Many lower level tax brackets were consolidated, and the upper income level of the bottom rate (married filing jointly) was increased from $5,720/year to $29,750/year. This package ultimately consolidated tax brackets from fifteen levels of income to four levels of income.[5] This would be the only time in the history of the U.S. income tax (which dates back to the passage of the Revenue Act of 1862) that the top rate was reduced and the bottom rate increased concomitantly. In addition, capital gains faced the same tax rate as ordinary income.

The rate structure also maintained a novel “bubble rate.” The rates were not 15%/28%, as widely reported. Rather, the rates were 15%/28%/33%/28%. As a result, for taxpayers after a certain income level, TRA86 provided a flat tax of 28%. This was jettisoned in the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990, otherwise known as the “Bush tax increase”, which violated his Taxpayer Protection Pledge.

Freepers are taking the Alaska ruling in their usual calm, rational manner:

See there, voters? See there, legislatures? See there, people? You don’t need to govern yourselves. Let a black robed federal thug do all your legislating for you.
Get ready to have sodomy shoved down your throat, too, churches and businesses….you will take it. And like it, thus sayeth the Almighty Government.

Might be time to rethink Marbury vs. Madison.

I’m thoroughly convinced that voting doesn’t mean jack sh!t any more.

These so called “judges” need to be hanged for tyranny.

The judge is an outlaw.

The judge should visit free republic and learn a few things about the Constitution that he has sworn to protect and defend.

Judge Timothy “Tim” Burgess was nominated by President George W. Bush in July, 2005, at the recommendations of then US Senators Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) and Frank Murkowski (R-Alaska).

Another day, another federal judge imposes homosexual marriage on another state which had defined marriage, through their state laws or constitutions, as between only one man and one woman.

We seem to have these rulings just about every day now. The list of states which still haven’t been forced to accomodate homosexual marriage is getting shorter and shorter.

Dems have infiltrated the GOP. Been going on ever since I was little.

It’s a reference to the black youth who got shot by a St. Louis County cop last week. The gun that was fired at the officer was found jammed. The reference to white privilege is Chuckles mocking the idea it exists and just saying people are going after the cop because he fired more shots than the black guy whom he shot.

The liquid diet consists of a powder called Isoflex that has to be mixed with 2% milk. They require the milk because of the nutrients in it.

Isoflex? You mean the whey protein brand “Isoflex”?:
allmaxnutrition.com

2% milk is just cow’s milk with about half the fat removed.

Cow’s milk is consumed for 1) the protein (mostly calcium caseinate and whey protein) and 2) the mineral portion (calcium obviously but traces of others).

Other than that there is nothing about 2% milk that would be necessary.

Health food and body building stores have oodles of liquid diets and powders that can be dissolved in water or juices.

I was perusing Latta v. Otter today, because one of my friends on FB noted that Greg Abbott, the GOP candidate for Texas governor is using the “OMG it will discourage opposite sex marriage” argument against same sex marriage. The opinion in Latta disposes of that argument (starting at page 19).

I did find this one amusing footnote (number 12 on page 21) that gave me the giggles:

He [Otter] also states, in conclusory fashion, that allowing same-sex marriage will lead opposite-sex couples to abuse alcohol and drugs, engage in extramarital affairs, take on demanding work schedules, and participate in time-consuming hobbies. We seriously doubt that allowing committed same-sex couples to settle down in legally recognized marriages will drive opposite-sex couples to sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll.

When I was in college, I lived in a co-op and one of the seating areas was called the SDR&R (short for Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll). Yes, I’m very immature. The guy I was pointing this out to also lived in the same co-op, as did his now-wife.

Hard to come up with much of a book on a guy who had almost no original thoughts and considered it a virtue to say and do nothing.

Not as bad as Buchanan or Wilson, but easily in the bottom 10. Perhaps just above Dubya?

I disagree somewhat on Coolidge; for all of his real or perceived flaws and shortcomings, he was ahead of his time on the issue of civil rights:

Civil rights

Osage men with Coolidge after he signed the bill granting Native Americans U.S. citizenship.
Coolidge spoke in favor of the civil rights of African Americans and Catholics,[122] saying in his first State of the Union address that the rights of the former were “just as sacred as those of any other citizen” under the U.S. Constitution and that it was a “public and a private duty to protect those rights.”[123] He appointed no known members of the Ku Klux Klan to office; indeed, the Klan lost most of its influence during his term.[124] His administration commissioned studies to improve programs for Native Americans.

In 1924, Coolidge responded to a letter that claimed the United States was a “white man’s country”:

…I was amazed to receive such a letter. During the war 500,000 colored men and boys were called up under the draft, not one of whom sought to evade it. [As president, I am] one who feels a responsibility for living up to the traditions and maintaining the principles of the Republican Party. Our Constitution guarantees equal rights to all our citizens, without discrimination on account of race or color. I have taken my oath to support that Constitution. It is the source of your rights and my rights. I propose to regard it, and administer it, as the source of the rights of all the people, whatever their belief or race. A colored man is precisely as much entitled to submit his candidacy in a party primary, as is any other citizen. The decision must be made by the constituents to whom he offers himself, and by nobody else.[125]

On June 2, 1924, Coolidge signed the Indian Citizenship Act, which granted U.S. citizenship to all American Indians, while permitting them to retain tribal land and cultural rights. However, the act was unclear on whether the federal government or the tribal leaders retained tribal sovereignty.[126] His administration appointed the Committee of One Hundred, a reform panel to examine federal institutions and programs dealing with Indian nations. This committee recommended that the government conduct an in-depth investigation into reservation life (health, education, economics, justice, civil rights, etc.). This was commissioned through the Department of Interior and conducted by the Brookings Institution, resulting in the groundbreaking Meriam Report (1928).

Coolidge repeatedly called for laws to prohibit lynching, calling it a “hideous crime”.[123] However, most Congressional attempts to pass this legislation were filibustered by Southern Democrats.[127] Coolidge appointed some African Americans to federal office; he retained Harding’s choice of Walter L. Cohen of New Orleans, Louisiana, as the comptroller of customs and offered Cohen the post of minister to Liberia, which the businessman declined.

Just because asses the likes of CCJ are attempting to rehabilitate Coolidge’s overall reputation, there’s no reason to not give credit to Coolidge where it’s due.

I’ll also say this: An a president who actively worked to change things was not what most voters wanted during Coolidge’s presidency. World War I, the post-war collision between Woodrow Wilson and the Senate over the League of Nations treaty, and the ongoing failure of Prohibition had temporarily soured the voting public on major change. Their desire for would return when the Great Depression descended upon the nation, but during Silent Cal’s time in office there was not enough public support for an energetic executive.

I really think that Chuck is mentally ill, and this confirms it for me. I don’t mean ‘mentally ill’ in the sense of ‘psychotic’ or ‘schizophrenic’, but in the sense of having a personality disorder. I think he’s somewhere on the continuum of ‘disordered’. This kind of comment (I have SOURCES! Highly placed SOURCES! but i just can’t give you any details!) is typical of narcissists, for example.
I think most internet stalkers and trolls fall on that continuum, I think the DSM calls it Axis B. Some of them are just outright sociopaths, however.
